That's understandable, the original is sixty years old, is sung by Shirley Bassey and is one of the top five best James Bond theme songs. This is a weird song in two parts with a gratuitous 16 second section of complete silence stuck in the middle. The opening act is intriguing which leaves you curious as to what comes next. What does come next is the main act that has a rich Goldfinger inspired guitar section that is pure John Barry. It fluctuates through soaring sections and soft sections and leaves you admiring its origanilty and its respect to the original. You can't beat the original and that was never the aim, merely to showcase how my Trophy Rock prompt interprets the lyrics. This is merely one of the versions I felt was good enough to share. Thanks for your comment though.
Because it's a re-imagined version of Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey by myself X N Y. Because Shirley Bassey sang the original, why should she not get credit?, or are you being specific because the two gentleman that wrote the lyrics are called Anthony Newley & Leslie Bricusse?
Following your logic, every cover version should have the original artist's name attached and should be called, a 'reimagined version' ? Yea, I've figured it out.
@@rupert2591 I'm being careful not to appear as if it's an official release by the artist in question, as that falls under deception. Thanks for your comment btw.
I much prefer the original version

I just wonder why this includes the name of Shirley Bassey?
