125,750 is a very impressive score for this arcade classic. The rather strange control set-up it had made the game EXTREMELY difficult to play in the arcades.

I have played Defender dozens of times in the early 80's in the arcades and NEVER used to hyperspace button. and hundreds more on the Amiga 1000 which didn't have Hyperspace. My highest scores of around 200,000 came (by far) on the Amiga version. May be some trickery here as some things he seems to ram with his nose and they explode and not him?
BS, i own the real game. This is some cheater ROM crap, if u watch closely he literally runs the front of his ship into many things and doesn't die. Some kinda of cheat mode.
He's using savestates. No way he could do some of those dodges yet not know enough to actually defend the humanoids or catch them when they are falling.
This player doesn't know how to attack UFOs, capture and save the people, speed thru, reverse, vertical moves, and shoots very slow. The machine was capable to shoot incredible amounts of shots way faster. This player always getting his/her planet destroyed. Real pros never have that, and know how to warp across to other side to save humans.

Love how the game creates a 'bullet' 1mm away from your ship and it gives you 0.00001 seconds to react to it. 🤨
