Aloha! I've been following you for some time now. I don't always comment. I just wanted to pop on and say again, how much I appreciate you taking the time to share your processes with all of us! Especially when I heard that you are doing all of this before walking the dog and going to work! Oh my, I do have to put it to you, girl. A huge pat on the back for that! I do also want to mention, and I may have said this before...you have such a lovely voice. I always feel like i've got a friend in the room when I turn your videos on while I am doing my own art. Thank you again for taking the time to share with us! Oh, and by the way, I am a fellow messy creator!😅 Have a beautiful weekend and always look forward to your next video!🌈🌺🙋♀️
Wow thank you so very much. You are so kind. I am so happy you like the channel. This is why I do it. I hope to inspire others and hear about there creative endeavours. 😊
@@thecreativecove6898 we have completely polar opposite energy/creativity cycles I have zero cognitive functioning in the mornings much less energy or inspiration to try and get crafty in the morning! 😂
A little tidbit to throw out there to everyone. I bought a package of fabric covered elastic ponytail holders and they work FABULOUSLY to hold small booklets together. They come in solid black, various solid colors, bright colors with silver metallic thread, etc. inexpensive. Walmart and Dollar Tree.
Thank you! That's a really good idea!
Great idea. Thank you 😊
Great idea! And I think potentially the ponytail holder/scrunchie would give a pen something more substantial to clip to?
I’m 74, an artist all my life……THIS CHANNEL IS THE BEST!! I hope you can reach a million subscribers…..thank you❤❤❤
Aww thank you so very much 😊❤
Loving your fun process. If you pour your glue off into a low, wide mouth jar with a lid, it’ll be easy to access and clean up every time and when you close the lid put some saran wrap over the mouth of the jar before puting the lid on, this makes it easy to open each time.
Great tip! Thank you 😊
I dearly love using the medical tape. Inexpensive, bright white, works well in holding things together.
My fav!!
I love coming up with changes as you go. I think when I start with a structured plan, I keep judging myself and don't have as much fun. I craft along in my round robin journal while watching today.
I do the exact same thing 😂 now I approach it as just have fun. Doesn’t always work but I find it has helped a lot 😊
Your uncontrolled wing it playful experiments are inspiring me to LET GO something I can’t seem to do as a new creator who lived her entire life in her logical controlling brain. I’ve spent years as a wannabe artist collecting mixed media supplies, now retired I’m having a hard time to play!! And I keep asking myself why am I making art. For the fun and discovery of the process! Thx for encouraging my art adventures.
Art is so important to any creative mind. I am so happy that you’re getting your hands dirty and most of all have fun. Enjoy the ups and downs I know I do 😂. Some days I can master it other days it’s like day one. 😊
@@lindastevens6686 i understand exactly, my career as a clinical lab scientist was exact, it has taken me almost 4 years into my retirement to be free and play and not be critical. Don't give up. Just know if you're not having fun you are thinking too much for perfection. BE FREE AND PLAY. it doesn't have to be pretty .
Love how you create something so cute and fun with scraps! Thank you for sharing and for the inspiration! Take care x
Thanks so much!😊
Never thought of threading beads with clear élastique… Those tiny journals are just adorable. I just love your calligraphy fabric. That was such a great find… Merci 😊
Thank you so much! Ya I scored at the thrift shop that day.
Love love these mini journals 😊😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you! I love making mini journals and your process is inspiring. ❤️
Thank you so much!
Very cute mini journals. Using what we have is good advise. Hugs and stay well.
Thank you 😊
I’m always excited when I see you’ve uploaded a new video! I enjoy watching you work and you’re always inspiring! I too am a messy crafter ~ when the creative juices are flowing there’s no stopping to clean up! 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing Michelle and have a great day too!
Yay! Thank you! ☺️ fellow messy crafter 😆
Hello Michele. I just love the way you do things. Your work is so beautiful. I find it really hard to work unless everything is tidy and put away. At least when I first start something. Just because, sometimes i get too overwhelmed with too many options. Also I wish I could do more than one project at a time, but alas, my brain just stops working when I try to do that. lol Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful little journals. ❤😊
Thank you for your inspiration, love your work!
Michele, this was great especially since I'm tackling my fabric scraps. When my Fabritac gets too thick to squeeze out of the (Sugarbelle icing piping) bottle I add a pipette or two of acetone to it. Stirring it in and/or allowing it to mix over time helps the too runny effect if you use it immediately. Thanks, Hazel
Thanks for the tips on the beads at the front page.🥰
Anytime!
I love your journal making process. They are so cute and yes I'm inspired to create.
Wonderful!!! Thank you 😊
Very cute! Love these journals! I need to create some smaller ones, so this was great inspiration! THANKS!!
Go for it! Have fun!!!
Creative and fun, thanks Michele. Sending best wishes 😊
Thank you! You too!
This is so good, what a gorgeous idea ☺☺
Thanks 😊
I love you video's. So relaxing. 👍🧡💐
Thank you so much!☺️
Oh, how pretty those little journals turned out! I love them all. I like what you working space looks like, too. It's the same with me: once I start making something chaos will spread. I clean my desk every few weeks (when things begin to slide down) but it's a mess again in minutes. 😆
Thank you! 😂 we have much in common
When I work with liquid glue I pour it into a small jar (with lid) that once held a night cream. When I'm done with my project, I screw on the lid tightly, and my liquid glue stays good till next use. Less mess.
Love to see your ideas🥰 Very inspiring... Thanks so much😘
Thank you 😊
Love it x
Thanks 😊
Very pretty❤
Thank you! 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
What is your punch tool called? I love the way it finished the punched holes. Great video. Thank you for your inspiration.
I believe it’s called a gator I bought mine at Michael’s.
Would you happen to know the title of the black/white illustrated plant book you are using? I’m guessing not. You probably picked it up at thrift store, but thought I’d give it a shot. Thanks!
Yes it’s called the “Wildflowersof America Hand Book” 1918 I believe. I bought two. One was in really rough shape so that’s the one I use up. The other sits on my shelf as a little treasure. 😊
