First year that we don't have season passes in a long time.😥 Glad you came to Arkansas man. The log ride was open last year so not sure why it's not going. Arkansas Twister is our favorite. I hope it lasts through this pandemic. Thanks for reviewing our home park.
I've worked there and it's gained and lost a few rides in the last few years. The splash island, sky shark and chill zone are closed for protection due the the Covid. Log was down that day for deep cleaning. My family was there that day because I seen my kids in the wave pool area. My black bathing was hard to miss. Season pass is worth it.
We go every year for the Halloween Decor!! Extra fun activities for the grandkids, we love it!!!
6:26 ok yeah this is the one part of that park I've been trying to remember for years. I remember when I came to the park as a little kid, I was looking up at all of that like it was the best invention in the world
Ranking Magic Springs coasters worst to best (my opinion):
5. Diamond Mine Run
4. Big Bad John
3. X Coaster
2. Gauntlet
1. Arkansas Twister
Bro the Arkansas twister is scary
Great video! Very descriptive. Gauntlet, and Xcoaster look pretty awesome! Wooden ones looked cool too!
Good review guys. And glad to see you guys aren't scared to get out and live your lives.
I visited in late June. Brain Drain and Hawk were running, but the log flume was still drained.
Forgot about the COVID-19 part....It has NOT gone away yet.
Great video! Loved the Centaur part of the video! I actually laughed out loud!
River King Runaway Mine Train @ Six Flags St.Louis ! ! ! ! ! ! I grew up riding that thing dozens of times each summer. HAHAHA
4:30 so true. The wildwood slc is crazy smooth now
This park is in a beautiful setting in the Ouachita Mountains, and there's lots of greenery and trees in the park, but there's also a lot of walking up hills. It's a very hilly park, so be ready for a workout, especially when it's hot, and it's almost always hot and humid in the summer there. Also, it's a small park, it's not Six Flags, so don't expect Six Flags lol.
Correction : It's like Frontier City six flags without the membership benefits and yall have better rides. Source: FC is my home park.
AND it NEVER will be...."Justin". However, it is (at present), the ONLY water park/amusement park IN Arkansas.
Nice video. Love when you show off merchandise
The one part of the water park that wasn't open is called Splash Island. I think it is just closed this year because of the pandemic. I have been coming to Magic Springs for 5 years and it has been opened every year except 2020. It is my children's favorite attraction. The staff told me it is just too hard to socially distance so it wouldn't be open this year.
MAY NOT be any better NEXT year....the VIRUS is an "EQUAL" opportunity "infection". However, there IS progress on the VACCINE. Wait & see.
The reason so much was closed wasn't due to mechanical or maintenance issues but due to staffing issues
The summit plummet now makes a bigger splash than you see in this video!
6:24 it was own in like what
2015 cuz i went there in work when i was a kid. VERY FUN i loved it when my parents took us here
The part that was closed was the whole kid section of the water park.
This looks like a nice park to visit. But like Alabama Adventure, I think I'll wait a few years until they add something big next.
I’ve been going to the park since I was a child in the 80’s. They sure have changed a lot!! It used to be huge and had beautiful landscaping. There used to be a giant Ferris wheel 🎡 right in the front. The fountain used to be on full blast with beautiful flowers all around it. It’s really sad. I bought season tickets about 4 years ago. It was okay but whoever is running it now has just let it go downhill. I’m sure the pandemic didn’t help.
That X coaster is known to get stuck a lot. That's why I've never ridden it lol
This looks like a nice quaint park.
I go every summer but the fun has declined. As you seen there is hardly anything to ride. Rides are always shut down. The rides also need some repairs. It's kind of getting scary to ride them when you look down and see all the rust lol.
Then, you'll just have to "deal with it"....OR spend EVEN more $$$$ to go OUT of the State.
@@Robby4291 Yeah, obviously.
I’ve been there
I’m going down to Six Flags Over Texas and Fiesta on Memorial Day for week. My original plan was to stop at Six Flags Frontier City on way back to Minnesota. Which is a better park for for few hrs? I’m driving from Fiesta to Frontier City is 7hrs or Magic Springs is 10hrs check in hotel sleep till 10am opens 11. Between the two which park would you recommend mend? I watch your review videos helps for going to new parks first time Thanks
I would probably take Frontier City over Magic Springs
How does Magic Springs compare to Silver Dollar City? I live in Springdale.... I've been to Silver Dollar City a few times. I heard you reference Tempesto @ Busch Gardens. I'm from Newport News.
Silver Dollar City is a much bigger and better park
From greenbrier, sdc is much better
Remove: Log Flume, Plummet Summit, Arkansas Twister (possibly, it's the only dry ride over there so I could see it going away sooner than the other coasters and focus on water park additions up that way)
Add: Vekoma Launch coaster, Intimin Water Coaster or S&S Free Spin, I'd add Timberliners to Arkansas Twister if I wanted to keep it long term, more flat rides (Mostly Zamperla)
Shot in the dark: Used B&M (2 of their coasters were relocations so its not out of the realm of possibility)
Keep the remaining line-up as is
PROVIDE the $$$$, for it ...know-it-all. TALK is always "cheap".....but the BEER is never "truly" free.
Hi Legend 🧔🏻
The gauntlet is so rough lol
Most "thrill" rides ARE....by their very NATURE.
I remember riding the wooden coaster, arkansas tornado, it was my first ride of the day, and it shook so bad that I had a headache the rest of the day, it ruined my day.
Is this place open in the winter?
I don’t believe so
Are yall still in Hot Springs?
no he is not
We are not, filmed this last month. Fun town
Honestly maybe Disney World is way better but at least the lines are a little shorter there
Don't work here I was a lifeguard here this year and worked many of the guards I trained with all quite. I trained in May and left in August. Y'all almost got me in the shot I was about to laugh, I was under the rope bridge. If anyone is wanting to work at Magic Springs I would advise not to.
Your reviews are too nice. You don't talk about the negative aspects of the park. I've read so many bad reviews about this park accept yours.
I try to make my reviews honest, had a fun time at the park, didn’t neglect to talk about all the closed rides or anything.
BE specific...griping IS the EASY part. "Angry B!tch".
Ngl it’s a good park even nowadays
This park sucks when compared to the Magic Springs of the 80's
I am not super familiar with the parks history. What made it better back then?
I hated this theme park especially after going to six flags magic mountain. It’s boring
