In this video I go over the basics of the app. In the next video we'll begin modelling using the tools learnt in this lesson.

With the new Procreate update where you can paint 3d models i just had to give sculpting a try, my first attempt wasn't great. This video basically explained all the points where I messed up, like not knowing there was a subtract tool, the masking tool is very very important when trying to make eyes, and remeshing is important for removing strange glitches. Thank you for this video, it really makes the whole process easier!
Hi, I also just started with Nomad Sculpt. How do you export your 3D model to procreate? :)
@mathiまてい I’m pretty sure you convert it to blender and save it as a other 3D file and convert it

Thanks for your vids. I have a 3D background. C4D, 3DCoat, Zbrush etc but that was many years ago. Now with my new IPad Pro I ‘m happy to see this app. So a bit rusty and therefore your vids will get me back on track..👍🏻🤜🏻

How did you change the landscape to switch the menu to the other side?
Pretty sure there is a free online version that let’s you try it out, but with saving disabled, for anyone unsure of buying it.

Me gustaria saber como puedo exportar las capas tambien la extraccion de un elemento al Z brush eso me ayudaria mucho (para que sirve el stl y glTF) porque quisiera llevar los elementos trabajados sin perder las capas ni lo extraido (en Scene) pero no llevarlo en triangulos. Can u make character models and change the position of their arms etc. as in move the completed arm into a different position and keep the model intact still?
From what I am aware.. not in this app. However you can import the model into blender. Give it a rig and then adjust the model

There is a slider at the top in the settings called ‘interface’ scroll down and select ‘flip middle’.

You can type into google images “animal skull top view” or front back and side view. That should work :)

Literally just purchased this app and watched this video first...as soon as I found out there was a Left Handed option I searched the comments for this same question hoping for an answer 🙏🏻

this is a very useful intro for nomad. thanks for this. but may i ask why you recommend turning ambient occlusion when youre rendering and when youre sculpting?
Very nice demo, but you could more clear about settings and selections. Many times I cannot tell where you were looking, even after multiple views. If you could highlight the buttons / icons / settings (like with an overlay yellow square or arrow) then it would be so much easier to follow.
Is this app friendly for people that do not have any experience in sculpting at all. I mean, i just was impressed at the art and would love to learn how to do it, but I'm not an artist or have lots of drawing experience or anything.
The app is very user friendly. If you aren’t familiar with 3D modelling software it may feel fairly new to you, however keep at it, enjoy and don’t be afraid to make mistakes :)
Does this allow for making non symmetrical sculptures?
Yes, you can turn the symmetry off in the settings
You gotta Click on that top segment to brush

Do you know what type of tablets work with this app?
It is compatible for both Android and IOS :)
I haven’t tested it on an android tablet, however I’m sure it runs just as smooth.
Is it worth the $15 tho? It looks like it, but are there major downfalls to the program? Does it charge monthly?

Blender is free and far superior to this!
I agree, but this is fantastic for an Ipad App :)
Zbrush destroys Blender even. The whole point being, Blender is not on iPad.
Blender is amazing for everything but if you need to sculpt this is better
