Excellent show! Adam Ant, the band, just an all around great performance in Detroit last night!! So much energy and talent!! So glad I didn't sit this one out!!
Fantastic video and sound! Caught Adam's performance at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee on Monday night and it was well-worth the wait. Thanks for posting this!
I was a U. City kid when Punk broke. And then we had post Punk and then we had MTV. Adam Ant has always been at the top of my list. Maybe Ian Dury and Nick Lowe are his equal. And let's not forget Andy Partridge. This era of English music was--and is--the best. And yes I have to mention Elvis Costello--he may be the best of the STIFF group. But I go back and forth on that.
I gotta assume it sounded better than this cell phone recording. On the plus side he looks pretty good! The last time I'd seen him on TV. (Jules Holland or somewhere?) He was FAT! And quite unhealthy looking! He's so thin now it's shocking! I was kinda thinking it had to be someone else!?
Recently saw his show in Indianapolis. He has quite a bit more energy in this clip. His band -- incredible! Although, I don't think the "prince charming" bit aged so well🤔. His music is so much about time and place. I can't imagine the absolute tedium of performing the same set night after night. That makes me sad. There have been other retro shows where the headliners looked like they were having so much more fun. This was not one of those. English Beat -- always amazing! They always seem like they LOVE performing!!
I hope I’m just like this at 70. Wow!
This guy is 70 in november and he is still performing like he did 40 years ago, where does he get the energy from.
Amazing
I just saw Gary Numan perform last month on his 66th birthday. Incredible amount of energy and swagger....... some have natural longevity,
Adam is amazing! Loved the show!
👉🏼WONDERFUL 🫵🏼 🎶 🌎 🫶🏼
Good to see you're still at it Adam. You are one of the first artists I ever paid attention to in life. 🤟🏼

Saw him in Vegas a few years back. Best concert I had seen in a long time. Place was sold out.
Just saw him in chicago. brilliant! just as he was in the 1980s
Funny how
The band probably wasn't born when Adam broke back in the day. I miss Marco
I miss Marco too
Marco is alive and well. He's only 65.
Not true
So happy to hear this song and see you doing so well! Love the Irish dance!
Saw him in Kentucky a few years ago...fantastic show!
Looks in great shape must say.
Probably not my cup of tea these days, but excellent to see him in fine form. 👍
Goosebumps!!!

His music has held up really well, I was just listening to some of his songs today. Back in the day when music was music…

Wasn't he locked in an insane asylum at one point?
What a crappy song.
