My goodness young lady you are so on the ball with your comments I think all filipinas should watch this video, I have been in the Philippines almost 40 years and because i do the immigration work for these couples, I see the kinds of men you refer to every day, I get the guys that come saying how rich they are and then 6 months down the road when we have to do the affidavit of support for USCIS we find that the guy works at McDonalds flipping burgers and is no way qualified to sponsor a wife or fiancee. Every word that you said in this video is 100% and I could not have said it better myself. you are a remarkable young lady.

May every young local watch this. Sadly, there are so many predator expats who think only with their small head. As a man planning to retire to sth-east Asia my peeve is the grumpy expat retirees who want to cherry-pick all the perks of the Phillippines while demanding their western comforts and grumbling about what they miss from the country they chose to leave! Assimilate, learn the language and culture and adapt to the country that has welcomed you, grumpy old farangs. 😉

Hello Pea! I am an expat and I have another misbehaving foreigner I witnessed in person. The 'pastor' expat. Because I have been Christian raised, (my Grand father was even a minister in his local community), I began a conversation with a German expat who was thumping his Bible to the locals like Paul Bunyan whacks a log. No problem ...except he was using this to pry money from the local churches. Blood from a rock, not very much cash to get.
He was married to a Philippina who had his child. She also worked and supported both their child and him, and herself. Tough lady! But eventually she wised up with him taking her hard earned money from her and left him. Eventually he was evicted and lived on the streets, picking up odd meals at local churches and sometimes sleeping quarters. However, because he was also trying to convert the church people to 'his church' eventually he ran out of churches who would allow him in. Heard that from a local church near my home. I bought groceries for him a couple times, but one day when he was feeling his oats, he told me he intended to find another pretty Filipino girl for love and entertainment because of his dashing German ways. (My words not his, but I knew his previous pattern) I challenged him face to face because God tells me to say what needs to be said, damn the torpedoes. He split and never spoke to me again. My food gift came with a price too high for him to pay. I am not a minister. I speak my mind. No collection plate to protect.
But, his behavior got around locally, his Visa was expired, and the local government stepped in and deported him. He always said he would never go back to Germany because he loved the Philippines so much. My guess is, there was a warrant awaiting him there, based on my Law enforcement experience. Just my opinion though.
.Because the Philippine people are so much against abortion, I am so much in Love with the Philippine nation for that and many other reasons! And I hope and pray that someday I can help the Philippine nation improve life for Her people!
    God bless you Pea!

Another great video Pea! After 2,5 year in Thailand i recognize most of these guys you mention. But there are a lot of good guys too. I never mingle with the oddballs (mental) or alcoholics, which there are plenty of unfortunately. AND i just arrived in Cebu, Philippines. Currently in quarantine (unvaccinated) and incredibly happy to be back. Will hopefully be reunited with my girlfriend on Tuesday after 2,5 years apart! I must say that the reception on Mactan as unvaccinated was incredibly positive! Fantastic service and smiling pleasant people. The hard part seems to be getting through check-in at the departure airport. For me that was Bangkok, and Singapore Airlines. Had no issues as i had all the paperwork ready and was smooth sailing to Cebu. I never understood this focus about military service as a bragging point. Anyone who tries to show off with credentials i will brush off, as i am more interested in the human being and a positive life attitude. I did serve 1 year in Norway, as a medic, but every male has to do that there. Hopefully you will never see me on the front page of any Philippine newspaper or in any news clip in any negative way either hehe. Non-drinker, non-smoker and prefer to be around happy positive people which means i am right smack in the middle of Heaven because thats how i see the Philippine people in general :-D Thanks again for a great video and have a great day!

There's another reason why expats move to the Philippines. The process of bringing their wives to the states is extremely lengthy and difficult. So instead of being alone in retirement, they / we decide to stay there during the process. And during this lengthy ordeal, we hear absolute horror stories of how much Filipina girls charge after moving to the States (or other countries). We don't want that change, nor do we want a divorce.
If she's with a financially stable man in the Philippines, she's able to stay close to her family and friends. It's not the Philippines that she's trying to escape, she is wanting to be loved, respected and cared for. I vote to stay in the Philippines and keep my Angel happy.

I went to the Philippines on vacation for 3 weeks and it turned into 30 days. During that time I fell in love with the Filipino people and culture. If I marry a Filipina and we decide to live in the US a portion of the year, fine. But I want to spend most of our time in the Philippines. I want to be more like Filipinos, not the other way around.
I am a proud American, but we have lost sight of our most valuable asset….. each other.

You always make me chuckle 😂 The ugly probably outnumber the beautiful over there. I think the expats don't always set a good example of the American male or the true way of life here in the United States. So many vloggers sugar coat their ugly life in the Philippines. I used to follow a popular vlogger guy in the Philippines that seemed credible. He said he would never date a girl from Dumaguete because they are exposed to so many expats, never live there because of too many expats, he would never allow his girlfriend in the videos, etc. etc. etc. He met some bikini clad Filipina, moved in and settled in Dumaguete, and hasn't stopped filming her from the rear. I think there are a pretty high number of expat relationships that are pretty much based on physical desire above anything else. Thank you for always telling it like it is. This was one of the best informative videos I've seen you produce. More of a serious matter, and so informational. First I was kind of set back when you mentioned the love them and leave them kind of ex-pat. I always thought a more mature and love lorne man would look at their Filipina as a more precious heart to care for than what they have experienced from Western Women.
Even with your humor thrown in there, I was more concerned that women there would be more scarred by their experience with Western Men who did them wrong.
I'm still in my 40s, and never found the true love of my life here in America. I've dated several American Filipina's here, including my very first girlfriend. Their dedication to family values, and their beauty has always drawn me. Always will. As it seems my engrained attraction is more towards Filipinas than any other nationality.
My God Father, who is from the Philippines, and also the father of my first girlfriend is still a friend of my family. He told me to find pure Filipino family values I must go there myself and find a life time love. Although, I've seriously considered his advice. I know it would be hard on her to live here with my extensive travel requirements for work in some restricted areas, I decided to put that off till I can retire. Hopefully soon, as I have built up quite a nest egg not having children or a family to care for. There is a large ex-pat Filipino community in the New York / New Jersey area, so I know whoever I bring home, will be able to find a connection to her culture when needed. Especially in the medical field here.
I will keep what you say in mind when I finally get to visit the Philippines. I know I will not find anyone on my first try. I will have to get to know the regions and the people to get trust and friendly with locals. Love will have to be spontanious and not planned. Sex is a primal urge without borders, but I will keep someone's heart in mind before other body parts. I am glad to have a resource such as you. My career is video production, so if you need any advice on using remote capabilty to connect with your viewers to do some followup with their experience, and how they used your advice let me know.

If they have enough money to be here then they are no different from you then. Maybe you need to look yourself in the mirror and see who’s the off person. As you put it.

They've spent the last six years hating on him (well-deserved, IMHO), but he never cared whether it was positive attention or negative attention, so long as he was getting _attention._ That's his secret, and the media is utterly blind to that: All the negative attention he gets serves to make his persona and his popularity grow. Same with your channel, same with everyone trying to bring down somebody else. When the constructive alternative is to say nothing and let their target fall on their own sword, they can't help themselves; they've gotta say something in an attempt to steal attention away from their target -- and they wind up achieving the exact opposite.

After all it's YOUR country that ai will be living in not the Expats. I know that 99% of the time as long as I am good to Filipinos they will treat me better. That is your motto there and I believe in it. You are good people and that's why I'm coming to help. Because unlike a lot of the expats over there I actually care about people other than myself. It's the only way to be in life and the only way I know. Take care Pea and good vlog 🙏😊

You should not say this !!!!
      That is very wrong !!!!!
There are many good expats in Southeast Asia ….
If you take that attitude to the Philippines towards other ex pats I will promise you one thing Filipinos will notice this and it won’t be in a good way. One thing I have learned Filipinos are open minded and open hearted for the most part as well as other Asian countries in Southeast Asia. I have been study in the area for over four years now. So for you to say 99% of ex-pats are just mean angry bad people and that you’re not gonna talk to them. You might want to look at a different part of the world to go to because people over there do not take the attitude that you just said here… That’s my two cents about it. God bless you and I hope that helps you change your mind about people in general

And I will also say this. When you go to the Philippines Thailand Cambodia Vietnam any of these beautiful countries. Number one you need to understand people that go there to live spend her money most of them are not going there with negative attitudes. You can’t have the coin both ways. On one hand you say that you’re not going to communicate or talk with 99% of the ex-pats that you only want to talk with Filipinos. Yet on the other side of the coin you say auditor person bye person basis. Wrong attitude totally totally totally wrong attitude. Please do not take that attitude to the Philippines with you change it before you go otherwise I promise you this much. When you get over to the Philippines or whatever country you go over there when you’re over there for six months or a year and you don’t want to talk to any ex-pats you’re gonna be a lonely lonely person.

I think one very common misconception is that people from different parts of the world are different. There are of course cultural differences but deep down people are still people wherever you are and it's important not to look on any population with rose tinted glasses. There are good and bad people in all cultures and people need to be careful not to let misconceptions stop them making their usual checks.
I think there is a perception that western men are less likely to hit women than asian men and while there is perhaps some truth to this domestic violence is still a big issue in the west and often closer to home than we'd like. One of my grandfather's regularly went out drinking and was often violent when he came back home and there are still many people like that in society.
I personally prefer to take people as I find them and try not to prejudge based on what I may have heard about them in advance. It's always best to form your own judgements on whether you can trust someone.

Great vlog again. I think everyone (?) thinks about sex, but sex can mean something different to every person. Sex can be just being with someone and feeling a deeper connection, aside from the physical part. I agree that the fatherless child who is the outcome of certain situations is the true victim.... One another impression, when I heard "honorable intentions," I am instantly reminded of one of my favorite films, DR. NO. When Connery as Bond meets Honey, he says his intentions are strictly honorable. We know where that relationship went!

The BabyMaker type really pisses me off. They screw up so many sweet, innocent Filipina girls' lives, turn them jaded against foreigners and men in general, and give the rest of us a bad name who may come there in the future to find a legit wife.

So crazy to imagine the "Babymaker" expat. How could doing that not haunt you? You'd have to be a sociopath, surely? But you could definitely succeed with that kind of mission. The first Filipina I dated, asked me NOT to use a condom our first time. I refused and honestly I took it as a red flag.

When you said that a woman having a mixed baby is a status symbol, that is true of a lot of women in America, whether the women like it or not.(and I'm not talking about any Asian women either). I've heard so many women here saying that they love having mixed babies because they're so cute but babies are cute no matter what their mixture is

I'm not sure. It might be the fact just like in your country, where you use your skin tone as a status symbol, the opposite is true, that whether the mother skin is darker or lighter, they want their children skin is the opposite from them. This is especially true with caucasian women

  • @patrickmanley4943
    @patrickmanley4943 Před rokem +5

    Hi Pea.
Sadly, I feel that there are some, if not many ex-pats from various countries who come/escape to the Philippines to run away from various issues that are plaguing them in their home countries. Some are literally running away from their obligations, like alimony, child, support, taxes, and. familial obligations. And some are just fed up with the rat race and the political climate. They just want to get away because they’re not happy with changes taking place in their country. I think most men that come to the Philippines are of the conservative, thinking mindset who don’t adjust well to change. Their “life was so much better in the 1950’s or 60’s” crowd. You know back when there wasn’t civil rights for minorities or gay rights or women’s rights or rights for the handicapped or rights for the elderly or children’s rights. I’m a centrist and try to see things on both sides of the fence. Change is inevitable as the human race evolves constantly.

This is great information and cannot be said enough or too often. Trust goes both ways, of course, and I always tell young women that time is often a great equalizer and, "if a man (or woman) can't wait, they want something for the wrong reason(s)." "Don't fall for the weekend headlines, wait for the whole story to unfold." ~Thanks again, FP!

  • @mattk070
    @mattk070 Před rokem +2

FP you leave me humbled in the most amazing ways! This video from start to finish (I loved the Star Trek at the end) was better researched and put together with better production than many Hollywood movies! These are the same types of guys in the US that western wm have to deal with. I’ve figured it out, why Some Asian women think western men have a sick asian fetish- It’s not us! It’s “these” guys… I hear about them from my western wm friends. These are the guys (not men) that hit on every woman they encounter, playing the odds, using the dumbest pick up lines, where are you from, you know Korea or Japan maybe… Asian women hate them, western wm love them and find them super sexually attractive, smh, I know right…lol. They are the ones making people think I’m a weirdo like them because I like Asian women. They don’t necessarily like Asian women like I do and others like me but they just hit on everything, playing the odds, and yeah I can see them going overseas to look for new hunting grounds, hunt gazelle instead of deer for a change. They are a big part of the reason that after I became widowed I wanted to date Asian wm. Here in US I’m not handsome enough, not big enough (I’m 6’ 190lbs, nicely just above average in other areas). And get friendzoned virtually every time because the wm here are so in love with these “guys”. I’m viewed as not sexually attractive because I’m quiet and not vulgar. I don’t send pics of my anatomy to them, so I am viewed as not a man, someone who can’t “give it to them” like they want it. All because I’m faithful to who I’m with and I’m classy. I could perform just as well as these guys but I will never get the chance from the friendzone. Western wm claim to hate getting hit on but the truth is they hate getting hit on only by people they don’t want to hit on them. They all end up giving these guys everything they want for free, while real decent MEN sit on the sideline and never get called up to play…. I’m so done with western women! I know Asian women appreciate real men more. And that makes beautiful women even more beautiful! My Chinese gf did not put up with cursing or being loud and quizzed me on 1st date with questions no western wm would ask even after two years! She would not have given me a chance if I was one of those guys. Point is that’s who’s making us look bad with the fetishizing Asian women! Those stereo types of submissive wm are so out of date you don’t hear them anymore and with the internet and literally videos like yours, that generation is gone. Every man like me watches this stuff, I listen to CPop, JPop, JRock, MandoPop etc. watch Asian movies, bloggers, reactors what to expect, the do’s and don’t of every country, etc…. So doesn’t it make sense the ones that make us look bad are those guys, who don’t care enough to research because why? Western women throw it at them whenever and where ever these guys want it. Sorry about the long rant but I believe I’m onto something here that everyone is missing, I’m connecting the dots. Anyone that watches this stuff KNOWS asian women run this world. They are not subservient and I wouldn’t even want that! Thank you for letting me get my theories out there! Fyi you are making me a huge fan of Filipinas…

Good evening, Pea. Great video. You hit the nail on the head. Most ex-pats are not the ugly ones ( not talking about physical appearances here ) and hopefully most arrive with something that resembles moral integrity. I knew guys in the military that I wouldn't leave alone with my pet cat, let alone with someone I cared about. Some of the guys I would trust with the lives of my wife and children. Those friends are worth gold. Ex-pats come in all shapes and flavors, you just have to separate the wheat from the chaff. See you Tuesday.
