Totally agree with you guys. Google and Amazon are more interested in providing their Servers to track the traffic, and not make deliveries with quads. Concerning the implementation of Remote ID per the current FAA requirements: A sort of Remote ID is already built on the DJI Fly App. Making it available to a 3d party (law enforcement officer) needs special receiver hardware. DJI built such a special receiver for a demo to the FAA, which was rejected (because it is proprietary?). The current FAA Remote ID technical requirements on paper do not make any technical interference sense, and it is unlikely that there will ever be a consensus among foreign Chinese manufacturers for a common agreement on how to implement them. Because DJI has the great majority of the market, the FAA should get an agreement with them that everyone will then follow. Otherwise, it will remain on paper and will never get implemented. The remote ID has to be part of the same frequency communication signal between the Quad and the RC; it can not be implemented using another signal frequency. The FAA should grandfather all existing quads.
Things that aren't about safety, 1 drone regulations 2 Marijuana regulations 3 gun regulations 4 vaping regulations 5 forced lockouts and forced mask regulations.....just to name a few.
While we in the drone hobby should be focused on drones we should not take our eyes off the greater prize which is freedom in general. All those things listed above are near and dear to my heart but we must care about ALL the freedoms because government is after everything.
@@realdad32 Your above comment could just as well have said "things that are about fascism and controlling the public". It really is a worrying trend. Is WW2 really that long ago that we're forgetting about it?
This is the best explanation of what's coming I've seen, of course it comes from XJet haha. I have a feeling Amazon actually would like to offer air delivery in the future though if/when we get better battery tech, it will be prohibitively expensive for the average person but, if you want something in 15 minutes or less and are willing to pay I could see it becoming reality as for people not wanting drones capable of killing people flying over head I honestly don't think governments or Amazon give a damn what people want if it means more profit. Laws are not voted on by people, I'm pretty sure they're voted on by shape shifting reptile beings from the 5th dimension.
I just want to fly my lil Kwad no more than 60m from the ground in an empty space with my GF/spotter calling out dog walker if need B @ X o'clock ...what did I do wrong 🤔
Hmmm are you sure all of that is accurate? I think that prime air is more than infrastructure, it is actual drone delivery, they already have the mk27 drone
Xjet is absolutely correct about what's going on...great analogy with how radio started out. Don't get me started on AirMap. Great vid, Michael.
Bruce 100% on point once again.

Remote ID? Oh yeah... that’s the FAA horsesh!t I won’t be complying with. Now I remember it!
Every time I hear the word "comply" I just think "fascism".
Very good points!
All hail Bruce. All mighty destroyer of BS.

I have seen investment boards full of people excited to invest in air born drone delivery..I try to warn them...lol..
