One interesting detail of The Wolf, is that he came to hunt his wife's killer with the same outfit he wore in his wedding, and he didn't even cleaned the wine stain from the suit.
Maybe it was so he would confirm that it was Ladybug because he spilled the wine on him.
It's just part of his whole character schtick
Anytime something significant happens and he tends to incorporate it into his outfit he's even got one of the flowers from he wifes hair if you look

Weird how Ladybug just happened to be in the same wedding. Damn was he unlucky.
He was just unlucky so that good luck could come to others, he bears the burden so that others can bear good fortune. Some would even call the combination of them both... fate.
hes unlucky but i noticed hes never unlucky when it comes to a life or death situation. mostly just small inconveniences.
Ladybug is such an interesting fate maker, just think about it, if he didn't spill wine on wolf he would be death and wouldn't be in the train and Ladybug would've not get the knife that save his life later, if ladybug was not in the train then the wasp would have kill her target and get away and thus lemon and tangerine would have been killed by the white death because of it, if he was not in the train then the Japanese guy would have died too.

I was really confused as to why the wolf wanted to kill ladybug since his target was the hornet, the envelope he got had hornets face on it so it wasn't mistaken identify so I re-watched it again and I realized it was because he remembered ladybug spilled some wine on his suit at his wedding.
He even looked at the stain in his suite before attacking ladybug and later said it's a two in one revenge amidst their fight. The Guy was really pissed at that little mishap.
Wolf hadnt opened the envelope yet, so when he saw the dude at his wedding at the same train he just assumed

It actually is because Lady bug spilled wine on his suit. Because ladybug did that The Wolf stepped away from his wife to clean the stain off his suit so Wolf believes that if it hadn't happened he would have been right next to his wife and probably have stopped her from eating the poisoned cake.

When I first saw this scene, the way El Lobo mutters "mi corazon", idk why but I felt like he wasn't just referring to where he's been struck but also to his wife, like he's calling out to her in his dying moment.
The same line he talked to his wife, also the first and the last line of him in the movie. Nice touch there.

Notice how in the scene right after ladybug got stabbed and is thrown thru the glass door, the train is already moving.
I like to think they just stood there for like good 2 minutes trying to process wtf is happening.
Being a video editor it's hard for me not to notice continuity breaks like that. Some of the fight choreography is not great. Especially when he puts the briefcase behind his back as if to block an on coming strike but he blocks first then the wolf just attacks the brief case for no reason even though he knows the knife does nothing to it.
@@jamminjagoHi, I'm a year late but i checked your comment and played that scene at 0.25x speed. I suggest you do so too. You'll notice that he put the briefcase behind him to block an attack. It's not unnecessary. Bad Bunny was about to stab him first, he quickly turned around and blocked using the suitcase. Play the scene at 0.25x to see yourself
It's a bullet train, in Japan. Those things are FAST. They're also always on time, so it going at speed so soon is kinda accurate
Same goes when after the chest stab and when he pulls it out... No phone.

It cracks me up that he comes out of nowhere, has this big intro/backstory sequence and a big deal made of his quest for vengeance, then promptly dies due to shitty luck in a fight with a confused Ladybug.
This is one of my favorite movies ever

Brad Pitt actually has great comedic timing. Brilliant actor
so, from what i gathered:
1. ladybug spilled wine on wolf's suit at his wedding.
2. everyone except wolf died at the wedding from poison.
3. because of the spilled wine wolf wasnt poisoned.
4. wolf went on an epic revenge trip for the one who poisoned his wife and family
5. threw it all away to kill the one random guy who spilled wine on his suit and technically saved his life

Gotta admit, this movie was hella messy, but it’s easily on my top Five favorite films. Brad Pitt was honestly the best part about this film. (Bad bunny being a badass was a close second)

Again with the badluck/luck moment from ladybug. Yes, the Wolf was unlucky he got the stain on his shirt by Ladybug but that inadvertently saved his life, since if he was still there with everyone eating the cake, he would've been killed by the hornet, too.
Why is the music in this movie so good though?
Boy, Wanda Maximoff run short with the "you took everything from me". Lady Bug was the true definition of "I don't even know who you are".
I don't like how Brad's character had to check the pulse of a guy with a knife in his heart

You'd be surprised what a person can live through. If there was still a pulse, then there'd be a chance he could've saved. Also it's more about the bleeding than the knife being in his heart, a stab wound is more concerning if the weapon was taken out of the wound to leave it to bleed. If you get shot by an arrow, medical personel would HIGHLY recommend to leave it in until someone can treat it to avoid blood loss.
Could of most likely died when he fell on top of the brief case and snapped his neck. Also I thought he was checking out his tattoo, not checking for a pulse 😅

Alright, can someone please remind me of The White Death's beef with The Wolf? I remember everyone else but The Wolf.
He didn't really have a beef with the White Death. He was in search for the hornet who just so happened to be there on that train.

The White Death sent for the Wolf to kill the Hornet. The Wolf was extra motivated to get revenge on her but didn't have the resources to find her. And it would have worked if Ladybug wasn't on the train.
White death told him who was responsible for the wife’s death so that’s why he went on the train, for his revenge.
So why have him killed

It's too bad Wolf never actually met the real killer, Hornet.
I enjoy these types situations in this movie a lot:
-the wolf never meeting the hornet
-all people who attack Ladybug dying by their own weapons
-Ladybug saying he is unlucky yet surviving with the least injuries out of everyone
-the only person who got to see revenge for the death of their wife being the one who accepted it
and my favourite
-the one person actually responsible for the death of the wife Carver surviving the whole thing because he called in sick

He did know who Hornet was, but he saw Ladybug's face and then looked at the wine stain on his jacket. So, obviously he recognized him from the wedding.
Also he said "fate made this two for one deal" so yeah he wanted to kill ladybug too probably because if it wasn't for him, he wouldn't have be gone to wash his jacket during the wedding.
notice the line "two for one special". He was on the train to kill the Hornet, but then as he was getting on, he recognized that Ladybug was also a survivor of his wedding, and to him that means he probably also had something to do with his wifes death.
Lady Bug will go through a life or death fight and come out of it with the "wow" of an indignant karen.

I just noticed but, The Wolf probably don't understand english very well (or at all), he mainly speak spanish and he could have only learned the specific english phrases and not the WHOLE langage. SO he didn't understand that Ladybug wanted to "talk".

* sigh * That is not where the heart is. The heart is centred in your chest, behind the sternum. Where that knife impacted, he would have a punctured lung, which would take a lot longer to incapacitate him.
It's the nickname from his wife. I don't think he was trying to be medically accurate. But if you got stabbed in the chest by your own knife I doubt you'll be too consumed with what organ it hit right that moment.
This scene is awesome but why is Wolf attacking LB if he's aiming for Hornet?
If anything bumping into him at the wedding saved his life.

The Wolf Was The Only Best Character In Bullet Train
Part of me wonder whether this encounter is part of the White Death's design even though it makes no sense either way. The White Death would obviously want to prevent Ladybug/Carver from leaving the train at that first stop. But it was never explained how he planned to stop him from leaving. The Wolf shows up to prevent Ladybug from leaving, but how would the White Death knows that the Wolf would stop him? It was never explained how the White Death plans to stop Ladybug/Carver from leaving on that first stop. I guess he never expected Lemon and Tangerine to leave the suitcase in the luggage area and the Ladybug/Carver was supposed to fight them for it. The Hornet would then kill the tired victor and the Wolf would then come in to finish the job.
Ladybug running into the Wolf is just his bad luck. The White Death told the Wolf where to find the Hornet, so he would kill her, he's not hired to get paid. He's only there for the Hornet, who is the one killed in disguise, which is also why he gets into the train later than the rest, to ensure the Hornet would kill the son.
The White Death assumed that Carver and the Twins would either kill each other over the briefcase or that his men would just kill whoever survived. Because who no on earth leaves a briefcase this important in the luggage area other than Lemon.
So the plan was basically: Carver and the Twins get in with the son. Carver goes after the Case, fight against the Twins ensues. If someone survives they'll have to report back to the White Death and get killed by his men, if all die the Hornet can steal the case in peace. While that is happening the Hornet gets an open to kill the son and vanish. At the next stop the Wolf gets in to kill the Hornet. He's the only one with no relations to the wives death and the White Death might just sympathize with him, given their backstories.
His son was always going to die, if the Hornet didn't finish the job, he could do it himself. And because whoever ended with the briefcase between Carver and the Twins would report back to him, they'd also always die. So the only issue is killing the Hornet and the Wolf would have always come after her as long as she lived to avenge his wive.
And the man hasn't left his house in two years, so I doubt he was in the headspace to consider all the stuff that could go wrong.
Now that i think about it
A few of them died due to them

He should of had a bigger role then that made his character live longer or he go for someone else that was at hid wedding who didn’t have any cake and was away when everyone died. And he thinks it was them to realise it was Ladybug

I didn't know the lungs were located on the shoulder. Plus Ladybug was harmed, there was blood on the knife, but it only went about an inch deep because the phone stopped it. That's also why he asked "Did you just stab me?" while checking his shoulder.

When I first saw this video I thought "That fight was pretty cool I'll watch the whole movie," but now I am incredibly disappointed. You're telling me thata proffesional killer finally gets a picture of the person who killed his wife and it never occurs to him to look at said photo? He then just so happens to remember the face of a random waiter who was there at the time of his wife's death well enough to recognize him years later and just so happens to be standing in the perfect spot to be right in front of him when the trains stop? I'm sorry but even for an action movie that is just lazy writing. This movie sucked so bad.
