Superman ,and Lois never disappoint with the çinematography love the fight scene beating Eobard I understand people upset that Clark didn't go for the USB while beating him up, but I think there's actually a good reason for it. Because he's worried about Lois going through chemo, and his head's not in it usually is. Being the Caregiver to someone going through shit like cancer is exhausting even for superman.
A half-second heat blast would have solved the problem. Excuse me if I'm not buying that excuse. 20 years of experience at this job, I'm sure he's had to multitask with high stakes before, and the solution here was so simple. A better way to write this would have been for Superman not to notice that the data transfer was happening until it was actually too late. Then he wouldn't look like a moron for letting it happen
If Bruce gets to hear about how this fight went down, he'd have something to say to Clark regarding "priorities". 😁 With heat vision, or super speed, he could've destroyed that device, THEN he could've dealt with the metahuman after.
Also, Clark doesn't really use his super speed when fighting opponents who don't have it themselves. He should have easily been able to nail Deadline from across the room simply by moving so fast that Deadline would have seemed stationary.
Man, how, HOW is this on the same network as The Flash? Amazing effects, cinematography, and while there's some minor issues writing wise here the writing on this show as a whole completely and utterly schools The Flash.
Powers like that of deadline ( vibration manipulation ) make the statement that The Flash is one of the most powerful superhero who can go toe to toe with someone like superman
I think, while it may not have been the smartest assumption, that he didn't want to destroy the computer & cause the government to lose all of those secrets altogether? Idk, I could also be way off lol
man, so far my only beef with this season is that sometimes they’ll just straight up have shots of clark’s season 1-2 suit instead of his new one, and it’s surprisingly noticeable sometimes, especially here 0:46
I noticed it during the scene where Lois talks the Judge down, but i do think its still the "new suit" but they may use the suit with the flat symbol for flight and fight scenes, but the new symbol definitely looks better so hopefully they'll just start using that
i’m thinking they’re just using old flight shots for the suit, which is weird cuz the first episode had flight shots of the new one so i assumed they shot new ones and would only use the old suit for quick shots nobody would notice like in the Atom Man fight
@@DArtmanreignz - He could have also used super speed to avoid Deadline's attacks *and* fire a shot of heat vision at the computer - all with Deadline being too slow to interfere.
@@ChrisyCJMoon - That raises the question though: why can't Kryptonian nanotechnology produce a suit that protects from things like Kryptonite and red solar radiation? Superman has access to tech that even John could never understand. But he only uses it for family reunions and training Jordan.
While this was a cool fight scene and all, I swear Superman is being written dumber this season because the plot says so. Superman enters the room and clearly sees the computer monitor with a Download/Transfer bar filling up and for some reason, he doesn't destroy the computer or the device the intruder planted on it with his heat vision. It's not like the intruder could stop him from doing that, his power is phasing, so unless the dude was willing to shield the device with his own body, which wouldn't last very long or be very effective, there was nothing stopping Superman from preventing the stealing of that intel. It's almost as dumb as running in a straight line towards the thug with Kryptonite energy weapons instead of using heat vision to disarm him at a distance. You can't say Superman was trying to prevent property damage here, it's the DOD. They can afford a new computer. That stolen intel though is priceless. Plus last week Superman destroyed DOD property with his heat vision that was being used to store his blood. Hell, he doesn't even need to destroy the computer, just remove the transfer device with super speed and crush it.
His focus was on stopping the enemy and preventing him from killing more DOA agents. Not stopping the download. Preserving life is always more important to Superman. Besides,What would stop Bruno from just sending another henchman to try stealing the data again?
@@Dhampir101980 He's Superman, he can stop the device and the enemy without more deaths, super speed to pick up the device, heat vision to explode or cold breath to make an entire computer block of ice, it was just poorly written to have what with worry about the future of the series 😂😂
I've noticed that since season 1, that they have Superman not do the obvious solution or make stupid fighting decisions just to keep the plot going. It's the biggest weakness in the writing of this show if you ask me.
@@ricardos3528 I know. He tried all three of those methods in the fight to stop the bad guy, because, again, that was his focus. The fight took longer then Clark thought it would because of the bad guy’s ability to phase and the Kryptonite he was trying to stab Clark with. The DOD is the government facility. Do you really think that the one data console is the only one they have? Like I said, what exactly would have stopped Bruno from simply sending another henchman to get the intel from one of their backup data bases, which they absolutely have?

Just because he is best at something that doesn't mean he gonna win everything when people are expected to

That’s actually a good point. If your head’s not in the game you make stupid mistakes, even Superman.
Eobard? As in, the Reverse Flash?
Impressive adversary and impressive fight, but Superman ultimately won by figuring out when to strike the enemy when he can phase his body.
One thing i do wish S&L did more of was featuring some of supermans rogues

Welp I know one thing for sure if dceu batman was to fight this superman with krytonite he will fail lol
Lol,Superman has different S from season 2 here 0:46,they used old footage from season 2,but here 1:22 he has he’s season 3 suit, lol
budget reasons. this show doesn't have a large budget, so they reuse a lot of footage from season 01 and 02. but they reuse it in a smart way.
Why didn’t he destroy the computer
Because the show has to go on and get more serious. That's how the write the story line

The Superman vs Deadline fight kinda reminds me of the Minato vs Tobi fight from "Naruto"... love it!

He wouldn't be able to calibrate the speed properly, it would likely kill him which is what Superman is trying not to do 👑
Only for the flash
