- Hello everyone and welcome to thecreativecove. 😊Today I wanted to share my first journal flip through. I have to confess I rarely finish journals. My focus has always been making and playing with themed ephemera. However I have recently completed this honey bee journal and wanted to share it with you. I have had a fascination with insects since I was a little girl. Their uniqueness and adaptability to their ever evolving environment intrigues me. Honey bees are no exception. The familiar hum of their wings as they are busy at work in the garden is comforting to me. A sign of warm days and colourful landscape. I hope you like this flip through and I hope it gives you some inspiration to find the beauty in everyday life and all its wonderment. I apologize for the doggie interruption, she likes to bark at anything that goes by the window 😊

I love watching your videos. I am a retired teacher learning new things. I have always wanted to learn to sketch and paint with different mediums. I am learning a lot from you. I love how you taught us step by step how to draw a mushroom. My husband couldn't believe I drew the mushroom I showed him. Please keep teaching us how to draw step by step. There is something so wonderful about bee theme projects that always gets my attention. Your drawing skills are impressive...as are your watercolor sketches! Lots of nice work has gone into the creation of this journal...well done!
