    Great review. Your video was one reason I bought one recently. 2016 Bitdi. Thank you, love the car.

    Had one of these on a two year lease. Really sad when it went back. Epic performance.

    This car still drives fabulous even at 140000 miles. I can vouch for that.

      Is there anything you should look out for on these when buying one? Any common faults? You said you worked for Audi. Cheers.

      @@bully5aw I worked in sales for 4 years and never encountered or heard of any issues to be honest. I think like anything, regular oil changes and being mechanically sympathetic always helps as does decent fuel! Most diesels suffer turbos snd EGR cooler problems at some stage but it’s not specific to the BiTurbo.

    That tiptronic 8 gearbox seems very good.

      The bi turbo engine is awesome, and being coupled to a silky smooth gearbox makes the car an unbelievable drive

    Very nice video! I want to buy one but i am not sure wheter i should buy the 3.0 bitdi with the tiptronic or the 3.0 tdi with around 270bhp and stronic. Is the power difference hard noticable and would you prefer the fast stronic or the smooth tiptronic?

    • @BarrieCrampton
      @BarrieCrampton  Před 5 lety +2

      both are fantastic, but bi turbo is awesome, i like the smooth tiptronic box, i never drive fast or am in need of anything savage, i prefer comfort and quiet

      Tiptronic 100% by far more reliable and more engaging. The tiptronic transmission is the most reliable from Audi so far, then multitronic will be second and then the S tronic the least reliable.

    • @johnbentall5105
      @johnbentall5105 Před 3 lety +1

      With one turbo providing the low end boost the car tends to feel out of breath when accelerating hard to above 80 mph. On the BiTDi with two turbos optimized for low and mid-high, the acceleration to very high speeds is seamless. One would expect very similar behaviour with a petrol turbo. So an Impreza with a turbo optimised for ultimate performance suffers badly from low-end turbo lag.

    Is that the standard exhaust system that comes with every BiTDI or has it got an optional Audi active exhaust system? Sounds awesome!

    • @starlinegaming5068
      @starlinegaming5068 Před 4 lety +1

      That's standard if you buy the BiTDI, had it in my allroad for 5 years and loved it

    Hows the ride is the e class better

    • @BarrieCrampton
      @BarrieCrampton  Před 4 lety

      it's a little different, you can feel the road more through the Audi, but some people won't like that

    • @johnbentall5105
      @johnbentall5105 Před 3 lety

      Audi's in particular are sensitive to wheel size. My car rides better and crashes into potholes less on 17"'s then on 20"'s. I also have SE suspension rather than S-line sports suspension. With this set-up the ride is fine.

    • @johnbentall5105
      @johnbentall5105 Před rokem

      @@user-mc2kk8yf5z It depends on what one has driven before and how you drive it. I am a slow-in, fast-out driver and do not find the body-roll bothersome. If you want to experience real-g-forces then you need an RS6!
