If you have the DLC stuff enabled, go all the way to the Old Mill in the very far north east of the map (Velen/Novigrad) and grab the 100 weight saddle bags from the Zerrikanian vendor!

for making money in the blood and wine, don't kill the leader of the bandit. If you fast travel back the bandits will reappear and you can loot their weapon and sell it. Most of the vendor in blood and wine have tons of crowns. 1000crowns is generated every 5 days.
1:09 if weight is an issue, sort the "other" section of your inventory by weight and drop all of your bear hides and rope ladders. Late game you will not need any materials from them and early game you'll want to be dismantling hides you find.
My last play through I went Triss. That was years ago on console. I’m on pc now doing a whole new play through and a fresh start. This time, I’m going team Yenn. Playing this game again, it makes me sad because other games I’ve played since feel so heartless and soulless in comparison. There’s one or two that feel good, better than most. But this game is my absolute favorite. This is a timeless journey and amazing story with some of, if not, the best characters in video game history.

Yup, first played this game on ps4 7 years ago, doing a fresh playthrough now with my newly built PC. In 7 years, only game that grabbed me like this was Elden Ring
I jumped in on my last save on the hardest difficulty and completely forgot wtf I was doing
Seems like a good opportunity to start from scratch to get the full experience.
I was going to jump on game + with all my resources at the hardest difficulty but started a brand new game at regular difficulty instead until I remember how the controls work, then I will jump on game +.

There are only two games that made me cry after I finished them, RDR 2 and The Witcher 3. I can't wait to replay this at 60fps!

What is the best build to go for? My first play through I made stupid mistakes and chose things from different builds. I’m playing through for a second time and want to be smart about what I choose. I did put a point into fast combat and then accidentally did one in strong and I’m so pissed. I know you can change this around later game but what a dumb mistake. I also like to add to Axi(SP?) early game because I find that is helpful. Any tips on what is really best would be great. Thanks!
Team Yennifer for sure. She reminds me of an old girlfriend. When I realized that she is voiced by Denise Gough, Star Wars newest villain, it just made me love her more. Really looking forward to replaying this.

On a personal level I’m team Triss but for Geralt it has to be Yen
Remember to LOOT the monster nests you destroy. I always placed bomb and ran away.
My problem is I killed the monsters at 2 different nests in White Orchard but don’t have the bombs to destroy them. I don’t have enough coin to buy the ingredients needed
I also need to learn what to sell, dismantle, etc
They reduce the requirement ability point. The old one have 5 level. The new one have 3 level.. does the glitch in killing spree [highest green skill] ability fixed?

I've always been team yen but this play through it will be triss cause yen is kind of horrible to geralt in the game short with him and pretty manipulative always leaving something out when she needs his help it seems. Never gives him the full details where triss is open and seems like she cares for geralt more through expressions and dialogue

Hi there. Is there a way to see what items merchant has that you dont have? I mean i have tons of different alchemy items and i want to get the ones I dont have currently on me so now i just look through my enventory for each item thet merchant sells and that takes time... And ''compare item'' does not work in this case...
Another one is related to bolts, arrows. I created several and i think its not same a bombs, like you dont get it replenished after meditation. Is it correct? The ammount of bolts is not that big and i think not worth to spend resources on. I know there are arrows/bolts that are unlimited so im talking about other ones taht have quantity.

In alchemy tab you can pin the formula missing ingredients and they will be highlighted in merchants tab

You want the Yrden sign, it keeps the wraiths visible so you can wail on the long enough to kill them
I was bummed they changed the perks. My favorite build is to simple now. Used to take like 32 points, now takes like half that

@@femmenic it's an adrenaline/tank build using a lot of potion perks. Basically adrenaline boosts my dmg and signs and it's really tuff for me to loose it, then I use oils for more defence and poison,and finally decoctions to boost various things as needed but they all give me more HP. If you want I can boot up the game and post it here. Feels very witcher-e. Essentially the whole build was 5 perks invested into every skill and now it's 3

I'm at level 27 and I'm starting to overflow with ability points. Got all the things I need in the combat and alchemy trees, combined with the cat school, glutton and lvl 3 axii stuff. I could branch into signs and easily max that out by level 50.
i know im a little 7 months late to this, but ik there are people who struggle with how long they should meditate when they are put to meditate for days like "come back after a few days to retrieve your new sword" or something like that. To meditate for a full day you need to look at what hour you are at, lets say 5 pm, we will meditate one hour more so 6 pm, then move the clock back to 5 pm again. That's how you meditate the fastest for one day
i can only upgrade each skill to 3 not to 5 ...why is that?

hi norzza, i have a PS4 and in order to play the new dlc missions do i need to start playing the game from beginning? becuse although i have downloaded the new patch but i dont see the way to play the new missions?
The new content is available on PS4, but the graphical changes, new camera mode etc. arent. Check my other recent video on how to unlock the new content. :)

My first playthrough I went with Yen. The other 7 or 8 can't remember I went with triss. I like Yen from the books but I fucking hate the one from the game. So there is that.

The only problem I have had so far non-graphics wise is that they pseudo-nerfed food Vit Regen by nerfing the Regen by 80% but increasing base duration to 30 or 60 seconds. I play on Story and Sword difficulty and this change sucks.
That's to make up for the fact on that difficulty you can recover health by meditating.
Swallow is meant to be used for in combat healing.
Food is for long term healing in the higher difficulties really.
But... If you're playing it on story and sword, why do you even need that? Are you playing with only your left foot or something?

I usually avoid games that nearly require you to have perfect precision with dodging and parrying (Dark Souls, Bloodborne) and one of the things that made combat somewhat forgiving was the food regen+gourmet and this has almost tanked any interest in playing further. It is a valid concern to add such a harsh combat nerf 7ish years after realease and it either shouldn't have made into the game at all or should be one of the toggleable Gameplay options.
@@MetaCynical but... With the difficulty turned all the way down, you can face-tank literally everything. You don't even NEED heals because meditating fully restores your potions AND health.
I'm really not trying to come across as an elitist dick right now, but what you're complaining about right now is basically the antithesis of playing a video game at all. You're basically saying you want to stroll from point A to point B with literally zero effort and watch cutscenes. I legitimately do not understand how the easiest difficulty is too hard for you.
@@Happyfoam-lw3yt I guess the elitist dick came out anyway and made you forget that video games are for entertainment and with the changes I am no longer entertained and am now frustrated. Story and Sword, btw, is the second difficulty level, not the lowest as I USED to like a bit more of a challenge. No more so it seems, so I will have to lower the difficulty, wait for mods to "fix" my problem or uninstall.
Regardless this is an issue, modernized graphics upgrades are fine and all, but forced difficulty increase is atrocious. If you don't like the facts, eff off back to Death March and keep your nose out of legitimate concerns that do not affect you.

the quick cast is the biggest game changer for console players
It’s actually a pretty slow combination of input like you can’t press both buttons for it to come out fast there is a delay of some sort I found myself reverting to the original casting
I will always be team Yen. One tip. If you choose Yen and want it to stay that way, don’t sleep with other women because the ending may not be what you want.
I was always discouraged from playing the Witcher because of the crafting & alchemy feels too much :(

Replaying currently, i dont think i can go team triss. I told myself this playthrough would be different but i end up choosing the same path with quests as well, its hard lol
Triss is my personal preference but I always pick team yen because I feel it's unfair to ciri and yen to make geralt go out of character that way and be selfish

My introduction to the Witcher was 3 and then 2 so naturally I was team triss (sucker for a red head) I loved it so much I read the books (twice) and now there just isn't any other choice than yennefer or lobe wolf and just Geralt and ciri all the way

You can change back to the old camera in the gameplay options if you want to change it back.

This game was just too complex for me. I abandoned it back in 2015, and now that I tried again with the next-gen update, it just became a chore again.
I guess it’s not for everyone. Pretty simple compared to other games I’ve played
i could see that.. at first. But if you stick with it for say 10 hours, everything is just second nature.
What’s a chore for you exactly ? This is one of the most casual games out there , it’s piss easy and mainly a fun story game . Mechanics are pretty simple and you don’t really have to engage with them if you don’t want to like crafting for example . You can literally just do quests and upgrade your skills that’s all
Honestly, I just figured it out after 8 years. Had it on the PS4 when it came out, couldn’t figure it out. Now, I have it on the Series X, and I can’t put it down. Kinda feel bad, just got my Wife Hogwart’s Legacy, and she hasn’t found a game that has pulled her in, in years. Now, here I am always playing Witcher 3, and she wants to club me over the head, to play her game. Lol, honestly once you figure this game out. It’s insanely fun. Frustrating at times, but very fun nonetheless.
I first played it maybe a year after it launched and felt the same, too complex. I’m playing it now on next gen and am enjoying it much more
