Modelling Sash Windows In A Few Easy Steps

  • I’ve been working on another scratch build and needed a lot of sash windows. Due to minor discrepancies in measurements when cutting it was going to be difficult to get laser cut windows made to suit the build so I made my own. Here’s how I did it.

    A wee piece of netting across the bottom half of the ground floor windies like our Grannies did in the aul days !

    Hi Paul a great modelling mate I may have to take my layout out for the loft and build a new layout in one of are bedrooms using the Stranraer Harbour part of my layout on top of the new layout with a line running down to a two track mainline on the lower part of the new layout because my back is every bad but it is stupid in the air at the moment please stay safe and well mate goodbye for how clive

    not really sash windows, more like modern two pane window but not bad effort, i've worked on actual sash windows and the top does sit in front and also has a tail on either side, i've made them in 00 scale and there pretty easy to do and look good.
