I fitted an S3 grill on my A3. I like them better than the honeycomb style.

On mine I’ve got two sensors on the end of the foam and a pipe running through the foam I think it’s some sort of crash detection, how do I go about this?

Hi Jack! If you have the exact grille in the video it will be tight but you can fit the grille without making any adjustments to the foam, however if you have the other grille we do for the Audi A3/S3 face lift then you would need to cut down a part of the foam. Does the ring of the grill come off separate? I'm just gonna paint my OE A3 grill ring black, leaving the silver emblem.

Yes, you can get it off, but be careful.

Glad o watched this. I was on the fence about doing it. Now convinced that’s too little bang for the buck, effort wise.
