I’m from Colorado Springs and I just ordered the version two of this MST air intake and it was worth every penny on my Toyota supra turbo noise all day long even the blow out valve

I have this on my A90. This is truly an intake that WILL ADD POWER. Especially when tuned. Plus you can really hear turbo whine.
But Tesla can still beat 😂😂😂

Do you think it would fit in a BMW X5 i40 because the hole and intake look the same as the sock one

Hey SI, So I purchased the MSTv2 intake from you guys that replaces the whole intake from the filter thru the stock pipe that clips onto the turbo (vs using the stock pipe with the v1). I was wondering if you noticed a slight flutter on heavy deceleration? Every piece is tightly secured except the v2 pipe that clips directly to the turbo. That piece has a little wiggle like its not really an air tight seal - Its just held in place by a retaining clip. I did remove and reuse the orange factory seal ring but it still has some wiggle. I get great turbo noise and whine and "blowoff" (if we can call it that) but the flutter has me concerned that air is getting in elsewhere besides the through the filter. Do you think it could be the waste gate sound or do you think im leaking air from somewhere?

It's supposed to make that sound on decel, its releasing all of the air that was being brought in when you were previously accelerating

Not that we have seen yet - its been a few years, and the way it is set up there is no code to really throw , just.a temp sensor up there.

Do you need a tune for this?
A tune is not required to run an intake. However, in another video of a competing intake he says that you will not see a horsepower increase with any intake unless you tune it because the DME senses the engines torque output and it will dial back any torque increase to stay within stock parameters.
Could u leave out the cover and have it function normally?
I got a clear cover for mine. The best of both worlds!
I have this setup in my Supra. Does your air filter and piping rotate slightly like mine does or did I install my wrong?
Look at the video closely you should be able to see the placement of ours. I am not too sure of what exactly you are asking.
