MacBook Pro 16 inches A2141 No power repairs

In this repair , the board would not power on. During the course of our troubleshooting, we narrowed down the issue to the NAND circuitry , we narrowed down the failed components and made replacements, but that didn’t fix the issue right away , ad the device will only start with trackpad feedback but no POST , we then tried to revive the device , but was failing with error 6, so we again took out the board and then realised that the 2.5V line for the SSD we addressed was still shorted through the capacitor we replaced , and in our negligence, we didn’t confirm the voltage on the line or check for a short before installing the board in the shell, this was addressed and resolved the second time.
Nice repair and pretty good practical skills considering your equipment. You definitely deserve a better soldering iron for 0201 components and at least a microscope for better content quality. how to get the spare parts like fuse, Nand, ssd to replace.. if I dont have any old board with me. I have got similar problem to my customers, I am a refurbished laptop reseller, I usually dont do repairs, and I have not done repair using Soldering, but I am an electronics grad.. I understand.. I am planning to repair it my self.. but where to get the spare parts to replace..
@@UshasreeKondapi hello there , thank you for taking your time through the video, to your question, you have to look into a practical and cheaper way to acquire donor boards , for me , you can start by buying dead machines,
@@resetlab7142 sure, thanks for your reply. I will start collecting dead boards. I am actually selling MacBooks in Indian cities. so, I get dead laptops in our laptop LOTs.

Today, I just closed the lid and opened it and it simply don't want to start. It's my work laptop, A2141, 16 inch, can you please provide any troubleshooting steps, pls. Any reset whcih probably can do the trick.

Do you have feedback on your trackpad? did you notice the battery percentage before you closed the lid?

The battery percentage was around 70%, and how to check the feedback on the trackpad?
@ireview8621 unfortunately, you need tools, if not you might have to take it to a repair shop for an assessment
