- The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 3. It retains a similar if not same design language but still manages to bring several new features. In this video, I'll be going over several Galaxy Z Flip 4 tips and tricks and first things to do as soon as you get your new Flip. In case you're unaware, the Samsung Flip 4 is packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 8gb of RAM, up to 512gb of storage, and a larger 3,700mAh battery which should bring much better battery life. The display is the same 6.7" FHD+ 120hz panel but Samsung did manage to slightly improve it. They also made the hinge even stronger and more resilient to everyday wear. The cover screen still offers a nice sized display for notifications, widgets, and a few other things that you'll learn in this video. The Galaxy Flip 4 has really impressed me so far and I can't wait to share more content soon. I'm probably gonna be upgrading to the Z Flip 4 from an iPhone 11 next year and I'm super excited! The fact that you can use the flex mode like a tripod when taking photos will be useful for me because I like taking outfit pictures and with my current phone I have to try to balance it on my bedroom's doorknob to get a full-body picture.
How do you make the cover screen big like yours and rotate like that??

@KardinalVO I have youtube music which includes CZcams premium which allows me to listen to CZcams without any screen on. Perfect for folding the phone and CZcams is uninterrupted and it removes commercials. But on the little screen yes, it takes up a lot less energy as big screen is the most battery draining part of all phones.

I switched from a pixel 6 pro. Modem blows that phone out of water but miss some of the pixel software. That and the telephoto camera. I wonder if next year they will add one. I feel like if they could double the size of cover screen and add a telephoto that would address my pain points.

I'm still using my s21 ultra and wants to upgrade to a flip. But what really concerns me is the longevity of the device specifically its main display, as I tend to keep my devices with me and don't resell them.
First, you can get insurance, second, it's been tested to liek 100,000 flips with no damage, and third, I never close mine when I'm at home or work. I only close it when I'm going somewhere.
You can get more bang for the buck with a non-flip.
Flip is an expensive Flop that is way too fragile and lacks too much

I'm late to the party 😭 I actually love this phone and have had NO issues bc something about it makes me be want to be gentle with the phone. However when I accidentally leave it out people will touch it and leave scratches (you're not supposed to use it with long nails) or they'll drop it bc they're not used to handling such a thin phone and I had to replace the tactile sensor or whatever it's called. 10/10 not stranger friendly, it's almost like they get cute aggression from it or something 😒

Your phone already has a screen protector on it. So no need to buy one. It even tells you not to remove it when you're setting up your phone for the first time.
Does anyone has issue with notification delay on the flip 4? Lot of times the notification has a huge delay (20-30 minutes) like when my security camera detects person there, it should send notification to my phone right away (at least it's the case when I used my iphone). However, for my flip 4, most of time I didn't get the notification (random delay couple minutes and could up to 30 minutes). Anyone knows how to fix that?
If you have Wallpaper Engine on PC you can easily use it to move Wallpapers into your phone and adapt many of them to it. The phone app is free.

The live wallpaper on the cover screen only works when i tap on it. What did I do wrong? I would really like to have a video on the outside of my Phone run all the time. I only get the video wallpaper after taps and it is very short video.

How can I add contacts on front screen? It has "Tap to add contacts", when I tap it says "Open phone to continue", I open, slide screen, choose who I want to be able to call from the cover screen, and nothing else happens. What am I missing?
After adding the contacts widget, hold it down and click on edit, open the phone, unlock the phone, hit the minus in front of any contacts, search for contacts you want, click on them.
since the flip is foldable id rather have it thicker to have 5000mah battery

@@OT4Tech this be true though. I was an android user and then switched to iphone then switched back. There’s just so many features on android phones that can be used to customise the device which is very limited to iphone users. Videos like this, however basic it may be, are very useful.
