- Something a bit different from corruptions, It was fun using Hammer editor / Source SDK to try and make a Counter-Strike map & i'd love to explore this sort of thing further in the future. I'm pretty excited about CS:GO again after discovering community map making / design & now that there are frequent CS:GO updates. The playtest highlights / best moments with chat were a lot of fun & so was making silly custom textures.

This was one of those streams you'll never forget if you're a true Killysunt fan. By true, I mean you have to have at least an hour watching Killy ruin his life trying to make this map.
This is my first video, thinking of subscribing.
I've heard that Hammer is one of the worst, most painful, bugged-up-the-butt level editors ever devised by mankind, so props for even using such a heinous tool for your endeavors, Killy. Also, this was hilarious.

Always love hearing a comedic retelling of someone's misadventures in learning a new skill. Really loved this, would not mind seeing more.
Despite it being a massively different kind of video than usual, this fits surprisingly well in the channel, definitely gonna move over to twitch to watch some of these live streams :D

I’ve never played CS:GO, and I’m pretty t r a s h at shooters, but I’ve always been into custom maps and such, so I might give this a go. Thanks for introducing me to this! :3
The goal was to make map making etc look less intimidating so I appreciate it. :) People tend to focus on the competitive side of CSGO as well, which is fine & I like that stuff, but there's loads of beautiful maps on the workshop, dumb funny stuff, custom servers etc.
The moment you added that proper skybox, I was instantly interested. It looked beautiful
I appear to like small maps now. I'd definitely play this. Maybe you could have added a secret under everything and not tell anyone about it.

one thing i need help with is how did u draw ur own objects? like what tool did you use and how did you get it back on the hammer tool?
Do you mean the textures? like the poster etc? I made them in Photoshop, then used VTFEdit to make them compatible with Hammer. There are guides on doing it on CZcams, "Source SDK - Custom textures in Hammer" by 3kliksphillip is what I watched. If you meant something else let me know.

I just kinda make whatever, there aren't any mapping plans right now but I'm absolutely down to do it again when the inspiration hits! Same goes for infomercials, I started one a while ago & if I go back to that project and finish it, I won't argue. Just kinda going with whatever I feel like. Got a Doom video that's a lil different in the works, more corruptions, etc etc, loads of ideas :) hope to be more frequent one day but hey.
