That is the worst thing in Pearl Abbyss games, the excessive use of particles, blurr effect and camera shake in battles.

@@xavierabii548well black desert online (mmo) is their biggest and some classes in this game are really too much when it comes to particles and everything. But u can turn off motion blur, camera shake, etc completely except particles, u can just decrease that to ~30%. Obviously there are other solutions outside of the game with Nvidia settings and so

@@michaelmurray6500 Wdym? BDO looks phenomenal for a game made in 2014, almost 10 years from now. If anything, drawing from BDO, all of this seems plausible considering what they managed to do with BDO at the time.
Bro horses in this game are UNITS! Dude used his horse as a battering ram to hit enemies, then uses his horse as a catapult to fling himself into the air... not to mention the 90 degree turn at full sprint!! LOL This is insane. And I'm here for it!
I'm really invested to know more about that shadow form he turns into that can fly... Looks dope!!
how they work in black desert online! the 90 degree turn is "drifting" an ability you can get on them that gives a speed boost that you combo with instant accel. same with the charging its hilarious but so fun!

yeah, takes ideas from some of my favorite games… i get vibes of Kingdom Come, Red Dead 2, Witcher 3, Zelda TotK… but imdont mind if some may say they borrow ideas from other games, Skyrim oder SoulsSeries also didnt to anything new / revolutionary that hasnt been done before

If this is the only “problem” with crimson desert then the game should be great! Especially with black desert story telling.
@@IRON_KING_KNIGHT Nothing, i dont say that have something wrong with the combat.
My only issue with the combat is that the camera is very shaky/jittery sometimes and kinda hurts my eyes. Maybe when actually playing in-game it will be fine though.

@@bamboo9666 if you was talking about DA, yes they looks alike. Cuz it's the same studio. But in terms of graphics, CD, is far more detailed than BDO since it's using UE5. That's what I was implying.

I see a lot of old footage though. This is so much of a high lights reel that I'm extremely apprehensive. This might not even be a game, but merely an "idea" of a game. Hope I'm wrong, more competition is always better.

Most of the stuff is just from black desert online or ideas they wanted to put into it but didn't. so I'm pretty sure the game will be like this, this company is really good at making awesome worlds.

I was literally like "That horse turn was just like Black Desert" and then Pearl Abyss shows up on screen and I lost it, loved Black Desert, cool to see they're just sticking with the same naming idea, def going to pick this one up.

This is what we call a distinctive, fun and unique game. We have not touched on unique games this period. Most of the games are similar to each other without beautiful graphics. The first way to play is fun. We missed the feeling. I hope this game will live up to expectations.

Looks amazing, the only thing is that seems too much particles like dust, leaves, snowflakes flying around all the time unnecessarily. I mean looks amazing but sometimes I would prefer focus to other aspects of scene. (No worries, I think that the rest of things are awesome, I can't wait to play it 😊)

Well, it definitely gets top marks for ambition, and the technology looks very impressive, but if we've learned anything from Forspoken, it's that if your writing, acting and storytelling aren't up to scratch you're screwed regardless of other factors.
Let's hope Crimson Desert avoids the same mistakes.

- Optimization work in progress. Since it is being released on all PC/console platforms, we are working on optimization. A lot of people ask whether there may be additional delays in the future due to the addition of new content or changes to the story line, but that is not the case. We are working on optimization. It is correct to say that the production of the game has been completed.
- Release date is 1H25. However, marketing is carried out 6 months to 1 year before release.

im so ready for this game, I am REALLY hoping it's not a disappointment...
Personally my biggest gripe with BDO aside from the currency BS and notification overload was the choppy loading of assets and objects just popping into existence, always believed the games visuals would have been better suited to a single player open world instead.

The game looks amazing.. but I'm concerned by the frame stuttering during almost all the combat scenes considering this will have been the captured using what the dev considers the ideal hardware to run the game.
Oh, we can visit the land of the morning light in this game as well.. curious on how it will be connected to the current black desert stories.. even the boss in black desert is still human and alive in this trailer.
