I think that is true but Brit is also not giving or used to the usual Hollywood bullcrap interview technique of trotting out the usual PR fluff to just Promote the show. Also Ellen looks bewildered at this new wave of talented, creative wonder that just can't be quantified.

I think her aura and persona in general is so unique and off-tempo to most people, that when she tries to make a joke, it doesn’t come across too well. It’s in her writing too in The OA.
I’m pretty similar; I’ll say something sarcastic, or as a joke, but I’m not really that great at modulating my voice, nor expressive. So, it just ends up monochromatic and serious.

I've been watching tv shows and movies and reading books and comics my whole life and this is already quickly becoming my favorite work of storytelling. If the rest of the seasons even match half of what I got out of the first two, it will claim that spot for sure.

I waited for the second season to come out for months bro. I watched the whole season the day it came out. The entire concept, the artistry, the spirit of it is so soothing, violent, calming, graphic, confusing and makes sense all at the same time. This is everything I've ever ever wanted in a show and I can honestly say it's my favourite TV show of all time. A perfect balance of every aspect it touches

If you didn’t already know Brit Marling before The OA, she co wrote and stared in another semi bizarre move called Another Earth, that is a good watch. Talented writer and actor.
I am sooo glad that i gave "The OA" a chance. It was through the show that I found out who Brit was. Such a great creator with a very ceative/imaginative mind. I finished both seasons recently, back to back. I really hope that more people give it a chance, and I really hope that the show gets the green light for a season 3. Kehlani's new song, RPG, was inspired by the show.
She is so good at telling stories in her movie & tv show, even a simple camping story is so interesting and satisfying to listen. A good actress and producer.
