KUNAFA INGREDIENTS
250 ML MILK
2 tBSP SUGAR
2 TBSP CORN FLOUR
¼ TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
4 CUBES CREAM CHEESE
½ CUP WATER
½ CUP SUGAR
1 TSP KEWRA WATER
350 GMS VERMICELLI
½ CUP BUTTER
1/8 TSP ORANGE FOOD COLOR

ماشاءاللہ جی ماشاء اللہ بہت خوب ھم سعودی عرب میں ھوٹل سے خرید کر کبھی کبھی کھایا کرتے ہیں کیسے بنایا جاتا ھے آج پتہ چلا انشاء اللہ جلد ہی کوشش کریں گے اور یہ ریسپی ھم نے اپنے گھر کے 5 ممبرز کے ساتھ بھی شئیر کی ھے اللّٰہ حافظ ھمیشہ خوش رہیں آمین یارب العالمین
⚖️ Measurements:
🍦 For cream:
250 ml Milk
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Cornflour
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
80 g cream cheese
🍬 For sugar syrup:
1/2 cup or 125 ml water
100 g sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp kewra water
🎂 For base:
350 g vermicelli
1/2 cup butter
1/8 tap orange color
🥜 Garnish:
Pistachio powder
Cream cheese matlab fresh cream
Do we need to use roasted vermicelli

This is a traditional Egyptian sweet dish. I'm British Pakistani, but my lodgers were fresh from Egypt.
Everytime they went back home, they'd gift us with Kunufa, and it's soo delicious! Light, or fluffy hain. Halka sa meetha hain, istra ka dish perfect hain, choti Eid kali 👌 (Eid ul fitr). Barri Eid, zada suit karta hain, gulab jaman, or heavy rich wala khana (in my opinon).
Choti Eid kali: Russ malai, Samiyya, Zarrda, Kunufa, chicken pilau with raitha.
Barra Eid: Ghee wala parttha, meat Biryani, Pokora's.

I have tried it twice. First time it was a flop show .. sewiyan suggested instead of actual kunafa sewiyan did not work out.. then i bought actual kunafa sewiyan and made it .. alhumdulillah it was good.

Hi! Some people on other channels have commented that the vermicelli becomes too hard after cooking it and that is not how it is made (they said it must be made with the white thin vermicelli). Is that true?
Kunafa is actually made with kunafa dough which is not available evert where hence I have given an alternative

No they weren't soft but are good substitute to kataifi dough....the one prepared with kataifi dough is best but u can use the thinnest vermicelli available in ur area😊 hope this helps..
