I love Porto. I've been 13 times!!! Its the most beautiful city on earth in my opinion. The people are so friendly. I've made friends there over the years. I always have a wonderful time there.

@@ThePlanetD I'm going back in June for two weeks and hopefully September for 10 days. Im in the uk so its only a 2 hour flight for me. I hope you have a great time guys. I normally go in May when its hot but not too hot. When did you guys go? I wss there in May. I don't mind the crowds. Its always been busy whenever i go. August was super busy. May is busy but not as busy as August. October is a nice time to go to.
I'm planning on taking a trip to Lisbon and Porto in September this year. What would be your No1 thing to do in Porto?
@@colinbrown7305 i recommend just wandering around go to nice outdoor cafes and people watch and see street performers. Go to the restaurants. Visit the churches. Maybe do a river cruise. I don't recommend livaria lello.

Good morning. Loved your video, very informative. Going this weekend and your video has helped me plan a lot. I just wanted to find out about the pirate ship cruise on the Douro, did you book it in advance and if so with which company did you book with as I don’t seem to be able to find it online. Thanks a million.
We didn't book it in advance, We just walked along the waterfront and booked it at a kiosk on the Gaia Side. we asked the vendors where to book that ship (and pointed to the pirate ship) and then they pointed out their ticket booth. Have a great time!

All I mostly used was an iPhone 13 Promax. I have since upgraded to an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I am now using a DJI wireless lav mic amzn.to/42ztutn - In Porto, I was using a Holllyland Lav Mic amzn.to/49xmiAb
Hello, was the port wine tasting (flights & snacks) booked in advanced or walk in? Location?
We just walked in and went to Taylor's. It is in the WoW district on the Gaia Side. You can sit outside as well. They also offer tours, but you need to book the tours in advance. But the tasting and snacks can be walk ins.
Did you feel 48 hrs were enough or would one or two add’l days be justified?

Hi everyone, does anyone know if that pirate ship needs to be booked online or they do walk-ins?
We did a walk on and had no problem and the city was quite busy. We walked on from the Gaia side which is less crowded than the Ribeira on the Porto side.
