    My wife questioned you bc you added ...just salt and pepper.
    I am the cook in this family. I did it just like you did...salt n pepper.
    This thing was a huge hit an hour ago and everyone loved the taste.

    Very educational as far as over cooking pork loin. I usually throw it in a crock pot and shred it but I wanted to try something new in my Ninja so guess who is having pork tenderloin tonight!!!!

    I cooked 2 one after another. Home smells good and now I'm going to help feed my family at a family function. Thank you! I used a thermometer. One got up to 153°F at an hour and the other got to 160°F in 50 minutes. They were different sizes and I didn't weigh them because I was focusing on the temperature. I used an analog meat thermometer and simply poked at it at 45 minutes and guessed how much longer to get to 150°F. Thank you!

    2nd time watching this video John. Thank you for the tips. My tenderloin from Sam's Club is in the Ninja now. These are a smaller cut that are in two pieces. You demo was with a larger cut but I left the 350 temp and then only did 20 minutes and will check the internal temp at that time. Your tip about rolling your tenderloin in the excess salt and pepper was great. I used some parchment paper and clean up was a breeze. I always come to your channel and search first when I need a recipe or guidelines. Your reviews are spot on and so detailed - it's a huge help to me. Thank you!

    I love using my Meater probe. I have my first pork loin section waiting for dinner tonight. Could you put it in the pressure pot and precook it before baking to shorten the time? I noticed you did not set up a cooking time with the Meater. So I just learned you could use the probe to monitor the cooking temp. Do you have a video using the pressure cook and broil for the pork loin? Thanks for the info. Will try it tonight.

    But I have a ninja max xl air fryer..
    I have seen you do others things..
    I think chicken 🤔 in the ninja max xl..
    Do I do 350 degrees and
    Press what?
    Air roast? Air broil? Or air bake?

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  Před 3 lety

      Very hard to say and it would very much depend on which pork roast you have... but I would probably go with relying on an instant read thermometer for safe temps on pork... but I'll also say that different pork roast cook differently and depending on the type and size you have will have a huge effect... hope this helps...

  • @davemarrione5605
    @davemarrione5605 Před 5 lety +2

    John- Still moist & juicy with an immediate QR? From my experience, I have found that most meats require a minimum 10-15 minute NR, before a QR, to “balance” out the pressure & keep them from drying out, when performing an immediate quick release, but I’m always open to trying different things. I may give this method a go and see what type of results I get.
    By any chance, have you tried this same method with a Tenderloin? If so, did you have to make any adjustments?
    Thanks, in advance.

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  Před 5 lety

      I do try to use natural release in many recipes but sometimes I think it causes meats to overcook and that stores then or worse I believe and you would need to adjust times fairly significant, I have done a tenderloin but I have not got the final product acceptable yet...it is a little tricky but I hope to soon have a perfected recipe...thanks for watching and commenting Dave!!!

      Yes, the times I use here should be good for anything pork loin is not considerably larger... but I still think an instant read is a good idea, if you open the Foodi, test it with the instant read and don't have a satisfactory or safe temp then simply put the lid back on and add more time,
