I had loads of fun testing this, and will continue to use it for many months/years to come. Easy to use, full of 'tech', lots of settings. What an awesome GPS Speed Meter!
0-60 in 2.0s is faster than any real production car. The Tesla Roadster is currently the fastest production car on the planet with a 'book' time of 2.1s

This product seems to be one of the first to bring true F1-style telemetry to the RC paddock.
Wow, now I'm really glad that I ordered one earlier today. I ordered one because I was tired of removing the body to get my speedrun speeds. I didn't even realize it did the 0 to xx recording. This is perfect as I was curious how fast my Limitless running on 8S was doing from 0-60mph.

Wow that's brilliant. I've got the old one and as far as I know there isn't an app to link it to is there? A big advantage is that you can hide it under the body and read the results from your phone. Don't know if I can justify buying another one but maybe! Thanks for a great review.
No App for the older one. I've had my one for a few years now, it's been in bits about 6 times..but still seems to record lol. This one feels much more 'up to date'.... going to have fun doing some more tests with it.
@@TomleyRC Yeah mine has been in half a few times and I've cable tied it up. One thing they could definitely improve is the durability or it could do with a case like a gopro and have straps so you could attach it to things. Always a pain to try and attach it. Look forward to seeing more tests of the new one.

Nice content and great video! Just a hint: When you're making a slow motion clip in Vegas (assumably), remember to lock to stretch your audio track on that clip. Right click on audio track, properties, pitch change - lock to stretch. You can thank me later xD Regards from RC-KEKET (Finland).

Something is wrong at first two graphs @10:35. Elapsed time is above 2s but white numbers below presenting time in seconds do not go over 1.6s. Did You notice that? I have the same problem. Also, when exporting to excell I see 0.2s divisions, so not 10hz refresh rate. Cant get over 12 sattellites, maybe thats the problem.

Yes it does and is very accurate. I never realized it, but I was driving about 6 miles on my runs.

Phil, when I got my Skyrc 015, I read the booklet cover to cover and it turns out that where GPS (Global Positioning System) is the U.S. satellite system, GLONAS is the Russian equivalent. Skyrc claims it uses both & can refresh up to 10 hz (10 times/sec). Given the Skyrc's abilities, I feel I was ripped off. Have you tried using the Bing map option? Doesn't work worth a crap. Mine even has tobacco pieces in the window, from my pockets.
Interesting that the blue line was always wavy. I wonder if that's a symptom of refreshing..... it looks as if it's refreshing on average about 5hz.
I've got the old 010, not really used anything other than the screen to take the speed down. I use Mac, and it doesn't connect to it so all other functions are useless. Yes, the blue line has got to be the refresh rate, you'd have thought they would program it in to ignore the refresh rate so you get a nice linear recording
