    Thank God I watched this video and now understand the fish as EXCHANGE. I always find it hard to interpret this in a love question. So this is basically a positive card as i understand.

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem

      Yes, the Fish is considered to be a positive card. It's the card of abundance, increase, value, and flow. Because a card has a positive core value doesn't mean that it will always offer a favorable answer to your question. For example, if you're asking what type of relationship the man you're dating wants- and what you want is a monogamous relationship - but you draw the Clover -Garden - Fish, these cards are all rather positive in general and are positive cards for the man you're asking about, but for you, they aren't very positive because they tell you that he's playing the field - exchanging with many - floating along independently and unrestrained. All you need to know is what all the cards mean and then match them to your exact question. All of this information is in my first book: www.amazon.com/Petit-Lenormand-Oracle-Comprehensive-Century/dp/1098359704/

    This is such a good explanation of how to ask questions. I heard a dowsing teacher explain that if you ask “Is there water under where I am standing?” You will most likely get a “yes” because the ground under you goes all the way to the other side of the world and chances are there is going to be water at some point there. Better to ask “Is there water between 3 and 6 meters below where I am standing?”

      Thank you and you’re so right about the dowsing questions. I learned dowsing before I got into cards so that might be why I came to cards with an intense desire to formulate perfect questions. Just think of those dowsing questions and you’ll come up with great card questions!

    Hello Lisa, first of all thank you for sharing your knowledge about Lenormand cards. I wanted to ask just a quick question: a few days ago I made a yes/no question to the cards, and I got three neutral ones (the ship, the crossroads, the tower). I try to use the interpretation method you suggested (I'm a newbie to the cards, by the way), but I wonder if you had some thoughts you could share on this one. Thank you in advance!

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello Stahlreaper. Thanks for being here. Several possibilities. Lack of focus. Lack of a clear intention as to how you'll interpret the cards. The answer is a maybe or something you're not meant to know right now. My personal method for yes/no questions is to read the cards as I do for any other spread rather than base the answer on positive and negative cards. Does that help?

  • @purplemoon3816
    @purplemoon3816 Před 3 lety

    So if I understand you well the first card gives you the answer and the others give you the why. Some people I believe take the last card as the answer.

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +3

      I don't think any single card is giving you the answer. If you're using a cartomantic method, you're taking an average. If you're laying a line of cards, you're interpreting the line. Because the flow of energy moves from left to right, the last card has the final say, but without the other cards, you won't get the complete picture. Think of it this way, if you're relying on a single card for your answer, why are you drawing more than one? Lenormand is a system that depends on groups of cards, unlike tarot, which can easily be read using single cards. Does that make sense?

  • @laurie-annesalvino7960

    Hello Lisa. I have done well with your pyramid yes/no layout. Would you do a video on it? I would like to know when the top card is neutral, do you base the answer on the nuances of the other cards or does it mean the answer is not yet known?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Laurie-Anne. Thank you for a great video idea! I haven't used a pyramid in a long time and I think a lot of people will enjoy it. The shape is helpful for following the progression of the story. As for your question, this is exactly why I try to steer people away from asking yes/no questions - because they're linear when life is multi-dimensional. Most situations that people consult the cards for involve many shades of gray - a lot of "it will go this way if you X and that way if you Y". That's why you really want to let all the cards speak - to get the full story. When the summit card is completely neutral it's telling you to examine the story told by the other cards.

    Hai Lisa, do I understand correctly; I can choose to only look at the 2 colors (red for yes and black for no) or I can choose only to look at positive / negative / neutral cards?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety

      You can, but I don't recommend it. Lenormand wants to speak! I mention it because it's popular and the way most people in the practice groups are trying to do it. I was trying to point out that it's only suitable for the simplest of questions - those where there's really no possibility for a neutral or yes-if or no-if type of answer. As I say in the video, my method is to interpret the cards.

    Lisa, i tried this and the question was will he send me a message? Result: bouquet - ship - anchor.
    Bouquet is something nice, a gift.
    Ship is long distance (he lives far away) or could mean long waiting. (or both)
    But what about the last card? I would say No because it is stuck?
    But then again, if it was all negative I would’ve got the bouquet?
    I hope to hear your opinion about this.
    Anchor i find always hard.

    • @radar4536
      @radar4536 Před rokem

      Thinking about it it could mean stability will come after he sends the message? Like in contact which is unstable..

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem

      I want you to look at every card spread as a story - like reading a comic strip. The Bouquet represents something pleasant that's offered to you - in this case, it can represent a message (though flowers or a gift would be even better!). The next card is the Ship that is heading to port (Anchor) and represents a journey coming to an end. The Ship travels slowly and represents traveling a great distance (unlike the Rider who travels short distances), so it tells you that something will take a while. The Anchor is also a slow card because whatever you're asking about is "anchored" and not moving at the moment. Does that make sense?

    • @radar4536
      @radar4536 Před rokem +1

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 I didn’t know bouquet 💐 could also mean message. And you say rider is short distance. Well i got that card for a package i send far away, but tu en again it is going fast so context is indeed everything! And I could think myself as ship heading to port (you’re talented, Lisa) and yes this is stuck (no communication for months now) but still not sure about the answer for my question.. Like i would say negative now, but then i don’t know why the flowers where there. So i am confused to be honest. Time will tell.

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem

      @@radar4536 The Bouquet doesn't refer to a message, but something pleasant that's offered. It's generally something that's a pleasant surprise and/or something offered in gratitude or appreciation. The Bouquet also asks you to appreciate the simple things in life - take time to smell the roses. It lightens-up the spread. You asked if he'll send you a message and I'd read that line as, I'll be pleasantly surprised when I receive a message from him though it will take a while before I get it.

      @@radar4536 You asked a question under the first core video but it didn't post, so I'll answer it here. Card #29 is always the primary lady in the reading, not the other lady. In order to be the "other" lady, there must be a primary lady, yes? The other lady is typically represented by the Snake card (queen of clubs).
