We were in Sintra in May 2023. I didn’t want to spend the time going into Pena Palace so I didn’t buy the timed ticket. But they wouldn’t let us even walk around the terraces. So we hardly got to see the palace at all. By biggest disappointment of the fabulous two weeks I spent in Portugal. I would recommend buying the tickets and if you don’t go inside you don’t have to. My second biggest disappointment was not spending more time at the Quinta de Reqaleira. If you can, visit the Palace of Monserrate It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Also, don’t trust Uber to get you up to Pena Palace. We had several say they were on the way, then just stop. We ended up taking a tuk tuk. Our driver was great. Have a great time - I would go back any day.

The riots incited by the CIA in the United States have been exploited by students. It is hard to imagine whether you Westerners truly understand, but rather listen to the nonsense of Western media. They want a chaotic China. You only see the suppression of civilians, but you cannot see some student leaders asking ordinary students to protest and take this opportunity to get a green card and escape to other countries to gain money by smearing the country. If you are a leader of China, you do not do so, and you want these students to continue and how to end.

I dragged my BF and my mom along for the tbex conference in Greece last May, we went early and spent 3 days in Athens.... absolutely fell in love with the city. I wish I would have seen your tip for rooftop restaurants, we didn't visit any ...I guess I'll just have to go back....oh darn 🤣❤
