Pro Superbike Racer Marcel Irnie ventured south to enter the August 5th, 2018 WERA National Challenge Series at #VIR #VirginiaInternationalRaceway. Unfortunately the WERA races are gridded based on Points from Nat'l Challenge Series, and this is my first. Starting from 23rd position on row 9, I have an impossible task ahead of me to claim top 5 BMW Contingency money, to continue the "Superbike Wanderer" lifestyle.

ahh the pig pen I took a little break in the grass there on a track day many years ago...
I liked it when they would let us run the full course. Both north and south combined. Was tiring though. Love me some VIR time.

Today marks 636 days since I last raced, or ridden on a race track. When the Magic Virus Tyranny ends (hopefully) I can be back on track in the USA for winter 2021/2022?
