FILM DESCRIPTION:
A seemingly ideal day turns disastrous when California's notorious San Andreas fault triggers a devastating, magnitude 9 earthquake, the largest in recorded history. As the Earth cracks open and buildings start to crumble, Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson), an LAFD search-and-rescue helicopter pilot, must navigate the destruction from Los Angeles to San Francisco to bring his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) and their only daughter (Alexandra Daddario) to safety.

I held it for almost 3 minutes (out of water), in water I have gone for 2 minutes. But not something I condone doing at a public pool and when you do have a mate watching you.

Like Poseidon (2006), they did a great job here portraying drowning. Very sad to watch. Although Blake lives here while Kurt Russell's character in Poseidon died.

One of the most scariest things you can experience especially if you’re panicking. Happened to me in the 8th grade at the river as my foot got caught on a downed tree and I couldn’t get away. I literally felt all my energy and oxygen depleting and what’s worse is that I remember it so vividly. I’m 35 years old now and still sometimes I awaken from nightmares tasting the murky water and gasping for air. I can also psychologically feel the compressions on my chest and the pain from the broken ribs.

This Scene made me so mad. He could've moved those things out of the way like he did before she drowned. He knew how scared she was before she drowned too, so that's how you know he wanted her to drown. You stood behind the glass the whole time and bid nothing but watch her drown vs saving her before she had drowned.
Um, he was probably panicking just like any father would blake was panicking too and she had little space and he probably didn’t realize that he could save her until after she went underwater and so did he, plus he probably was having hesitation due to losing his previous daughter..it’s like he was reliving that incident the scene was amazing your weird
