I seriously wonder why they got rid of Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar? I loved them. It sucked that they got rid of them they made the commercials enjoyable.
I think it may have been because having mascots that appealed to kids was a bad look, especially when the restaurant sells unhealthy food. I do miss them too.

But I get what you mean because most kids wouldn't care for these characters but I definitely like Ronald McDonald and I think that it was a silly move to get rid of them

Now it's a Starbucks clone that happens to also sell burgers and other sandwiches. Almost all the restaurants are now grey or dark inside, boxed shaped on the outside, and are as cozy as a hospital or office building. BORING!!

One thing I love about some of these cmmercials is the continuity. Like Iamhungry ends up getting his fries after being tossed out of the shoe while the fry sniffing aliens still have Ronalds shoes on their heads.
This was the golden era of Macdonald’s and their happy meal toys truly, I was born in 1986 so I know, whatever happened to the big n tasty burger and the regular cheeseburger... they will never be an era like the 90s 🙌🏼💯💯✌️
