So elegant and classy - and just plain relaxing!
With modern society in the sad state it stands today, we so need to return to a time of civility and polished manners! We should embrace the finery.

This was an extra nice episode. I love compotes, so versative. I use mine for small cakes, cookies, candies, etc. But my favorite use is to elevate a floral arrangement; they're so much prettier when elevated.

Yes, seeing LMB's informative videos gives me hope that the look of these pieces will return to favor among the younger generation. One nit-pick--Why say you have been "gifted" with an item when there already is a perfectly good verb ("given") to use instead of twisting a noun into a verb?

I really enjoy having several of different sizes and shapes stand together or alone empty as I do enjoy admiring the patterns. Although I also love using them on the table with fruit or flowers or little desserts. They’re pretty on Buffet tables and Tea luncheons or Formal Teas.
