Great video. I’m from London but spent my summer holidays in my mums home town. I still as an adult need to visit once or twice a year and then onto the stunning Donegal.
Love Derry
Us too!
Yes, loved it. You two have it down. I learn from you every time I watch one of your videos!
Wow, thank you so much, we really appreciate your kind words. And we appreciate you watching!
Thanks for the amazing video! Happened across your channel while looking at Ireland travel vlogs since we’re headed there in a couple of months and learned so much! Can’t wait to see many more of your travels!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great time in Ireland, it's one of our favourite countries to visit. We go back again and again.
Amazing travel guide presented in this video. You guys are great story-teller!
Thank you so much, that means a lot and we are glad that you liked it.
Such a great and comprehensive travel guide! Well done
Thank you very much! I am glad you enjoyed it
Wow! Great video!! I live in Derry. You captured the city so well
Thank you very much. That means a lot coming from someone who lives there.
Beautifully made video of derry/Londonderry. Thank you so much
Its just derry pal
If you say londonderry again the Ra will break up your gaff
Derry
Great video, miss that place already. We usually rent out a rental house for about a 1-2 month summer vacation every so often. Stay outside the walls near st eugene's. Everyone should visit derry!
Soon will be there 😍
My gran lived 3 doors away from free derry corner wall. When it was a terraced housed estate.
Thanks for the info... about how many days do you suggest staying and visiting?
You can see a lot in one day, but two is ideal. I suggest staying 2 nights so that you have two full days in Derry.
My paternal ancestors came from Londonderry. I’m in the southern US.
*Derry
@@Buttonsshallbepushed Do you live there?
@@user-uv9fz5rw4z No, I have Irish family. If your ancestors came from Derry, you should call it Derry.
When I learned about their coming to America, the name “Londonderry” was used. I believe it was in the mid 1700s.
@@user-uv9fz5rw4zPay no heed to the Derry/Londonderry debate. It's only people that aren't from here that tend to debate out it!
We do just call it Derry though, no matter our backgrounds.
I'd like to visit Derry/Londonderry before it becomes multi cultural, like London or Dublin have, so I can see the history and culture, it looks a good place
We loved it there. So much history. I think it is defnitely underrated.
Never call it londonderry
Derry you mean.
👏👏🌹👏👏
Thank you
Ik where that is
That is negative headline to your film, UNDERRATED, nothing underrated about Derry, 1000s visit every year, and for the past 20 or more years is a city going places.
Derry is amazing! We agree. We find that most people we know only spend a day trip there but we don't know everyone, so hopefully you are correct, it's a fantastic city to visit.
Can I fire the cannons?
Haha, unfortunately no.
fun fact:my friend's dad owns walled city slice
Doire - Éire
Correctly pronounced strə-BAN
Thank you!
Derry please ❤.. always, every day.
Only thing to do in the north is to take it back ☘️🍀
Did you see pennywise
Awww the palestine flag at 3:17. Similar to Derry, I hope that Palestine will be free from their oppressor within our lifetime too, lovely video and I can't wait to visit this place
What hamas?
It’s Ireland. There is only one Ireland England Divided Ireland against The referendum
But you free staters were quite happy with the status quo. Dev and Co just like to talk about it. Born with a republic gold spoon in yer gub. Best we quiet, even Donegal and the other Ulster counties were forgotten and left undeveloped.
Londonderry
You are correct. It is Londonderry officially. Most people we met called it Derry as I think it is just easier to say. Londonderry is a long word :)
@@ThePlanetD 99% of people in the city call it Derry.
David behave 🤣 "Derry"
@@ThePlanetDthat's because derry is 80% roman Catholic.
Derry all day, everyday...
It's Londonderry no need for the political correctness or appeasing those that don't like it.
Too political
It's history.
