I have made this many times so good ! When you take it off the heat add 1tsp of pure vanilla extract then stir one more time !!then pour onto your buttered pan and chill ! I've made homemade fudge for years, 5 ,x7 Pyrex dish. One can of condensed milk, one teaspoon of vanilla and a bag of baking chips whatever flavor you like, plus I like to add walnuts.
Put all ingredients in Pyrex then put in microwave keep an eye on it to make sure the chips have melted. When everything is cooked stir it up good then set in frigerator till chilled. After chilling take a butter knife and slice your squares.
Easy peasy.

I like that you use CONDENSED milk, not sweetened condensed milk, sweetened condensed milk would make this icky sweet. I add Marshmallow Fluff and it lightens it up and adds just a little more sweetness.

Okay... So here is the update
After 6 hours in the fridge and long time of waiting...I can for sure say that it was worth it. Keeping in mind that there were only two ingredients and how easy was to be made I can say that this recipe is awesome 10/10 recommended! And if you don't want to wait for that long u can always use the mixture in a different way. You can put it on bread or even mix it up with some fruits.

I made this exactly as written but it turned out gloopy, like thick fudge icing. So I froze it thinking I'd use it later for icing. I saw it in the freezer yesterday, added some cocoa and icing sugar to the mix, added some chopped walnuts and rum essence and rolled them up into little balls and coated them in cocoa powder. They were exactly like litter fudgy truffles and were absolutely delicious! I'm trying your recipe again to see if I can get it right this time.
