I may be mistaken about something in the video, can someone clarify? Can all previous generation Xbox games be played on the Series X or not? I hear some games doesn't work? I'm sorry if I was mistaken, I thought it could play everything from pre-gen systems.
They cannot. All (non-Kinect) Xbox One games can play on the new Series X/S, but less than half of the Xbox 360 library are compatible and less than 50 original (the first) Xbox games are currently backwards compatible. They've done better than Sony in this regard, but it still isn't ideal.

@@JebberGamingJaws Microsoft knew what they were doing with Game Pass and even with its deal with EA. I had planned on playing ME Legendary Edition on the PS5, but got it for Xbox bc it was $10 cheaper (via Game Pass/EA Play) and 120 fps.

I'm gonna miss the evasiveness of 5. The grappling hook will make for some interesting surprise plays, but I get the feeling that people are going to be a lot less aggressive overall. Maybe I'm wrong though. I didn't play the beta and most of the footage I've seen hasn't really shown off what Infinite can really do.
I agree with your thoughts on the Series X. It's my most played console right now, but I don't have a PS5. Playstation and Nintendo both have more interesting libraries, but GamePass makes Xbox worth it, in my opinion. I love the backwards compatibility and the controller. I definitely agree that Xbox needs some more JRPG type games. Some more interesting/weird games instead of the standard sports, and shooters. I always end up buying all of the consoles, so it doesn't matter anyway. Console wars are lame. All of these systems are great in their own ways.
The sheer game diversity on Xbox is by far the most diverse out of all of them. Sure on jrpg not a huge amount of them but they have shooters, racers, 3rd person adventure, flight simulators, rpg, twin stick, platfoemers from first & third party party. Sony doesn’t make jrpg. I think this gen with the amount of ppl getting Xbox we’ll see a lot of those third party jrpg coming to Xbox and to gamepass, like the Yakuza series. That’s like 600+ hours worth of games alone. It will be interesting to see what the jrpg space will be like next year.

I prefer it to the PS5, but I keep having to switch back to the PlayStation for many of the ones I play, so I'm really hoping to see more come over. If lose my mind if they brought over the Atelier games.
I was able to get my Xbox series x for Christmas and I’m in love! The fact that most of the games I play are at 60 FPS is a Far Cry 😁 from last gen with the sub 30 FPS games. Gamepass is a game changer and helps me decide what games I like that I can then pick up either used physically or on deep discount digitally love your content and I like that you look at the whole picture when it comes to Xbox
Went for series x myself this generation and it's amazing so far. Love the upscale for older games they have and that I can use the older controllers as well and in general how they treat the older generations with this :) also great video
I 100% agree with you the next system I'm getting is the one you have in the video. I have a PS3, PS4, switch and Xbox 360. I'm tired of my PS4 and PS3 not being backwards compatible. So I'll be getting that series X soon. Thanks for the honest opinion
The Series X is such a great console right now. My backlog is massive and I've been playing a lot of games that have been benefiting from the hardware and upgrades. Quick resume has really spoiled me too. The Xbox One was a trainwreck, but the Series X has definitely made me glad I stuck with it since I can take my entire library with me and just keep gaming like I always have but with next gen benefits. And while I personally don't need Gamepass, it's an undeniably great service for consumers. Xbox really does offer the most bang for your buck.
@Rubicon 1 Definitely. One of the first games I tried was Gears 5 and I immediately felt the difference. So much more responsive and fluid, and it already felt that way on the One X. The graphics are even more stunning too. I also tested out Resident Evil 2 and I was able to jump between saves in mere seconds and finished up some challenges I gave up on due to how much they required restarting and waiting for the game to reload. And I did this all while I was playing Red Dead Redemption II, which I played for a few months straight, and never once had to reload the game. Just kept jumping back in with quick resume. I really hope these seamless game generations become the norm moving forward. Xbox has really dedicated themselves to it and it feels great just looking at my 100+ library of games and knowing they can all be played on one machine.

Good news about Xbox in regards to Japanese games, is that they've been drastically expanding and making an effort to work with Japanese developers to get more Japanese support. The original Xbox was a flop in Japan and the brand has been quite non-existent there since. But ever since Phil Spencer took over, Xbox has games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Yakuza, Nier, and so much more they wouldn't have gotten before. They've definitely been making the right moves.
I really hope all this Japanese support continues. JRPGs are actually pretty much what I only play on my One X (still waiting on Series X availability).

Ive had a PS5 since Dec 22nd.. I think I'd prefer the Series X. The only thing that stopped me from getting the Series X over PS5, was the fact that I have hundreds of game already on PlayStation. As of right now, I believe the Series X is the better purchase for gamers. Looking at Game Pass and gamer points you get just for playing games on your Xbox. Xbox is more consumer friendly. Sony is greedy and mostly out of touch. I keep hearing from developers that Sony is difficult to work with.. Poor communication, software thats more costly on Devs to port from PC, and the sickening prices for games on the PSN.. The high prices for games years after launch.. It's by design.
I feel the same way, have had my ps5 since February. I have a decent PC so it's not a huge deal, but I'm sure if I had a Series X I'd be on it more than the PS.
Im a huge game jumper too 😅 so I love that you mentioned that as a pro! It’s still so hard to get the new gen consoles in my city, but I can’t decide when it’s worth upgrading for me since I can still play all the games I’m interested in on the One X 😩
Hi, great video, but the PS5 doesn't have any sort of quick resume. You can put the system into rest mode and then pick up from exactly where you left off straight away but you can't switch between games without restarting each one.
She may be referring to last played. There's an option to load directly into your previously played. This is useful for new games with almost no load time but it's meaningless with backwards compatible games. Quick resume is awesome but the feature actually uses more space within the OS and Sony already streamlined the its limited storage for speed within the board itself. Maybe they could implement it later utilizing expanded storage. Microsoft just them beat with ADD gamers. I tend to switch between systems more than game to game myself.

I have a Series X and a PS5, the PS5 does have a thing titled "Switcher" when you press the Playstation button on the remote that seamlessly let's you switch between games that you've played since you've turned the console on. But once you turn off the system, or put it into rest mode, it resets, & you have to restart the games again next time you turn the console on. Unlike Quick resume, which makes it so you can turn the system off 20 times and still just jump back into your games.
I have a ps5 got mine last week(im in UK) I payed retail for it I swapped to playstation because of the exclusives plus having a gaming pc as well I don't have a need for an xbox as I can get game pass on pc and I can play games with my brothers who are on xbox on my pc, plus a lot of games are doing crossplay nowadays so I have no reason to have a xbox, I'm glad you are loving your xbox and I hope people that have them enjoy them game on whatever platform you want we are gamers we all love video games so just enjoy them, I love my ps5 I love my pc and I am loving game pass on pc
I have a ps5, xbox series x and switch. its my first xbox ever and my first nintendo console since gamecube; zelda botw, smt5, xenoblade are great games. cant wait for horizon forbidden west, ragnarok, ff16, crimson desert, hogwartz and elden ring for my ps5. I’m pretty much in the same situation. I have PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Last year during covid lockdown I bought myself Xbox One X out of curiosity and I really liked it, so not even a year later I upgraded to Series X and I love it, what a great “consoller” :D I will definitely buy PS5 later as well once there is enough new games on it (so far none for me). Because I just love videogames and all three systems bring me a lot of joy :)
Can I make a suggestion for a feature you have missed.... I personally don't buy physical games anymore, so I cannot take advantage of this, but let's suppose you are out at the store and you have bought a physical copy of a game, what you can do is log onto the Xbox app on your phone, and start installing the game there and then, that way when you are home you can just put the disc inside the console and start playing the game straight away, without having to wait for it to install from a disc
I also love the jrpg niche so Playstation has always appealed more to me as well! I'm very happy the switch has grown to have more of them too🥰 I'll have those 2 and my husband will have the Xbox so we end up with them all anyway😂
No doubt. Its why while I still enjoy jrpgs I never felt compelled to get a Sony console since the PS2 because I'm fine with getting a couple every now and then like Xbox provides but for anyone who likes jrpgs or more niche Japanese games the PS or Nintendo is 100% the way to go.
I've been an Xbox Head since I was 11 when the Original XBOX first came out. I have an Xbox Series X and an Xbox 360 Slim. I preferably like Xbox better because it has a bigger game library and it has backwards compatibility. I do wish Playstation still had backwards compatibility, I don't know why Sony stopped that after PS3?. Xbox Game Pass is pretty cool, and the controller is just great and feels great. The Xbox had a lot of names, lol. *Fun Fact: The Original XBOX was originally going to be called "The DirectX Box."* SiriusX sounds like a good name for the Xbox Series X, I've played every Doom game since elementary school. Great video and vibe. Yet the Xbox is not fully backwards compatible. Games with licenses such as music or intellectual property will not work. Try to throw a copy of NCAA or some skateboarding games in there, as an example. No dice. The backwards compatibility is huge though and dwarf other systems. I'm probably going to he'll for this. I got my seriesX by "strongly coercing" a scalper. I work appliance repair. I'm all over the place fixing people's broken stuff. On this call my stars aligned. Pulled up to a service call. Walked into garage to work on LG washer. Saw to large stacks with blankets hastily thrown on them. Saw the ps5 and Xbox logo's peaking through. I lost my shit right there. It was everything in me to keep cool and not smash his face on sight.. There were 43 seriesX 24 seriesS among another almost equal pile of ps5's. He went inside and I calmly removed the blankets acting like nothing happened. I focused on the guys washer. He had no warranty because he bought on Grey market. My brain spinning in anger, rage and trying to spin this in a way it works for me. Find his problem. Main board is faulty. Yes, with a soldering iron I can fix it for pennies.. but not for this guy. I look up part at cost and it's 650$ and on back order till end of October.. we are in a chip shortage remember. I go to my truck act like I'm calling to find his part knowing full well I have one on board that I personally own that he NEEDS. I calm down, form my plan and go at him kamikaze. I calmly walk back tell him the news and tell him the truth that I have perhaps the only part readily available right now. I point at the scalped consoles and tell him you will sell to me at cost if you want your sh!t fixed. He loses it. I start packing my things up to leave applying pressure. As I get to my truck his wife runs out to stop me. I negotiated 4 X's at cost plus 3 's. I go to ATM get cash and come back. I select my units with money and their part in hand and we make the "trade". Yes he paid 850$ total.. i gave him no breaks in price. He was so angry but also scared.. he knows I know who he is now. They were all bought according to him through bot buying. So I have all these units. I'm keeping an X for myself and have already gave 2 s units to struggling people that deserve and will appreciate them. I'm holding the rest till Xmas time and will give them to people in my community that are struggling and deserving. He also admitted the scalping is widely happening that there are many more he knows working together doing this. Guys none of the retailers have did anything to stop this. I'm still pissed off
I have always played variety & owned variety of Consoles in the past, & experiences i had with those different brands of Consoles is something that i will never forget. Memories i cherish with friends i played in the past & good times we had , all came from variety of Sega , Nintendo, Atari , & PlayStation + Xbox. I'll go as far as Commodore 64 & Amiga 500 .
For the "why not PS5?" category there is a lot more than just "you can't get a PS5 atm". Theres Smart Delivery, Quick Resume, more storage, VRR support, VRS, Mesh shaders, more powerful GPU, fast CPU, 1440p support, smaller box, Bethesda exclusivity etc.
Totally agree with you on Microsoft’s terrible naming scheme!!! 🤘🏻... I wish I could refer to the first Xbox as an “Xbox 1” - but since “Xbox One” is the name of the 3rd gen console, I have to refer to the 1st gen as the “original Xbox” or “OG Xbox” or “1st gen Xbox.” All of them are a mouthful. Great systems, but awkward and confusing AF naming.

I just bought XSS and an external hdd. I own many games and.. From my xbox one era I have now 60 games from gold 100+ from game pass and 90 I think from EA...so, rn with the game pass ultimate (13€/month) I got more than 200 games to play. GP ultimate is the real deal imo. Totally deserves to own an Xbox for that reason
I feel like the Series X has a good chance of winning this console war. If they don't win, they at least took a major lead. Mostly because of the fact that it is available for people to buy. Granted not as available as it should be, but if you really try you can get one. PS5 just isn't unless you want to pay those asshole scalpers. The very same scalpers that scooped up all of the 30 series Nividia cards. Also having it be backwards compatible with every other generation of xbox is a major plus for me. I have quite a few 360 and OG xbx games that I would love to play again with updated graphics. Agree that the names of these consoles suck. Overall great video.
@DAVID they’re winning mind share which is worth way more as it moves players to the eco system and keeps them hooked. Specially being able to play even on your mobile, you’ll always have a way to get your games on.
Sony recently announced they now have parts to make many millions more. They also changed a couple hard to get parts in the original ps5 to more available parts. A much needed flood seems to be coming soon.
I have both and i just wanted to comment on quick resume. Ps5 has a app switcher. Which does let you swap games fast but it doesn't put you right where you left off like quick resume does. I just wanted to say that because quick resume is my favorite feature and i find myself playing more on Xbox this gen because my adhd likes to bounce around
It has to close your game and start another so you’d lose save. It’s no where as fast as quick resume and I’m still afraid to put ps5 in sleep mode after all the issues it had bricking peoples consoles :/
I'd trade all my XB1 discs for digital copies if there was a way. It would be so much more convenient for switching and quick-resume. I'm only a "casual" gamer really. Ok maybe a step-up from casual. I'll still buy discs sometimes too though, because the deals are too hard to turn down & I'm suckered in by the artwork on the covers! Not a fan boy of any, but I'm liking where XB is going with cloud gaming and think they'll make a stick or dongle, especially with instant cloud gaming on the horizon. I love the xbox series x I got mines launch day on Microsoft store. Games I have and will be playing are doom eternal, yakuza like a dragon, gears 5, ac Valhalla ect Games I'm looking forward to are halo infinite, crossfire x, ascent, scarlet nexus, eco mecha ect
Gamepass helped me try many games I would have never played,. I tried Guacamelee on Switch first and I didn’t like it, I then played it on Gamepass on a big screen and I liked it, which made me buy it digitally and physically again on Switch!! Gamepass also made me buy many XBOX Physical games! I finished Doom 2016 on Gamepass and I liked it a lot, so I bought the physical versions of Doom slayer edition and Doom Eternal Deluxe edition for XBOX I bought GTA V xbox physical version after playing it for the 1st time on Gamepass. The same for Oris, Rare Replays and Killer Instinct. Gamepass is an amazing service and the best deal in gaming today
I got an Xbox series S and I love it. My first Xbox since the 360. I love my switch so much, and I love my PS4, but after falling in love with the series S, I’m actually going to opt for the series X as my next console, not a PS5. And I’ve been a Sony guy since the PS1! PS: I also love JRPG’s and they are slowly arriving on Xbox and I also have my switch for that!

it may not have a huge jrpg list like sony but microsoft is actually getting better at fixing that before they didn't have much at all compared to whats on gamepass now they've actually been trying to expand in that genre i highly recommend lost odyssey it's an awesome jrpg that was was only on xbox for a long time. i like all brands, but I'm more of a xbox person. I love shooters... so this console has a lot of value for me.
So now you have two or three Xbox boxes. Never too many xboxes :- ) New tales game coming next month just fyi! Maybe you could shop a new tv stand that would fit all your consoles.
I’m late to this video but it’s wonderful to hear the astral chain music :) I didn’t use my series X much until I upgraded to a OLED TV with variable refresh rate. Games with HDR running at 120fps on an OLED display are incredible. I own dragons dogma but haven’t played it. After seeing it in this video I remembered that I own it and am installing it now. If only Ryza was on XBox. I’m looking forward to getting my switch OLED edition, will be great to have a good screen. PS Vita was way ahead of its time. At some point I’ll get a PS5. Scalper prices are coming down and even at scalper prices of < $900 are in my opinion better value than upgrading my graphics card as at least I’ll play the PS5 for several years.
I like how half your cons were on the naming of the console lol. I agree stupid names but not really a big deal. I also agree with the lack of JRPGs I wish they had more as well. But I have been a owner of a xbox series x since black friday around launch release and I have to say the console it self is a 10/10. Super good loading, amazing graphics, good performance, and any previous generation games you play will run better and look better.
The quick resume and backwards compatibility along with gamepass may actually convince me to finally buy an Xbox. If they ever made it portable I'd probably get it. I really want that steam deck though. I love PlayStation rpgs but most of the ones I care about get ported to switch and Nintendo is my favorite for variety and Portablity.
They can't be called PlayStation RPGs if they are third party games owned by other companies. PlayStation is now synonymous with PlayStation Studios. If the game is not first-party it can't be considered a PlayStation game. Sony Interactive Entertainment brand disappeared when PlayStation Studios replaced it. These smaller games are no longer locked to PlayStation to be exclusive. There is no reason for it. Ken Kutaragi's business model proved to be a failure in the end. Only games that now sells millions like mainline Persona or FF is what PlayStation keeps doing deals. Let alone Arc System Works they have acquired and will soon be announced.
I love my PS5, PC and Switch, I'm a big fan of niche JRPGs, which is what brought me Ircha Gaming, I'll be picking up a Series X when there are more worthy exclusives on Gamepass though, Avowed, Outer World's 2, Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield, Halo Infinite, anything id Software do, Stalker 2, Hellblade 2, Fable 4 etc, very excited to see what Microsoft churn out this gen. I did not get on with the One series of consoles, they gathered dust in my house but think this generation will be Microsoft's. THEY JUST NEED MORE JRPGS!!!

They are not all compatible but they are constantly working on making more games available for it.
It's not fully backward compatible with every game in the catalog, they have a list of all supported titles on the website

U didn't talk about fps boost and auto hdr making older games run way better than on ps5

Went for series x myself this generation and it's amazing so far. Love the upscale for older games they have and that I can use the older controllers as well and in general how they treat the older generations with this :) also great video

I 100% agree with you the next system I'm getting is the one you have in the video. I have a PS3, PS4, switch and Xbox 360. I'm tired of my PS4 and PS3 not being backwards compatible. So I'll be getting that series X soon. Thanks for the honest opinion

The Series X is such a great console right now. My backlog is massive and I've been playing a lot of games that have been benefiting from the hardware and upgrades. Quick resume has really spoiled me too.
The Xbox One was a trainwreck, but the Series X has definitely made me glad I stuck with it since I can take my entire library with me and just keep gaming like I always have but with next gen benefits.
And while I personally don't need Gamepass, it's an undeniably great service for consumers. Xbox really does offer the most bang for your buck.
@Rubicon 1 Definitely. One of the first games I tried was Gears 5 and I immediately felt the difference. So much more responsive and fluid, and it already felt that way on the One X. The graphics are even more stunning too.
I also tested out Resident Evil 2 and I was able to jump between saves in mere seconds and finished up some challenges I gave up on due to how much they required restarting and waiting for the game to reload. And I did this all while I was playing Red Dead Redemption II, which I played for a few months straight, and never once had to reload the game. Just kept jumping back in with quick resume.
I really hope these seamless game generations become the norm moving forward. Xbox has really dedicated themselves to it and it feels great just looking at my 100+ library of games and knowing they can all be played on one machine.

Good news about Xbox in regards to Japanese games, is that they've been drastically expanding and making an effort to work with Japanese developers to get more Japanese support.
The original Xbox was a flop in Japan and the brand has been quite non-existent there since. But ever since Phil Spencer took over, Xbox has games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Yakuza, Nier, and so much more they wouldn't have gotten before. They've definitely been making the right moves.
And we know japanese developers are Talented AF
I really hope all this Japanese support continues. JRPGs are actually pretty much what I only play on my One X (still waiting on Series X availability).

Ive had a PS5 since Dec 22nd.. I think I'd prefer the Series X.
The only thing that stopped me from getting the Series X over PS5, was the fact that I have hundreds of game already on PlayStation.
As of right now, I believe the Series X is the better purchase for gamers. Looking at Game Pass and gamer points you get just for playing games on your Xbox.
Xbox is more consumer friendly. Sony is greedy and mostly out of touch.
I keep hearing from developers that Sony is difficult to work with.. Poor communication, software thats more costly on Devs to port from PC, and the sickening prices for games on the PSN..
The high prices for games years after launch.. It's by design.
I feel the same way, have had my ps5 since February. I have a decent PC so it's not a huge deal, but I'm sure if I had a Series X I'd be on it more than the PS.
You can play most Nintendo games you can play PS1 PS2 games on your Xbox through emulation...
As well as OG Xbox/ 360/ Xbox One and Xbox series games.

Hi, great video, but the PS5 doesn't have any sort of quick resume. You can put the system into rest mode and then pick up from exactly where you left off straight away but you can't switch between games without restarting each one.
She may be referring to last played. There's an option to load directly into your previously played. This is useful for new games with almost no load time but it's meaningless with backwards compatible games. Quick resume is awesome but the feature actually uses more space within the OS and Sony already streamlined the its limited storage for speed within the board itself. Maybe they could implement it later utilizing expanded storage. Microsoft just them beat with ADD gamers. I tend to switch between systems more than game to game myself.

I have a Series X and a PS5, the PS5 does have a thing titled "Switcher" when you press the Playstation button on the remote that seamlessly let's you switch between games that you've played since you've turned the console on. But once you turn off the system, or put it into rest mode, it resets, & you have to restart the games again next time you turn the console on. Unlike Quick resume, which makes it so you can turn the system off 20 times and still just jump back into your games.
I have a ps5 got mine last week(im in UK) I payed retail for it I swapped to playstation because of the exclusives plus having a gaming pc as well I don't have a need for an xbox as I can get game pass on pc and I can play games with my brothers who are on xbox on my pc, plus a lot of games are doing crossplay nowadays so I have no reason to have a xbox, I'm glad you are loving your xbox and I hope people that have them enjoy them game on whatever platform you want we are gamers we all love video games so just enjoy them, I love my ps5 I love my pc and I am loving game pass on pc

I’m pretty much in the same situation. I have PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Last year during covid lockdown I bought myself Xbox One X out of curiosity and I really liked it, so not even a year later I upgraded to Series X and I love it, what a great “consoller” :D I will definitely buy PS5 later as well once there is enough new games on it (so far none for me). Because I just love videogames and all three systems bring me a lot of joy :)

Can I make a suggestion for a feature you have missed.... I personally don't buy physical games anymore, so I cannot take advantage of this, but let's suppose you are out at the store and you have bought a physical copy of a game, what you can do is log onto the Xbox app on your phone, and start installing the game there and then, that way when you are home you can just put the disc inside the console and start playing the game straight away, without having to wait for it to install from a disc

Its why while I still enjoy jrpgs I never felt compelled to get a Sony console since the PS2 because I'm fine with getting a couple every now and then like Xbox provides but for anyone who likes jrpgs or more niche Japanese games the PS or Nintendo is 100% the way to go.

I've been an Xbox Head since I was 11 when the Original XBOX first came out.
I have an Xbox Series X and an Xbox 360 Slim. I preferably like Xbox better because it has a bigger game library and it has backwards compatibility.
I do wish Playstation still had backwards compatibility, I don't know why Sony stopped that after PS3?.
Xbox Game Pass is pretty cool, and the controller is just great and feels great. The Xbox had a lot of names, lol.

Great video and vibe. Yet the Xbox is not fully backwards compatible. Games with licenses such as music or intellectual property will not work. Try to throw a copy of NCAA or some skateboarding games in there, as an example. No dice. The backwards compatibility is huge though and dwarf other systems. Looking forward to your pros and cons on PS5

I'm probably going to he'll for this. I got my seriesX by "strongly coercing" a scalper. I work appliance repair. I'm all over the place fixing people's broken stuff. On this call my stars aligned.
Pulled up to a service call. Walked into garage to work on LG washer. Saw to large stacks with blankets hastily thrown on them. Saw the ps5 and Xbox logo's peaking through.
I lost my shit right there. It was everything in me to keep cool and not smash his face on sight.. There were 43 seriesX 24 seriesS among another almost equal pile of ps5's. He went inside and I calmly removed the blankets acting like nothing happened.
I focused on the guys washer. He had no warranty because he bought on Grey market. My brain spinning in anger, rage and trying to spin this in a way it works for me.
Find his problem. Main board is faulty. Yes, with a soldering iron I can fix it for pennies.. but not for this guy. I look up part at cost and it's 650$ and on back order till end of October.. we are in a chip shortage remember.
I go to my truck act like I'm calling to find his part knowing full well I have one on board that I personally own that he NEEDS. I calm down, form my plan and go at him kamikaze.
I calmly walk back tell him the news and tell him the truth that I have perhaps the only part readily available right now.
I point at the scalped consoles and tell him you will sell to me at cost if you want your sh!t fixed. He loses it. I start packing my things up to leave applying pressure.
As I get to my truck his wife runs out to stop me. I negotiated 4 X's at cost plus 3 's. I go to ATM get cash and come back. I select my units with money and their part in hand and we make the "trade". Yes he paid 850$ total.. i gave him no breaks in price. He was so angry but also scared.. he knows I know who he is now. They were all bought according to him through bot buying.
So I have all these units. I'm keeping an X for myself and have already gave 2 s units to struggling people that deserve and will appreciate them. I'm holding the rest till Xmas time and will give them to people in my community that are struggling and deserving.
He also admitted the scalping is widely happening that there are many more he knows working together doing this. Guys none of the retailers have did anything to stop this. I'm still pissed off
I have always played variety & owned variety of Consoles in the past, & experiences i had with those different brands of Consoles is something that i will never forget. Memories i cherish with friends i played in the past & good times we had , all came from variety of Sega , Nintendo, Atari , & PlayStation + Xbox. I'll go as far as Commodore 64 & Amiga 500 .
For the "why not PS5?" category there is a lot more than just "you can't get a PS5 atm". Theres Smart Delivery, Quick Resume, more storage, VRR support, VRS, Mesh shaders, more powerful GPU, fast CPU, 1440p support, smaller box, Bethesda exclusivity etc.

Totally agree with you on Microsoft’s terrible naming scheme!!! 🤘🏻... I wish I could refer to the first Xbox as an “Xbox 1” - but since “Xbox One” is the name of the 3rd gen console, I have to refer to the 1st gen as the “original Xbox” or “OG Xbox” or “1st gen Xbox.” All of them are a mouthful. Great systems, but awkward and confusing AF naming.

I just want to turn mine on and off and on and off and on and off just to hear that happy little noise. It brings happiness. It is the best noise. I will have that noise playing at my funeral. Really excellent noise. Ok.

I just bought XSS and an external hdd. I own many games and.. From my xbox one era I have now 60 games from gold 100+ from game pass and 90 I think from EA...so, rn with the game pass ultimate (13€/month) I got more than 200 games to play. GP ultimate is the real deal imo. Totally deserves to own an Xbox for that reason

I feel like the Series X has a good chance of winning this console war. If they don't win, they at least took a major lead. Mostly because of the fact that it is available for people to buy. Granted not as available as it should be, but if you really try you can get one. PS5 just isn't unless you want to pay those asshole scalpers. The very same scalpers that scooped up all of the 30 series Nividia cards. Also having it be backwards compatible with every other generation of xbox is a major plus for me. I have quite a few 360 and OG xbx games that I would love to play again with updated graphics. Agree that the names of these consoles suck. Overall great video.

Sony recently announced they now have parts to make many millions more. They also changed a couple hard to get parts in the original ps5 to more available parts. A much needed flood seems to be coming soon.

I have both and i just wanted to comment on quick resume. Ps5 has a app switcher. Which does let you swap games fast but it doesn't put you right where you left off like quick resume does.
I just wanted to say that because quick resume is my favorite feature and i find myself playing more on Xbox this gen because my adhd likes to bounce around
It has to close your game and start another so you’d lose save. It’s no where as fast as quick resume and I’m still afraid to put ps5 in sleep mode after all the issues it had bricking peoples consoles :/

I'll still buy discs sometimes too though, because the deals are too hard to turn down & I'm suckered in by the artwork on the covers!
Not a fan boy of any, but I'm liking where XB is going with cloud gaming and think they'll make a stick or dongle, especially with instant cloud gaming on the horizon.

That’s what they want though. We need our disc and cant kill the 2nd hand market. I love my physical collection. I have so many old ps2 games now worth money. Also today I bought a brand new copy of elden ring for $35 today on eBay.
I love the xbox series x I got mines launch day on Microsoft store. Games I have and will be playing are doom eternal, yakuza like a dragon, gears 5, ac Valhalla ect
Games I'm looking forward to are halo infinite, crossfire x, ascent, scarlet nexus, eco mecha ect

Gamepass helped me try many games I would have never played,.
I tried Guacamelee on Switch first and I didn’t like it, I then played it on Gamepass on a big screen and I liked it, which made me buy it digitally and physically again on Switch!!
Gamepass also made me buy many XBOX Physical games! I finished Doom 2016 on Gamepass and I liked it a lot, so I bought the physical versions of Doom slayer edition and Doom Eternal Deluxe edition for XBOX
I bought GTA V xbox physical version after playing it for the 1st time on Gamepass. The same for Oris, Rare Replays and Killer Instinct.
Gamepass is an amazing service and the best deal in gaming today
I got an Xbox series S and I love it. My first Xbox since the 360. I love my switch so much, and I love my PS4, but after falling in love with the series S, I’m actually going to opt for the series X as my next console, not a PS5. And I’ve been a Sony guy since the PS1! PS: I also love JRPG’s and they are slowly arriving on Xbox and I also have my switch for that!

it may not have a huge jrpg list like sony but microsoft is actually getting better at fixing that before they didn't have much at all compared to whats on gamepass now they've actually been trying to expand in that genre i highly recommend lost odyssey it's an awesome jrpg that was was only on xbox for a long time. i like all brands, but I'm more of a xbox person. I love shooters... so this console has a lot of value for me.

I didn’t use my series X much until I upgraded to a OLED TV with variable refresh rate. Games with HDR running at 120fps on an OLED display are incredible.
I own dragons dogma but haven’t played it. After seeing it in this video I remembered that I own it and am installing it now.

At some point I’ll get a PS5. Scalper prices are coming down and even at scalper prices of < $900 are in my opinion better value than upgrading my graphics card as at least I’ll play the PS5 for several years.
I like how half your cons were on the naming of the console lol. I agree stupid names but not really a big deal. I also agree with the lack of JRPGs I wish they had more as well. But I have been a owner of a xbox series x since black friday around launch release and I have to say the console it self is a 10/10. Super good loading, amazing graphics, good performance, and any previous generation games you play will run better and look better.

Sonic Generations runs in 4K 60fps on Xbox Series X and it is AMAZING! One of the best Sonic games ever made. It's a must play.

The quick resume and backwards compatibility along with gamepass may actually convince me to finally buy an Xbox. If they ever made it portable I'd probably get it. I really want that steam deck though. I love PlayStation rpgs but most of the ones I care about get ported to switch and Nintendo is my favorite for variety and Portablity.
They can't be called PlayStation RPGs if they are third party games owned by other companies.
PlayStation is now synonymous with PlayStation Studios. If the game is not first-party it can't be considered a PlayStation game. Sony Interactive Entertainment brand disappeared when PlayStation Studios replaced it.
These smaller games are no longer locked to PlayStation to be exclusive. There is no reason for it. Ken Kutaragi's business model proved to be a failure in the end.
Only games that now sells millions like mainline Persona or FF is what PlayStation keeps doing deals. Let alone Arc System Works they have acquired and will soon be announced.

I love my PS5, PC and Switch, I'm a big fan of niche JRPGs, which is what brought me Ircha Gaming, I'll be picking up a Series X when there are more worthy exclusives on Gamepass though, Avowed, Outer World's 2, Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield, Halo Infinite, anything id Software do, Stalker 2, Hellblade 2, Fable 4 etc, very excited to see what Microsoft churn out this gen.
I did not get on with the One series of consoles, they gathered dust in my house but think this generation will be Microsoft's.
