That guitar tone is fucking brutal
It’s the thickest distortion and Billy made it so musical
Nobody does what he can.....Funkified Madman on the level above where we reside
Marshall lead 12
He uses a peso for a pick to get those harmonics.
Recycler is their most underrated album. It's my personal favorite. This is powerful blues rock.
I'm 55 I grew up with real rock
This is it
I was fortunate to have met Dusty on Beale Street in Memphis back in 2008 and talked with him about 15 minutes. He was a really humble man🙏🏾
The guitar riffs in this song are Beyond superb absolutely badass I don't know how anybody could not like this song if you're in to rock and roll
Should have been included on Best of ZZTop. Know there's some missing decades there...
100% 🤘🤘🤘
🔥🔥💯
Amen!
Agreed!
Billies guitar tone is amazingly good !
RIP Dusty Hill. I had to check out the "Top" this evening, and it doesn't get much better than this.
Doing a retrospective myself....so much incredible music from the 70s to the 90s....
DUSTY HILL
Dusty!!!!!!
I’m here with you doing the same…..
perfect driving music.
Favorite song by ZZ Top. That heavy blues groove just crushes.
R.I.P. Dusty
This is my favorite ZZ Top song. 💗💔🙏😢
Me too!
"But I was stumbling through the parking lot of an invisible seven eleven" has to be one of the best lines in a song ever...
What was I doin' out There¿
Agree 100%
Swear to God I wonder if the meaning of this song is just them talking about tripping balls
The line about the naked cowgirl is pretty unique too.
Agreed
Rock in Peace Dusty
My face just melted.
Sub sonic bass on the lowest notes with clarity on the higher bass notes. Perfect. RIP Dusty. Well done.
Absolutely. Hear this song on a really good hifi rig with some musical (not boomy) subwoofers..
One of their best! R.I.P Dusty. You are already missed.
Amen indeed. A great song..
0000009p p000 0p you are poo 0pup7p]p]⁰
sub 20hz?
that's the absolute lowest freq that our ears might hear.
My favourite American band. My favourite band is the Beatles but my heads in Mississippi
Zz top türünün en iyi örneğidir ve en iyisidir.
Kesinlikle çok seviyorum.
Гитарры Гиббонса и Хилла - это что-то невероятное...
My favorite band. Could listen to them all day and night. Great in concert.
Some people do listen to them all day and night 😳
I know what you mean. I've been hearing this song hundreds of times (often at full volume on my hifi 120 watt speakers)... probably my fav.
Dusty and Elvis. Finally jamming together. Heaven's got the best music now.
dusty on bass, srv on lead & elvis on vocals. yeah i'd pay a dollar or two to see that show.
That's why you want to be there.
Are you ready?
Godspeed Dusty, everything is on the way somewhere.
Rip dusty Hill keep rocking
By far the best zz-top song! The guitar licks are priceless!!!
My roommate is a fan of classic blues. He asked me, not long after Dusty's death, how I would describe ZZ Top. I said "Texas blues rock". He didn't get it...until I played this for him.
RIP, Dusty. You will be sorely missed.
Interesting... so what would you call it then ?
@@simoneric8183 his definition of blues is strictly the 12-bar variety.
@@TheRealTronGuy Dusty never forgotten, sadly missed.😭
An absolutely classic track from a truly classic band. Love them to bits!
I hear ya they came to Buffalo NY and they were awesome
one word to describe. these guys " GREAT"!
@@charlesnicholson3494 I was there with my son and I can tell you they absolutely killed it.
@@rmendel1000, raising that boy right, on a Saturday night !
I love them oodles. Honest.
I'm 61 years old. Kids today say people my age don't know what music is. I just smile and walk away.
Well im 50 and, i just play Slipknot or Rammstein, then they shut up lol. But this is also great great Music
They never heard good rock unless they go back to the day 😊
Rad ❤
You can't teach intelligence to someone with a worm brain.
The tide pod generation is having kids now so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Heavyweight contender for ZZT's best tune ever, in my opinion.
Gosh, one of ZZ TOPS' great little forgotten gems. It's songs like this that make the band so good.
One of my faves for Dusty Hill, RIP sir we will miss you.
Incredible guitar tone.
My first time hearing this song today. I can't stop listening to it!!!!!
Rock on, man
I keep thinking of the night in Mephis unbeatable!
Best ZZ song ever.
Música para hombres
I've seen them live a couple of times and like most of their stuff, but this one is my stone cold favorite of all time. One my all time favorite rock songs, period.
It tells an odd, little story; doesn't it? Sorta like what I envision coming down from an LSD trip while shacked up in a really sleey West Texas motelto be like. Oh, wait; I already know what that's like.
They played it last night here in San Antonio.. I agree Blues Rock at it's best..
It's 2022 and still gives me happy feet! I saw the Recycler tour in the 90s!!!
This one and Balinese are in a dead-heat for my #1
@lauramountjoy8775 The Recycler tour was my first ZZ concert. I've seen them 12 more times since then. This is still one of my all time favorites. I also got arrested in a 7-Eleven parking lot in 1990. Go figure.
This sound is the Heart Beat of ZZ Top. R.I.P Dusty
My favorite song by these guys, RIP Dusty!!!
Had to catch a few ZZ Top tunes today in memory of Dusty Hill, another rock legend heads to the Big Festival!
Zz top is amazing
I’m 63 I had Tres Hombres when I was 16. It was on 8 track. Then I bought it on vinyl. Then I bought it on cassette then I bought it on cd. Now I listen to it on u-tube Bluetooth to my car and speakers at home .
Keep your vinyl and CDs. Nothing beats physical media. That invisible streaming download crap sucks.
HELP, i cant stop listening to this song!!! One of the hardeat riffs ever... how is it possible to not love this fn song!!! Blues w a f u attitude!!!
Grew up listening to ZZ Top....Two of my first albums...yes albums..were Fandango and Tres Hombres.... followed ZZ all my life...even through the MTV pop/rock period... always sticking with them no matter what... I've been fortunate to see them in concert twice .. Great.. great.. concerts!! I just guess that Heaven needed another Bassist Extraordinaire... Going to miss you everyday Dusty.... God bless you!!!ZZ Top Forever !!🎸
Masterpiece.❤🥊💯🔥

Hold the line ZZ TOP!
Listening to their great music out of respect. RIP and rock the afterlife just as you rocked this one.
My favorite…!
Just what we're they trying to say about Mississippi? Boy if this video came out today feelings would get hurt! Black man dancing among cotton bails, rebel flag hung up in a bar, lol, whatever, will always be one of MY favorites
Yes..I've always loved this song too
Gotta say this, ZZ top did have some lookers in their videos.
Went to a ZZ show last April. Didn't make it back home until 2 weeks later
This was the #1 track at Rock Radio in 1990, now lost entirely to time and the whims of modern music research.
Yahoo ir is
So that means that now, 3 years later, the song is even "loster" to time? And it's weird that you use the word "modern" in a post that's 3 years old. Kinda gives new perspective on the passage of time, and the vague parameters as to when "modern" ends and then gradually deteriorates in terms of functionality and popularity, thus becoming old-fashioned and then archaic, and finally objects of antiquity or legend, all but lost in the mists of time. Same thing happens to "futuristic".
@@The_DC_Kid lol yep basically its all happening at once and we are talking terminology or semantics if you like
or steves an asshole in another space time
@@davidmckibben2122 When I re-read my comment it sounded kinda like something from a Pink Floyd song, and as if I was STONED or something. "Welllcooommme to the MACHINE".
wow!!!!
My fav ZZT song
Pure Class from the legends. These guys been my hero’s since I was 11. I started playing guitar because of them. Still love them just as much to this day. This stuff is what made the US awesome back in the day. Hot girls, good music and Class Muscle cars. Pure testosterone back when men with beards were real men.
one of my favorite songs of all time... especially in a car with a kick ass stereo (need to get one of those again)... the guitar will bite you.... hearing it on a cell phone speaker just can't let you hear it the way it was meant to.
ZZ Top blues.says it all. *** ;).
Time to do that Mississippi wine 🍷🥂
Billy Gibbons is and always will be one of the greatest. Road music beyond compare! There will never be three men who will do better. ....
THUS-----THE LITTLE OLE BAND FROM TEXAS!!! JD. Goldsberry, KY.
You're preaching to the choir brother.
Not just the music but the video is superb.i saw them in Memphis on the antenna tour at the pyramid with jackyl what a blast.
Fucking ZZ Top, sure rocked the 80's .
It sure was a good time.
YEAH I LOVE you guys
great song
Have mercy ZZ Top is the best 🤠🤠🤠
God I miss the 70s and 80s, louder cars slower cars , Better music, ect is way better than the 21st century
Man, listen to that guitar tone...you can just hear the grease oozing out of the speaker cabinets. Absolutely filthy...Billy has always managed to get unbelievable tones out of his guitars.
this keeps intruding into my head...for the last couple of days even in my sleep...got a piece of the rhythm today on the les Paul...love that feeling...got me some ese ! buy an axe an git yew sum...
Mid South coliseum Memphis was a hell of a night lol
I've heard and played this song a thousand times in all my vehicles growing up. I'm 52 now and for the 1st time watched the video. 2 words: Bad Ass!
Yup.good old Texas boys, ZZ Top.
Coolest zz song, been listening to it since 1993 back in iran . Love the songs when they mention US towns & states. Texas sand , memphis, mississippy.
My heads in Heaven every time I hear this song!
Best zz top song ever.

Been listening to them all my life, there will never be another group like them, I seen them at the fox in ATL.
*ZZ TOP ROCKS*

I‘ve seen ZZ Top several times here in Germany, always TOP! R.I.P. Dusty!
Gotsta ❤ some ! ZZ top 🌟😉🤙

@@genebingle1754 I was watching the live version of tush. LOL their beard's was sideways from the wind 😂 awesome & been a minute since I seen'em spinning their guitar & bass . Epic 🎼🎸
Maybe the best , and no doubt about it the coolest rock n roll band of all time.
Abso- fucking-lutely!!!!
Met Billy in Daytona and talked with him for almost an hour, he was there with Cadzilla & Hogzilla. Smart man and incredible talent!
Fred Cecil o man I’m jealous!
HUNG OUT WITH THESE BOYS DAYTONA BEACH >>>MOLLY BROWNS!!!
Helt Konge 🎸🎼🤘🤘🤘
I Love ZZ top
The Blues has got a hold on me, I believe I'm gettin' dizzy
@Hound19745 I'm Shufflin' through the Texas sand
I've always thought of ZZ Top as heavy metal blues. This song is awesome
some is a blues to a DISCO beat
James Harrell Jr. Southern Rock not heavy metal
I know it's southern rock but the guitar in this song is very heavy
No. The Boys are NOT southern rock !
barry morris fgds , this is pure undiluted rock , stfu and deal with it ,,,
The pinch harmonics in this song is out of this world
Billy be the Baddest Man Walking with Dusty and Frank Shufflin’ right on in there! Two Feet and A Heartbeat Forever!
Love the Little ol band from TEXAS!!!! The Rev Billy is just too cool!!
This Song is the Shit...LOve It
I love ZZ Top always
Yes sir Texas Proud !!
Their best track
One of my favorite bands
That Marshall amp is drilling my head with lots and lots of beutiful notes and sounds...makes me go nuts in a happy way, sort of :)
Memphis is Heaven. Rendezvous dry ribs, baby! Beal Street!
