  • Hey everyone, in this video we take a little trip to South Webster Ohio to pick up a new Enorossi Caddy 8 V-Rake. We are going to put it to work soon and it should really help to speed things up from our old wheel rake.

Looks good. I’ve had an H&S v-rake for close to 15 yrs now. You’ll like it 👍

Those rakes are time saver they pick up all the grasses.

Hopefully you will keep yours in the barn when not in use. I just bought a Panorama 8 wheel, it's been sitting outside uncovered for years, the hydraulic lines look bad.

I don’t have enough shed space yet to store inside but hopefully will be able to in a few years before the weather gets to it to bad. Thanks for watching!

Glad to see they still make that model. I just bought the exact same thing from the people that summer cows here and bale my hay for themselves. My rake is in pretty good shape considering their son is rough on equipment. They bale for about 120 beef plus a little custom. They bought it new in 2011 and it doesn't have the kicker wheel...Yet. His newer tractors have dual hydralics so he took the Tee's out to run 2 new hoses and operate the 2 sides seperately. They should have installed a restrictor because I watched the son raise and lower each side very quickly which is hard on it but it did survive. I'm putting it back to the way it was cause I have single outlets. They bought a new, heavier, better wheel rake. I think it's a well made rake and if used correctly will last a long time. I see on the brochier that you can reverse the setup and it will tedder too. Are the 4 arms going to the wheels supposed to be unlocked when raking? These never were. Hope you're happy with yours. From Mid Mi.

Yeah definitely need a restrictor with that setup, yeah they are supposed to be unlocked so the arms will float up and down, I actually reversed my old rake one time to Tedder instead of rake it worked okay but not like a true Tedder, I recently purchased a new enorrossi tedder to go along with the rake i think it’s going to work out great, running way behind on hay this year due to weather hopefully get to cut this weekend.

If it's like my older frontier rake you will regret buying it if you have any good thickness of hay! Hope you kept your old bar rake! I have hated my 8 wheel rake since the day I brought it home 4 yrs ago! Unfortunately I haven't been able to upgrade since the price of cattle have been so low for so long but everything else shore isn't low I have to purchase!!!

We are very happy with it, we are running a bit behind but are going to have some soil samples coming back soon and more videos on the progress our hay is ready to cut and I believe we are going to have quite a bit better yield on our first cut
