Result: Pass - No Fuel Leak.
This is a test on the fuel system to ensure there is no fuel leakage in a high-speed rear-end collision. There is no instrumentation in the dummies.
The last seats are very dangerous!

I don't even need to watch the rear-end test, the front is so bad being the #1 worst that it is mentally impossible for me to ever get in one let alone own it.

Thank you so very much for showing us what happens in a rear end collision. The 50 states sponsored Collision reviews will not show what happens to these vehicles. Makes you wonder why they won't! And? Why is it always a front-end or side-impact which is good to know but never a rear end? With most people not paying attention while driving I would think this would be most important in many cases
Michael Morrison It’s because the most serious injuries happen in a front or side crash, because those cause damage to the cabin where you’d be sitting. The worst thing that could really happen in a rear crash is whiplash or something, provided you’re wearing a seatbelt
@@robertetzenhouser your right in some cases and wrong in others. The crash test don't show rear end impacts because alot of cars don't have much of a rear end like a Kia Soul or other compact cars and suvs, there is no crumple zone to take the impact. Plus, they never test a larger vehicle (Truck/Suv) colliding into the side cabin of a car... Can you imagine the damage to the test dummies heads?

The safety design of this van is disappointing for a 2010s vehicle. I'd put it on par with the 2004-2010 Toyota Sienna with side airbags.
