- Learn to make easy, healthy homemade Neapolitan ice-cream using frozen bananas as the base. This ice cream is thick, creamy and super delicious. The flavor and texture are just like a traditional soft-serve ice-cream but without any dairy or refined sugars.
You can make this ice-cream ahead of time and keep it in the freezer until you are ready to serve. This is a cold, creamy refreshing treat that you feel good about eating all summer long!

NEAPOLITAN ICE-CREAM RECIPE:
Vanilla Ice-Cream
3 frozen bananas
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender until thick and creamy. Transfer into the loaf pan, pushing all of the ice-cream to 1/3rd of the pan. Pop pan in the freezer.
Chocolate Ice-Cream
3 frozen bananas
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender until thick and creamy. Transfer into the center of the loaf pan. Pop pan in the freezer.
Strawberry Ice-Cream
2 frozen bananas
1 cup of frozen strawberries
2 teaspoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender until thick and creamy. Transfer into the last 3rd of the loaf pan. Pop pan in the freezer.
Freeze for a minimum of 2 hours or until it is set up and easy to scoop.
If you freeze the ice-cream for longer, it will become hard SO just be sure to give it a few extra minutes to soften before scooping. ENJOY!

I use Greek yogurt instead of any milk so that I don't get that strong banana flavor, it's thicker and a good amount of protein!

My aunt's neighbor used to freeze half-banana on popsicle sticks, which she'd dip into choc sauce and it froze crispy right away, and that was even better than ice cream to us kids.

Thank you! I love ice cream, it’s the perfect bedtime snack to me. I don’t like the things in purchased ice cream. I always share with my Pit Bull in bed, he’s my baby. This is so easy. Since I share with my dog I used carob instead of chocolate. I have a yard of raspberries so I substituted them for strawberries. I also have a Vitamix. Thanks again, look forward to more flavors. I didn't understand about freezing bananas but now I do and how much sweeter it makes the ice cream - yummy! I never ever use sugar as I can't afford to put on weight so I use Canderel or something similar - also yummy!
I will try this with the greek yogurt and condense milk. I may make mango ice cream or add the mango also with the banana. Thanks for the recipe. Can't wait to try it.

No bananas for you probably. You could probably make a stevia sweetened one.

This is great! Almost all "healthy" recipes manage to add sugar to the recipe with the usual "its healthy cus it's not as much as other recipes" I love how this ones has only 2tsp of sweetener which is optional! Love it. In my opinion even a dust of white sugar is too much sugar. Love your channel

I used to make this all the time in my little nutri bullet when I was craving something sweet. I would freeze bananas until they were semi frozen, put them in the nutri bullet with a tiny bit of almond milk like maybe half a table spoon (because I would only use around half a banana) and blend it up until it was thick like ice cream. Then, I would add a little bit of cocoa and blend it again. It curb my craving for chocolate ice cream and was still really good! I think I sometimes added in a tiny bit of honey too or stevia. I think I’ll start making this again
