Yes they both have accents which an American would detect. Pea you have a midwest American accent. Mary's brother works as a call agent for an American insurance company. He mostly works from home, and seldom has to go into "the office." The company did provide him with a laptop and they do pay for his PLTD connection. As a former Insurance agent in the US, I am impressed at the knowledge he's gained about health insurance products. His English is good, but he does have a detectable accent.
God we all hate talking to Manilla! We had so many inside jokes at the xbox call center about how bad you guys were. from your fake niceness to your purposeful messing with me, to your idiocy....
When I have to be away from PH and stuck in the States. Your call center customer service people are the VERY BEST. American business people are now hopeless failures, your efforts are WORLD CLASS .
Tell me about your self I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina originally I come to Canada in1996 I am 48 years old never been married or have kids I am 6' 3" average look talk to me please
Hey PEA, I have said that the “leftover” Filipinas are the best. I have to say that in my experience, older women are more Cooler and more Open-Minded and more Understanding. I have never been a guy who makes the first move, I have always gotten crazy experiences and problems when I have sought and pursued any Asian woman, especially Cambodian women and Korean women, they are so hard hearted ha ha ….. but Filipinas have been calm and nice and awesome.. . . now .. I am like, waiting for the lady to speak first because I want no more headaches ha I had never had any problems with older Filipinas. It’s so funny that during these past 40 years, the Filipinas always acted like they wanted to be my Big Sister / my Mother / my Girlfriend, all in one package deal ha ha ha …which I do like, most LOL My first experience with a Filipina named Julia. I was 14 and she was 22. She was at a Call Center in Hong Kong and I was a teenager in the state of Ohio. That was around the year 1982. One day after school, my grandmother told me that I got a letter from Hong Kong. That’s how I became friends with this Filipina Julia. We both wrote a letter each month. But when I had graduated from high school, she had told me that she met a guy from Japan and she was moving to Japan. …… Sometimes, I do think about Filipina Julia LOL I may be totally wrong about this but …. I do think that most Filipinas may have an issue with both of my arms, totally covered with tattoos LOL - I got the tattoos when I was age 19 and I am into Metal music and a visual artist. Of course, short Filipinas are the cutest and the smartest and know how to fight LOL - I will be So Proud… (someday).....to wear a tee shirt that says, “Don't mess with this short Filipina, she's my wife and she;s the boss”. Ha ha ha I may be White American, my nationality is Irish and Russian …so…. I am totally 100% White as I can NOT tan with the sun. I get bright red - ha - I am 54 ..so I have to say that Filipinas around 30’s & up are the best for me.
I love it when I get a Filipino at a call center. I always take the time to be a little sociable and ask them where they are from. Luckily I don't have to spend too much time on the phone overall. A lot of people calling call centers don't realize that agents are more inclined to help you if you're kind to them.
@John Grigg not to be mean but I cannot recall ever having a pleasant experience from an Indian-based call-center. Our company switched from and in the air base call-center to our Philippine please call center for that very reason.
I love calling my credit card companies and talking to a Filipina... or even a Filipino. They are all very enjoyable to speak with especially when I've told them I've been in the Philippines to see a gf before. I also compliment them on their impeccable English and grammar.
When I met my Filipina wife over 30 years ago, I noticed that she had a hard time pronouncing the “F” consonant. As a result I decided to try a little grammatical test and asked her to say: Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum. She replied:Pee, Pie, Po, Pum. I started to giggle, she got mad and said: Puck You which made me giggle even more. Good times…as we now both giggle about it.
Being married to a Filipina I can recognize their accent pretty well, so once when I called Verizon I asked the representative if they were Filipino; she said yes but wasn't allowed to say where she lived. Filipinas have the best voices! 😍
At my dialysis center many of the nurses are Filipina's and while thier English is quite good ( better than most Americans) they generally have cute accents... I'm slightly taller than most people so that has gained some highly comical looks from some of the nurses...One of them calls me "coconut tree"😆
Yes they do and their command of english is usually much better. On some occasions their accent is distorted over the phone lines which makes it a little harder to understand. Great vlog Pea so nice to listen yo your guests. Bushyboy Oz
I was a call center lead and supervisor for about four years so I can relate to everything you guys said about dealing with customers over the phone. Every day when I walked into the call center I knew I was going to be called every form of SOB there is. I learned to let it roll off of me like water off a ducks back. Still, being a call center rep is a tough job. I had associates who would transfer the call to me and leave their desk crying because they could not deal with an angry customer. The center I worked for closed down and I lost my job. Honestly I was happy to leave that place. Great post Pea. Take care.
The last service I used to order airfare was ASAP tickets which mostly farms out to Philippines. At the end of the call they give you an option to TIP the helper. She saved me so much money on my EMIRATES business class trip to Maldives, I tipped her $100. I bought the ticket for $4700 + tax and insurance (Full round trip business plus lounge access in JFK and DXB) in November of last year. Had I waited till 2022, the price would have been $12,000. Philippines could take over all 24/7 call center jobs for America if they applied themselves. I LOVE being able to get help even after hours here in NYC.
I got my wife to watch this one. And as a former call center employee, she concurs with everything all of you said. Took us almost two hours to watch the whole video. We kept pausing it to relate to past experiences. Hers taking the callers and me being a caller.
Everyone who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, the doubt exit your mind right now. May replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life ❤❤❤❤
Every time I call Direct TV the call center worker is Filipino/a. That company is always trying to rip me off. So I am usually irritated when I call. But the workers are so patient and kind it soothes my grouchy soul. Most recently I talked to a man who got me involved in a good conversation about out mutual interest in basketball while he was looking up my info. He did such an amazing job I asked to speak to his supervisor so I could give a glowing report. She said he was a new employee and was so happy about what I told her. I hope the dude gets a raise soon. He deserves it!
I worked in a call centre under AOL for a few years and I have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life based upon team building, patience, hitting deadlines, commission and everything. I experienced a lot of growth and met some great people. When dealing with clients/customers, there were some hilarious times, customers threatening me from thousands of miles away, threatening to "come down" and all sorts. Then we had to learn/memorise scripts, de-escalate, escalate calls to managers and so much more. It was a great life experience and would advise young people to try it atleast once in their life for six months for growth and maturity. By the way, Pea. Thanks so much for this video. It brought back SO MANY MEMORIES.
@@TheFilipinaPea I been following you since the beginning....I have learned... that you have lived a very interesting life..you have done well...I hope my daughters will do the same..I too done lots and been around the world..and traveled the state... now that restrictions are over..I'm continuing to travel.. hoping to go somewhere this month.wish me luck
Like you, Pea, I never dated colleagues from work. I didn't even meet them outside work on a friendly basis. I just wanted a clear separation between work and private life. I also never discussed problems at work with my wife.
I recently talked to a call center and had to ask if she was located in the Philippines, she asked why I said that so I replied "I can hear a darn rooster in the background". She thought it was very funny. She also was very helpful which is rare for a cable company. Good show Pea.
I had that happen a few months ago. The rooster was crowing and the phone rep was trying his best to ignore it. I said, "Gotta love the Philippines, you get to take your pet rooster to work with you." Cracked him up and it took a couple more minutes to get focused back on the call.
@@TheFilipinaPea pea, I know a few call center agents located there in the Philippines. The policy thier company has is , " They aren't allowed to give out thier location unless ask for it. Then if asked, they have to tell, but only the country ( The Philippines) nothing any more personal.
Effing great show Pea...You look Great! Balanced, bold, informative, direct. You took a simple topic and offered awareness to the world on some behind the scenes action. Certainly, many if not all of us (subscribers, viewers) can relate to the many points that you touched on in this segment regarding call center work, interactions. I find myself having to be more open minded and trusting towards the agents who are answering to assist me. Fortunately, so because of that fact, "they are answering to assist me". Many ethnicity...in fact all ethnicities have those seedy cults who linger to scam and take advantage of those in needs. unfortunately, the leech on to the systems which we as people are most vulnerable and that is "call center assistance". I most definitely leash me weakness to generalize a person, ethnicity or culture as shady or seedy towards my event in need of call center assistance. It is a thankless job and I appreciate those who have the patience, articulation, pleasantry, willingness, knowledge and understanding to offer assistance and/or support. I enjoyed the way you found time to mix it up and introduce the ladies personally to us. You are certainly maturing into a wonderful host in your segment. The time and patience you take in coming up with the ideas, researching, creating, setting and interviewing, editing, producing and airing with timeliness. I truly appreciate that and your sincerity in being informative, gracious, hard hitting and brave. I am proud of you my friend.
Lovely interview! Used to be a joke that graduates end up working in cafes, bars and restaurants. Looks like call centres might take over! You bring out the best in people lovely Pea, such honest answers! ❤️🥰
Something that people should keep in mind, when thinking about upset customers. They don't want to be calling a call center. They have a problem, they are frustrated, they are doing something they dont want to do to resolve the issue. They are not their best selves. I spent 30 years in IT. If someone was talking to me, they were having a bad day. It's not you, it's not an accent, it isn't that the person is a bad person, or doesn't have empathy. They need empathy at that moment. Maybe you can help them, maybe you can't but it doesn't do anyone favors to judge people at their worst. Definitely don't take it personally. They may not love the company you represent right now, but they don't have a actual problem with you.
The best part of having to call for my Xfinity service is getting to hear all the wonderful Filipina voices! Y'all are always the friendliest and best to work with!
I worked five years in a collections /recovery call center. I was cursed out on a daily basis. I feel very bad when someone is treated poorly by callers. You’re just there to help and hopefully resolve their problem. You’re not the one that created it. All three of you are very beautiful and I’ll see you in July 2024!!
The unicorns exist!!! I found my filipina unicorn my first week on Christian Filipina. 44, never married, no children, big family, speaks very good english, very attractive, happy personality, great family... a little reserved, but not shy. I am so very blessed. We married just this past May.
Great video Pea! I worked in a callcenter for an American multinational technology company that specializes in consumer electronics, software and online services. Unfortunately there were a lot of irate customers because the customers experienced lengthy hold times and were transferred from one person to another. I used to take over 100 calls a day. They weren't all bad but it was extremely difficult not to react to being abused by people on a daily basis. I don't have an accent but I have seen those that did have a very heavy accent be brutalized by customers. We used to console our teammates after they experienced those types of calls. It was great to see my girl, Cap'n Pea too! Take Care of yourself, Pea.....YOU matter and it is very important as well.
I get to talk to Filipina's ( usually a girl ) when I call in a medication, my hearing is poor, so I sometimes have difficulty understanding them so I explain that to them. They ALWAYS do a great job and are very patient with me . Also I get to speak the few words of Tagalog that I know. Great job as always kid !
@@TheFilipinaPea I'm sure when they get off the phone, they have a good laugh in the break room with their friends about the weird guy trying to speak Tagalog .
Every day I wish I was back in the Philippines. These beautiful two women are a big part of my reasoning! It is encouraging to actually see ladies like this who are professional, articulate, and very much Filipina! Also they have the advantage of dealing with westerners who are the butt end of a sick animal, and they can quickly deal with it without the work guidelines to follow. They are more prepared and knowledgeable about communications which is a strong characteristic in any relationship ❤️ Salamat Pea! Another excellent video 🥰
It amuses and annoys me when someone complains about accents. My question to them is, “how many languages do you speak?” For me, I only speak one. I’m so proud impressed by how many Filipinas speak very good English. And I LOVED this video! There absolutely beautiful ladies “telling it like it is!”
Many of those complaints are the result of a person living in the states, doing business with a company in the states, being paid with money earned in the states, and the person that answered the phone.... Was NOT in the states, on top of that the customer is a little bit older, has a degree of hearing loss and had already fought a battle with a phone tree or computer to get to talk to someone, so the poor girl in the call center was setup for failure before she even clocked in.
Hello Pea. Long time listener and fan. Just wanted to let you know I found the needle in the haystack!! I found me a beautiful Filipina woman who's 42, single, mother of 1 who is 22yr old, and not married and very fluent in English. We've been in LDR for more than 2yrs and still talking everyday. She's even proved her love to me by getting my name tattooed on her body in 3 different places. She's very special to me and hopefully plan to meet soon. Just wanted to let you know.
For many Americans it’s hard to understand English if it’s in an accent. We even have that problem amongst our own when listening to people from New Jersey, New York, Luisiana, Texas or even where I’m from in Iowa and I don’t see that I have an accent.
This was a good one Miss Pea. Sometimes we as clients don’t know what the call center girls life is like on the other end. I always prefer to get a call center in the Philippines because they always seem very proficient in English and because I have been around Filipinas so much the accent is no problem. My wife always prefers call centers in Philippines because of the ability to understand. Usually they can’t converse in Tagalog but sometimes they will which is good because no matter what things can be lost in translation. I hate when I get a call center like in India that I just can’t understand the person on the other end. These two girls are beautiful and they will find the right guy. Good work girls. Good interview Miss Pea.
@@119jlefor me, I find Hindi to be a very flat monotonal language, combined with a bit of high frequency hearing loss and the rapid cadence of it was well make a very bad combination.
@@TheFilipinaPea it sounds like at least at one point you worked in a call center. Who knows, I may have talked to you if I called ones of my company's call centers. As a hint I install and repair telephone and Internet (U-verse)
Thank you Ladies for the perspective you had on this issues. I am always respectful to the call center people, no matter who they are, as they are just doing a job. God Bless You All!
I've had the pleasure of speaking to a few call center ladies from the Philippines (T-Mobile, Pizza Hutt 🙂) and most are shocked that I know their culture and the fact that they are from the Philippines, a Nurse I work with (I'm working at a call center for my job) ask me was I a Filipino!
Hello Ms Pea ,I recently started watching your videos and I find them entertaining, informative and alluring. Having spent time in the Philippines when I was a very young man, your videos bring back fond memories. And one more thing, you a beautiful little woman.
I just talked to T-Mobile rep in Cebu! She was so friendly, sweet, and kind! I left her a very nice review with T-Mobile I hope she gets a nice raise or a bonus!
Thank you Pea and Ladies for your hard work at the call centers. I can appreciate how difficult it can be dealing with frustrated Westerners😄 We can be a little self entitled at times🙄 My wife and I like it when we get Filipinos to help us resolve our technical issues. My experience is they are very understanding and technically savy. I have no problem understanding them as most speak English very well👍 I am a little biased 😄😄 Have a good weekend, Pea!! Take care😊
I remember about 15 years ago I contacted a call-center that happened to be in the Philippines and had an amazing conversation with the girl. It’s hard to explain, but there was definitely a connection. I never attempted to offer flowers, maybe I should’ve…. I still think about her all these years later.
Miss p again you've done it you've came out of left field with something totally different as far as interviewing people. This was quite interesting I enjoyed it. I'm quite curious to attractive women in their thirties that aren't married. These would be two prizes for anyone to get
Early on there was a comment about customers asking for the supervisor. There is a very good chance that the customer has called several times before with the same issue and is frustrated. Personally, if I am told there is no supervisor available or they are in a meeting, or give me your number and they will call you back, I end all dealings with that company immediately.
Miss Pea! I’m a double degree holder (teacher/nurse) in the Philippines but, I don’t think I can catch up with your English, in the way you speak it and enunciate your words. 🤩❤️🌹🙌
Lovely and entertaining guests as always Pea 😊 Glad to hear this is one of the better paid jobs in the Philippines as it can’t be easy! It must be hard dealing with prejudiced callers - personally I love hearing a different accent on the phone. You never quite know how far away the person you’re dealing with is, until mentioning the weather (a typical British preoccupation). Once on a call I remember talking about the freezing temperatures only to be told ‘it’s 35 degrees here!’
@@benlaw4647... Yes, that's so true. But, I don't know from whence @dawster is telling the above story. "Once, on a call, I remember talking about the freezing temperatures (a typical British preoccupation)"... why would a Brit be thrown by hearing the caller say, "It's 35 degrees here"? 🤔 You see, 35°F is only slightly above freezing...
Hi, Pea, I really enjoyed the video because it reminded me of the only time that I spoke with a Filipina at a call center. (I think I mentioned it before.) I ordered something online, but there were problems with the product. I don't remember what it was, nor who I ordered it from. What I do remember is the delightful, witty, charming, and intelligent woman who handled my call when I was routed to a Philippine call center. While she looked up my info on the computer and then worked to solve my problem, we had a great conversation. She was warm and welcoming, the best such call I've ever had - bar none - with a customer service representative, very much unlike other CSRs who sounded cold and uncaring about my issues with the products they were supposedly representing. And I had no problems whatsoever understanding her. By the way, I did not flirt with this wonderful woman. For one thing, I knew she was working, and my flirting with her would be wasting her time. Also, I figured that she got hit on a lot, and she didn't need another clueless flirting with her, even if only for fun. Further, I'm not that kind of guy, to just flirt with a woman at the drop of a hat. Lastly, I didn't do it because I just plain don't know how to flirt; despite my age, I just don't have any real experience in flirting. But I did enjoy our conversation. So much so that I found myself wishing it could have lasted longer. If she was an example of how great your CSRs are at your call centers, I'm not surprised to hear that some guys try to flirt with these ladies. Be well, Pea! Thanks for another great interview.
It's not the accent. It's how your culture listens and they are angry at the company. They have detailed information to solve the issue and most of the time Filipinos are still focused on niceties. It's like telling a woman she is wrong when they're mad lol.
Hmmm...it's 'funny' that both women said that women had issues with them...lol...also, I guess call centers is not bad work that only 1 woman was 'rude' out of probably thousands of phone calls. I thought it was going to be at least 50% negative, since the people calling are already 'pissed off' at the company, because of the 'problem' they are calling about :)
To shine a light on the "accent" issue, here in America we get bombarded with calls from scammers from Indian. These scams are about anything you can imagine. Extended car warranties, IRS late payments, issues with your computer, Amazon purchases and the list goes on and on. So, a good portion of Americans can be suspicious if they call someone, and they have an accent that isn't American. Regardless of their level of English. And, as a side note, many American companies use Call Center companies overseas to save money. So, this just compounds the issue.
We get them in Canada too. You have guys with an obvious East Indian accent claiming to call from the Canada Revenue Agency and stating their name is something like "John Smith". Ahhh....okay..😂
Yeah, older Americans will remember how so many legit companies outsourced customer service call to Indian call centers in the 2000s or so. A lot of people got frustrated over not being able to understand the accent clearly. I've heard now India has lost over 70% of that business to Filipino call centers. And deservedly so. Imo, Filipinos can speak better English, and are more patient and pleasant on the phone. But yeah, that and the scammers have made a lot of Americans suspicious of accents on the phone.
Hi Pea very interesting episode. Very nice to hear the interview with Jean and Margaret. I can relate with their experiences. Many years ago I worked for British Telecom, BT, billing help desk in Bangalore. So many times the client would not believe me when I mentioned my name and city. They thought i was in Derby then I would tell them that I am an Anglo Indian whose ancestors are from Europe. BTW lovely to see you with eye shadow marching your dress. Really looking gorgeous. Hope you have a great weekend 🥰🥰🌹
Advice that has always served me well: Don't get your honey where you get your money ! Especially enjoyed this interview with women over 30. Please continue "hunting" for more to interview. Thanx Pea !!
Thanks for interviewing the more mature women Pea. Like you were saying. Some of us do prefer the women 35 and over. Jean checks a lot of the boxes as in terms of comparability. On top of that she is in a profession that to me, makes her great at conversing.
OK, this is the one I have been waiting for. The company I work for uses a Filipina call center. I speak with them every single day at work. I do roadside assistance so they called me for information, updates and other things. I do get annoyed with them often. I have never cursed at them but I’m sure they can hear it in my voice that I am annoyed. No here are the reasons why. And if you are a call center worker please read this as I’m sure it will help you and your job. Know about the subject you are dealing with. Our job is to deal with minor vehicle breakdowns. Running out of gas, jumpstart, flat tires, and Lock out services. It’s only a few things but the people that work at the call-center don’t seem to understand how any of this works and I often times have to explain why or why we cannot do this type of service. That makes me very, very annoyed! The next very important thing would be your English skills. educated Filipinos for the most part speak English with a limited accent, but the problem is as we saw in your video both girls had some problems with choosing the correct words to describe something. The one girl kept using the word it instead of he or she, and they both had problems saying they wanted a guy that was taller than they are. You can’t say you want a guy that’s longer! That’s a totally different thing! Lol The small errors are exactly the type of thing that gets annoying when you’re dealing with somebody at a call center. Also the personality of a Filipino is different than a westerner. Whenever I talk to the call center I feel like I’m talking to a machine with no personality. Not to be mean but the only thing Westerners how to go on is your voice. if you don’t pronounce the words properly and don’t understand the meaning of the words you’re using and have no personality we have a tendency to assume that you are not an intelligent individual. Even though most people in the call center would be college graduates. I hope no one finds this offensive it is only meant to help all the call-center workers out there. The Filipina pea is probably the best example of a Filipino resident with a firm grasp on western culture
A woman who are knowledgeable , can understand others perspective , who points out lifes reality like it is . Is very attractive!!! I think I unmasked my excitement for a certain person now.
You could say I'm watching your videos because of Philippine call centers. It doesn't matter if the call is answered by a man or woman, I've always gotten the best help from the people there. It made me consider the Philippines as a travel destination. Salamat po!
Another nice interview with these call center ladies. I like to pick up on the nuances of the topics & delivery. Like the standard response to age gap. Oh they say it's just a number & it doesn't matter to me, in one breath. Then in the next breath, I want them to be older than me. Obviously age does matter. I mean no disrespect. We all do things like that. It makes me chuckle when I hear it so much. Thanks Pea.
New subscriber though I've been enjoying your channel for some time. All call centers should be in the Philippines because they are so very helpful and knowledgeable. Your pirate gig at the end is great 👍
What a great lady...filipina pea, I dont know your name yet...as long as I hear you more I fall in love with your style n funny talks....what a great girl...tc sweetheart...
I love your channel! You are the best host and I encourage you to keep doing what you do! I am very much interested in a life in the Philippines and you provide so much information on how to navigate the culture.
I will be sure to join more often. Both of your guest do come across as very professional so you did a great job Ms. Pea. I probably should visit Cebu and try my luck.
As always a very informative video. I’ve dealt with some either Indians or Filipinas where their accent was so thick that I’ve asked for a supervisor before. Only because I didn’t want them getting frustrated nor myself so it was much easier to ask for a supervisor or another operator. Usually it went well. Sometimes they can’t understand what you are trying to say and they will keep repeating whatever their script is. At those times instead of getting angry and cussing them out I’ll request a supervisor. And there has been a time or two when the call Ctr ladies have been very good at their jobs and their voices were very nice and they were kidding around just enough to make everything very pleasant so I would tease them back and everyone left happy. And I’ve actually gotten a couple of very rude gentleman from India who if I could have reached through the phone I would have. Sooo I hung up and called back later and got a very pleasant Filipina. With a somewhat deeper voice but a little shy sounding. She got my problems fix. And Ms. Pea I was a diver in the Navy so if you want someone to find your sunken treasure I’m sure I can locate it and we can share in the pleasure. Haha 😂 I’m sorry I hope that wasn’t too creepy but I was laughing so hard at your sunken treasure joke. All three of you ladies are very beautiful 😍 🌹🔥❤️🔥🔥🌹
My refrigerator stopped working yesterday. I called customer support and I could tell it was a Filipina. I asked if she was in the Philippines and she said yes. We chatted a little and she was very helpful.
I love when I get a BPO from the Philippines on the phone. When I mention that I’ve been to the Philippines the agent gets happy and excited. I chat about my vacations there and the agent will bend over backwards to help me with why I’m calling.
When I mention that I've been married to a Filipina almost 49 years now the agents are about ready to give me the keys to the Kingdom. I can ask for anything I want and they try their best to make sure I get it. I am never reluctant to use the best tools I have to get the job done. 😍😍
I don't know about that lady, but I LOVE a husky voice on a woman. Deep, rich, and (dare I say) sensual. 😅 I like to hear a foreign accent when I call customer service. So long as they speak English clearly I'm cool with it. I especially like to ask questions about their country and culture in between issues...its a great way to learn about people. I would prefer 40 and above, and am willing to look far and wide to find one, but 30 and above may be more feasible. Interesting interview, Pea. Thanks for sharing with us!
Great video Pea, if a woman works at a call center or at a mall long term. Then to me she’s responsible and cares about herself and her familia. I plan or hope to to visit in October for a long stay like a Month. If I meet someone again (a Filipina) then cool. I’m not picky and I need to meet someone like my late Pinay wife. But chemistry, understanding one another, communication and supporting one another are important. I would prefer to meet someone at least 35. But I’m open lol, I will say Margaret is very pretty with good values 🙃. Thank you for all you do Pea!
I always enjoy talking to the call center girls, I will always ask them if they are near the Mall of Asia and they are always surprised that I have actually been there, very nice women
I've never flirted with a call center girl while on the phone with her, but I didn't know they looked like you three. Maybe I should start! All three of you speak great English as well, even with the funny parts about being taller, as longer or higher (loved those). I can see why it was easy for you to get call center jobs.
My girlfriend, age 27, works at a call center in Cebu. This is just another step on her journey to building her own business. Every day she has an opportunity to improve her English and overall leadership skills, it's a great position if you can find the right company.
I've spoke to call centre women from numerous countries inc, Philippines, African, Indian. No disrespect to any others but the Filipina are a blessing compared. They do a great job, friendly & professional. Well done to all. Great Subject Miss Pea.
My difficulty is I have a problem, I'm angry and want to call and yell at someone. Then I hear the voice of this cheerful Pinay and my heart melts. I've always had a soft spot for Pinays. Suddenly I'm all "Well it's not a big problem, but..." then whatever they say I go "Okay that's fine" and at the end "maraming salamat!" lol

It’s so funny that during these past 40 years, the Filipinas always acted like they wanted to be my Big Sister / my Mother / my Girlfriend, all in one package deal ha ha ha …which I do like, most LOL
My first experience with a Filipina named Julia. …… Sometimes, I do think about Filipina Julia LOL
I may be totally wrong about this but ….
Ha ha ha
I may be White American, my nationality is Irish and Russian …so….
And unscrupulous call center agents can really make a mess for you if they wanted to 😂😂😂
@John Grigg not to be mean but I cannot recall ever having a pleasant experience from an Indian-based call-center. Our company switched from and in the air base call-center to our Philippine please call center for that very reason.
Same here. I always speak Tagalog if I hear her accent. Then I wait for her response.
@John Grigg Indian call center are the worst my company outsource some jobs a few years back, they are all back in Canada now.

I love talking to call center from the Philippines. I normally praise them for being so patient and understanding. I would like to meet one
I love calling my credit card companies and talking to a Filipina... or even a Filipino. They are all very enjoyable to speak with especially when I've told them I've been in the Philippines to see a gf before. I also compliment them on their impeccable English and grammar.
Greggy! There you are, I was missing you 👍😊
Ooh greggy. Someone's got wet panties for you pal...woohoo hooooo!!
@@TheFilipinaPea Awwwww SWEET!!! You can't miss me if I don't go away.😘
You know what you're doing.
My husband too is happy if call center is from the Philippines, he told them , my wife is a Filipina then talk few minutes.
😍
At my dialysis center many of the nurses are Filipina's and while thier English is quite good ( better than most Americans) they generally have cute accents...
I'm slightly taller than most people so that has gained some highly comical looks from some of the nurses...One of them calls me "coconut tree"😆
Why would they not be allowed to say where they grew up? Do the really think I am going to fly to the PI and stalk them. Give me a break..

I am American living in the Philippines. Sometimes when I call my bank or whatever I'm connected back here. It's amusing
Wow, you sure made someone’s week, BT!! ❤️

Filipinos do tend to speak English very clearly.
Thanks Hugh! My years at the call center were great practice for my CZcams videos, for the same reasons you mentioned 👍😊

Was she allowed to tell you where she was? 😂
Haha
🐓

Thank God it's Friday! That means only one thing, Miss Pea graces us with her presence. Ah I can relax now.😀

I bet they’re amazed to hear Tagalog!! 😂👍
They are more prepared and knowledgeable about communications which is a strong characteristic in any relationship ❤️
Salamat Pea! Another excellent video 🥰

I would happily watch and subscribe to a whole video series with this title! Great video thanks for making it.
I’ve learned so much of fillipina culture . My dream to marry a fillipina . I love the 30 year old lady very lovely and good nature ♥️

Absolutely. The India accent is not compatible to English language sadly

(There’s always a supervisor available) 🤫
Thanks Pea, good topic, and very interesting to hear their perspective.

35 degrees... Fahrenheit, or Celsius? On one scale, that's kinda cold; but, by the other measure, it's rather warm.
35 degrees Celsius....USA uses farenheit....
You see, 35°F is only slightly above freezing...
Well then, the next time we talk on the phone I’ll use my Filipina accent for you 😂👍
@@TheFilipinaPea... The temperature will be high no matter your location 😅
Hi, Pea,
I really enjoyed the video because it reminded me of the only time that I spoke with a Filipina at a call center. (I think I mentioned it before.)
I ordered something online, but there were problems with the product.
When you have girl talk , I just can't get enough. Good stuff
It's not the accent. It's how your culture listens and they are angry at the company. They have detailed information to solve the issue and most of the time Filipinos are still focused on niceties. It's like telling a woman she is wrong when they're mad lol.
Hahahahaha
😉😉❤️🇺🇾🇪🇸🇫🇷✈️ español o English latino
Hmmm...it's 'funny' that both women said that women had issues with them...lol...also, I guess call centers is not bad work that only 1 woman was 'rude' out of probably thousands of phone calls. I thought it was going to be at least 50% negative, since the people calling are already 'pissed off' at the company, because of the 'problem' they are calling about :)
@@tonyste12 Most of the time people are a little annoyed when they call, mad happens when the call doesn't get anywhere and you get jerked around.

My comment is every phillipino girl is not only beautiful but more educated than me.
Wow Pea, Jean is a classy lady, so reserved and soft spoken.......very mature too.
Great point, Charles 👍😊
We get them in Canada too. You have guys with an obvious East Indian accent claiming to call from the Canada Revenue Agency and stating their name is something like "John Smith". Ahhh....okay..😂
@@Avarua59 the name is always John Smith in the thickest Indian accent. It’s comical for about a second until I hang up.
All the Filipina girls I have spoken to at call centers have been sweet and efficient. Always impressed with them.
Hi Pea very interesting episode. Very nice to hear the interview with Jean and Margaret. I can relate with their experiences.
I struggle to learn some Spanish so I’ve got respect for anyone with an accent. That shows they learned another language.
A woman who are knowledgeable , can understand others perspective , who points out lifes reality like it is .
Is very attractive!!! I think I unmasked my excitement for a certain person now.
Pea has the best legs. The most caramel brown. Ooh la la
I 2nd That Motion !!!!
Well thanks for that, A Team! ❤️
You could say I'm watching your videos because of Philippine call centers. It doesn't matter if the call is answered by a man or woman, I've always gotten the best help from the people there. It made me consider the Philippines as a travel destination. Salamat po!
I have a couple of tattoos I’m Mexican American 🇺🇸
Well it sounds like these women don’t mind a bit 👍😂
Another nice interview with these call center ladies. I like to pick up on the nuances of the topics & delivery. Like the standard response to age gap. Oh they say it's just a number & it doesn't matter to me, in one breath. Then in the next breath, I want them to be older than me. Obviously age does matter. I mean no disrespect. We all do things like that. It makes me chuckle when I hear it so much. Thanks Pea.
We can't handle call center girls in their 30's. lol. They're too hot.
Hahahahaha
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another fine job Pea 👏 👌 👍 🙌 🙂 😊 👏 Lovely ladies as per usual.
I’m 6,1” is that to tall ? Hehe 😉
That was an excellent video, and the two ladies were very intelligent and very beautiful, thank you the Filipina Pea for this great video.
Trabaho Trabaho trabaho 😊 live life who ever ends up with one of these Filipina lady’s will be lucky to have a wonderful hard working woman 🙏😇✅
I love your channel! You are the best host and I encourage you to keep doing what you do! I am very much interested in a life in the Philippines and you provide so much information on how to navigate the culture.
I would love to meet a Filipina like Jean. Attractive, educated.
Three lovely ladies, what a great conversation to watch. Thank you as always Pea!
And thanks so much for watching it, John 👍😊
This a topic that needed to be brought up. Pea ❤️
Thanks Dwayne - I hope you liked it 👍❤️
I will be sure to join more often. Both of your guest do come across as very professional so you did a great job Ms. Pea. I probably should visit Cebu and try my luck.
Pea, you always come up with some of the best topics/talks. Very nicely done madam.
Oh yes, we love it when you’ve heard of the Philippines 😂👍
When I mention that I've been married to a Filipina almost 49 years now the agents are about ready to give me the keys to the Kingdom. I can ask for anything I want and they try their best to make sure I get it. I am never reluctant to use the best tools I have to get the job done. 😍😍
I don't know about that lady, but I LOVE a husky voice on a woman. Deep, rich, and (dare I say) sensual. 😅
I like to hear a foreign accent when I call customer service.
You are the Best Pea! I sincerely mean that. Your Videos are always professional and well thought out. Thank you (:
Great video Pea, if a woman works at a call center or at a mall long term. Then to me she’s responsible and cares about herself and her familia. I plan or hope to to visit in October for a long stay like a Month. If I meet someone again (a Filipina) then cool. I’m not picky and I need to meet someone like my late Pinay wife. But chemistry, understanding one another, communication and supporting one another are important. I would prefer to meet someone at least 35. But I’m open lol, I will say Margaret is very pretty with good values 🙃. Thank you for all you do Pea!
LOL! I remember mentioning something about call centers on one of your prior vlogs. Pretty cool!!
Maybe you’re the reason for this video? 😂👍
Filipina's are awesome! Great at everything they put their mind into doing ....thanks Pea! Very interesting and entertaining....God bless...🙏❤
I always enjoy talking to the call center girls, I will always ask them if they are near the Mall of Asia and they are always surprised that I have actually been there, very nice women
Nice interview, the ladies spoke well and offered good information, thanks.
I've never flirted with a call center girl while on the phone with her, but I didn't know they looked like you three. Maybe I should start! All three of you speak great English as well, even with the funny parts about being taller, as longer or higher (loved those). I can see why it was easy for you to get call center jobs.
You can flirt with us anytime 👍😂
@@TheFilipinaPea I'll keep that in mind!
@@TheFilipinaPea oh, I have. I even sent you a personal email :?) Hopefully I'll hear back from you in the future. Talk soon, take care.
Great interview involving 3 lovely young ladies thank you Pea
My girlfriend, age 27, works at a call center in Cebu. This is just another step on her journey to building her own business. Every day she has an opportunity to improve her English and overall leadership skills, it's a great position if you can find the right company.
Yes, some companies are better than others 👍😊
Hi Pea, love your Vlogs, you always make me laugh at the end of your Vlog.
Your such a fun, light hearted person. Are you always so positive? 🙏🏻❤️
