@123shoshan They also picked up Saquon, who is an upgrade from Swift. Kelce is a huge loss regardless. Fletcher's production is replaced by Davis and Carter, which is better IMO. And Hasaan disappeared in the last 7 games and is sniffing 30 years old. We're replacing them with younger players who can develop into studs. Howie can still make 1 or 2 huge signings with the 40 Mil we have left in cap space. It's Howie season, so don't sleep on the fact we lost a couple older players.

Steelers won, they improved QB, lost on Wr but still can draft a solid Wr 2-3, improved on OC And running backs, improved on the “inconsistent defense” whom were injured the whole season with all their starters nearly injured, and also our defense is not inconsistent, it was a top 15 while having literal practice squad and being on field for more than half the game.

I guess the Chargers were bigger winners than the Steelers according to this video. I guess getting an improvement at the QB position and signing studs like Patrick Queen is worse than giving up your entire receiving lineup and barely doing anything in free agency. Do I have that right. The point is how do you acknowledge the Steelers as losers, but also forgetting to acknowledge the fact that the Chargers were big losers.

The Steelers have had one of the BEST free agency in history! They totally redid the QB room! Signing Russell Wilson to the league minimum of $1.2 million and then getting Justin Fields for a 6th round pick is crazy! Stealing Patrick Queen from Baltimore was GOLD! DeSean Elliot will let Fitzpatrick be the player he can be. Donte Jackson will be a nice addition at cornerback. Dean Lowery will be a big addition to the defensive line. The Steelers are clear WINNERS this off season and the draft hasn’t even happened yet! Put the crack pipe down guys.
Honorable Mention the Jets by improving the Offense especially the O-Line and the wide receiver corps and the scary defense has gotten even scarier especially the Hasson Reddick trade to compensate the loss of Bryce Huff through free agency and WHEN they stay healthy and excel big time they'll definitely wreak havoc for a long time

Me: How? He's literally a 1 year vet minimum and he proved last year that he still able to play at a high level. If anything that's the lowest risk with the highest reward you could get. If anything I'd say the Steelers are a winner this offseason and then they acquired Fields who showed a massive improvement last year and is willing to sit 1 year and learn from Wilson and then be able to take over next year

I agree with your second point, but we have been consistently mid. I don’t have any pride in our team for keeping a winning season it’s embarrassing to flex that. Football isn’t about keeping weaning season streaks, it’s about getting better year after year and making further. We haven’t won a playoff game in God knows how long and I couldn’t care less if we somehow pull off a winning season if we just lose badly every single year in the playoffs that winning record doesn’t mean shit if we just lose in the wildcard

Yea losing Barkley to the eagles hurts like shit but at the same time Philly def overpaid for him and honestly we didn't even offer him shit. Plus we got Brian Burns for what I want to honestly say as a steal almost, like honestly giving up just a second and fifth so he can join Dexy and Kayvon on that D-line is awesome. Then we signed some o-line help since we could desperately use it. After that we got a solid backup with Drew Lock, and a solid rb in Devin Singletary. I personally think we're going receiver in the draft mainly because we use one, and honestly if DJ has another crappy season we can literally just cut him or trade him without having to owe him any money since we only owe him for 2 years. You honestly can't lie and say the giants haven't been making moves.

This list lost all credibility when they had the Panthers and Steelers as losers. Panthers fan bias here. But we signed two strong OGs for the line when we had the worst OG play of the whole season and it wasn’t even close. While losing potential value for the Burns trade was an L, we did use up the cap space that saved us to bring in 4 new starters on D which includes Clowney. All even before locking up Derrick Brown. Luvu was great for us but not worth what he got from Washington.
In my opinion, the commanders are winners in free agency. Adam Peters has been doing great.
