Got this a couple days ago, absolutely amazing, took a few tries to get sighting down, turns out it's the tag end on bands, also got some bandsets for 3/8 which I set this up for, I absolutely love this set up, light as a feather and durable

Installed 1.5mm bands, using 11mm aka 7/16 bearings.

There are many good answers, but the key lies right here in this article: simpleshot.academy/how-do-i-tune-my-bands-for-more-performance
So there are many band/ammo combinations that will work great. The key is tuning those bands in for your personal draw length.
That said, hurling some big steel (maybe the half inch option at simple-shot.com/sale/steel-slingshot-ammo-alternate-sizes/) with some heavy +P or even Nitro bands - simple-shot.com/accessories/bandsets/1-2-steel-bandsets/ - will give you quite the noise, when smashing a gong. :)
We don't know your level of expertise, but please be careful as you move up to the heavier bands and ammo.

Do I need to flip the bands at all for 45 degrees? Or just put them in the same way as ott and ttf?
Nope. you can treat it the same. You would normally band up in OTT configuration at 45º.
Is the axiom ocularis good, like i wanna know does it shoot fast an does it shoot far, “please respond mine is coming Monday”
I would've looked it up before I ordered it haha. I ordered mine today. I'm excited. I've been watching videos for the past 4 days on slings and found this one. You've most likely found out the answer to your question on your own from using it but from what I've seen it's a very good sling. Fast and powerful. And you can always get stronger bands too.

Absolutely. Just make sure the plug is seated well (and perhaps use a 3/8 bearing).

You don’t mention it in your video but, is it ok to use rubbing alcohol on the axiom ocularis plugs and ball bearing to aid in seating it?
I mean, would it hurt/degrade the plugs? Polycarbonate frame? etc.?

You certainly can. Just make sure you let it dry before shooting.
Will it break if i put very heavy bands on?
It should not.
Is this slingshot better than the scout?
Well, that's a matter of personal preference.
Some points to contrast:
1. The palm swell. You can't beat the Scout for a full, grippy palm swell. The Axiom Ocularis™ is a middle ground between a full palm swell and pocketability. Which leads to. . .
2. Pocketability. The Scout is a full size slingshot meaning it is not as thin as the new Axiom Ocularis™.
3. Band attachment. Some prefer Ocularis™ and some prefer FlipClips™. Honestly, you can't go wrong.
There are no cons. Just choose which pros are more important to you. :) Thanks for asking!

What is the band thickness?
The Standard Flat Bands 7/16" are made with .7mm thick latex.
The scout is only a bit more and a better frame for me. I will keep this one and work it a bit more before I pass down to another shooter.

I just bought a hunters orange torque last Saturday it still says awaiting fulfillment when should it get to me?
We only ship Monday - Friday, and we got slammed on the weekend so the orders were really stacked up. The good news is that we ship from NC, so you may well still see that order before the weekend.

This video could be a lot better. I can’t see anything you’re doing so I guess I’m just gonna have to figure it out for myself. The owners manual that came with the Ocularis isn’t much help either since it only has instructions for the wrap and tuck method.

It’s a problematic slingshot from my experience. Bands keep turning and Even pulling out sometime when shooting it.
I am so sorry you are having trouble with your Axiom Ocularis. Please be sure to have the Ocularis lugs the correct way for the type of bands that you are using.
