Torque X Owners Manual - Set up your new slingshot the right way!

But before you can enjoy it, you must make sure you set it up properly! This is an intermediate slingshot, because you have to tie on your bandset (after you tune your bands of course).
First make sure you've tuned your bands! Check out our other videos to make sure you know how to do this properly.

I just received my torque x today, easy to set up the bands.
It was about 20 years ago when I shotted a slingshot. After I set up my torque x went out side and I started shooting, what a good memories came back to me, I really love this thing!

I just ordered that slingshot today, I never tied bands on a slingshot before, but there is a first time for everything! Not to worry I have a scout XT and a scout x,as they say practice makes perfect!

I just received my torque x slingshot today, it only took me about 6 hours to get the wrap and tuck down pat to where I can do it right every time, I have never done wrap and tuck before.
But I could not be happier the torque x fits my hand like a new glove!

Torque x is a great shooter, I was abit nervous to buy the Torq sinse iam pretty much a beginner. Read where you might get frame hits. If you watch Simpleshot videos on how to shoot, you wont have any frame hits. Torg X is very comfortable and fun to shoot.

Its Bob Bussiere again with another question,
About 2 months ago I bought a torque X slingshot and I absolutely love it to death!
But I was wondering if you could make the forks about 1/4 inch longer so you can put clips on it?
But keep handle the same length, and the forks the same width. The clips and screws would have to be smaller. If you want to ask your customers there options and see what they think about it
That way we could do eather wrap and tuck or clamp.

Longer forks mean that the shooter will have a harder time holding it. Since the bands pull on the fork tips, the longer the bands are, the more leverage there is and this make accurate shooting difficult. The Torque X was made to be a tie on from only. It will not be chamnged.

Hi Nathan,
Its Bob Bussiere again, i received my torque x slingshot, and last night I was shooting at paper,
and i kept shooting high. My scout x 56mm / scout xt 58mm / and my hammer xt 58mm, while my torque x fork width is 45mm, I measured them with calipers.
I have to bring my torque x down at least 1 inch to hit the same impact point.
It's got me baffled can you please tell me why this is?
If hitting high, you will need to raise your anchor point. This will bring the impact point down.
Can you shoot it in your left hand
Yes, the Torque X can be held in either hand.
can we get a list of dimensions for this shooter?

So...
The Torque X is literally just the original Torque without the holes for the band clamps? You can just tie them on the original if you dont want to use the clamps..I'm highly confused
It has a similar shape but is a totally different slingshot. Smaller, more accommodating of a pinch grip, and does not accept looped tubes. Check out this video for more details: czcams.com/video/JMgg40-sZAI/video.html
