It's not always easy to do what's not popular, but that's where you make your money. Buy the dip that look bad to less careful investors and hang on until their real value is recognized. No one becomes successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part

@@johncraig86 Maybe you should look at the history, e.g. how long it took for the markets to just get back to normal after the 2000-dot-com-bubble-crash. Things are equally bad in 2022. High inflation. The USA has a *massive* debt. The FED can´t lower the interest rates like they started doing in 2008/2009 and the FED are doing quantitative tightening. Just because the markets usually don´t take 5 years or more to get back to normal, nobody says it can´t happen again - because it has happened previously. And finally: Some of the stocks she has invested in have been priced at totally ridiculous P/E´s before the markets started their decline in the beginning of 2022 - that´s another argument for saying that those shares might not be "back on track" in 5 years.

“The firm favours companies that are often unprofitable and whose stock prices are highly correlated. Rather than gauge the portfolio’s aggregate risk exposures and simulate their effects during a variety of market conditions, the firm uses its past as a guide to the future and views risk almost exclusively through the lens of its bottom-up research into individual companies.”

she never said it was "impossible to have inflation", she literally said that u will have deflationary pressures when u have technological convergence (which i believe we are just beginning to understand), however if u look at EU, and Japan they either have deflation or stagnation for atleast the last decade until this year, this year was the first year where they actually had inflation, also inflation over the long term is better then deflation over the long term, also when u have supply chain issues, like EU has due to gas imports u will naturally have inflation, gas is used to heat homes in The EU is why, but not just that there are supply chain issues throughout the entire economy, if people cannot access goods u will have inflation in our current economic system, and that is just a face, but again she never said "inflation is impossible", no rational economist would ever say that, including her, sounds to me like u invested into some of the stocks that she invested in and got completely wrecked, which i did too btw, but i don't complain about it like u do, infact the more u look into her LONG TERM ANALYSIS the more u will ultimately understand about our current economic system, stock market, etc, just saying

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities

How can she say she was expecting deflation after the biggest bubble stock market i history, to justify ONLY being in unprofitable tech stocks. She’s literally insane

I wouldn't trust anyone who "missed" inflation. A lot of people saw that coming, as it was already happening. Does she not look at M2? Also, a lot of people predicted Ukraine. Not good.

She is up 50% in the last 5 years so she is 10% return IF you got it near inception sooo.... a little far from her 40% return which btw 90%+ of investors didn't buy arkk until 2020 so neg YoY returns for over 75% of arkk investors..

Not Official yet Cathy. When the numbers confirm that will be next leg down in market. Don't join the suckers that are being manipulated into buying in at this level. This market has a lot of downside ahead. Don't fight the Fed. Tightening to continue for a long time to come
