Once, when I was like 4 years old, coming home from temple one night, I was in my father's car, and he stopped for gas on the way home... so we got home about 5-10 minutes later than my mother did. By the time we got there, my Jewish mother was frantic and saying that she was about to call the police. lol
Penny is actually a not-so-bad actress. You will see in the coming season that she can actually act. When she likes the project/acting job, she puts an effort to it.
Doesn't that defeat the point tho? And doesn't it get pointed out in show multiple times that she shouldn't be picky about what role she has to play or project she is involved in?
I don't think she's just being picky. She accepted the hemorrhoid commercial, a role in Diary of Anne Frank above the bowling alley, and the stupid gorilla movie, because she understood she had to start from the bottom. I'm just pointing out that when she likes what she does, she puts more effort into it. Like in the Streetcar Named Desire, she was really great in it, as Sheldon and Amy pointed out. She was also excited fot her role in NCIS. And even in the 2nd gorilla movie, she still tried to work hard for it even though the script was so bad. But it was the director that didn't care about the movie.
@@winesquivel8245 -- Ironically Penny was very successful in her second career. Bernadette said Penny was the hardest worker she knew. Even Penny admitted she was a mediocre actress but great at this job.
I suppose there's the possibility that Mrs. Wolowitz never actually checked the hospital and the morgue and only said that to make Howard feel guilty.

I know it seemed like Sheldon was a complete jerk in this episode but I kinda blamed his friends. Like Eric said, they could have always rescheduled for next weekend & simply explained to him that he needed to be with Amy to spend time with her family. The fact that they were about to play the game without him regardless, showed that they lowkey wasn't shit💯. Sheldon is in a relationship but there's a lot of things that he didn't know and later on in the next season, they gladly touch on that.
They all have schedules, work, girlfriends and ect... and that was the day they set aside to do it. I can't really blame them for sticking to it because if they reschedule who knows when they'd get around to it or if something else would come up.
Right, blame the friends. Blame everyone except Sheldon. Everything has to revolve around him. It's not as if they have their own life and schedule, right?
@@winesquivel8245 I do blame the friends in a way. I'm not saying that Sheldon is innocent and that he's right all the time, but if they been friends with him for a long time and they know exactly how he is, then I felt it was only fair to work out a plan to reschedule. Raj said that he wanted to have a gaming weekend with the fellas which included Sheldon right? So I'm just saying that it would have been fair, if they had just came up with a better date and time. If you wanna talk about having lives, then we can use that to the advantage. Because all of them are in a relationship (except for Raj) and they could be doing something else with their women, but Sheldon wanted to hangout with his friends instead of going to a party, seems highly accurate, especially knowing he didn't want to be left out. And as we saw in the end of the episode, he didn't even understand or know that Amy was upset or why it was important to her until she pointed it out. I say it was his friends fault in a way because they know when it comes to relationships, Sheldon is not an expert, so they should have told him at the comic book store, that he should just go hangout with Amy, get to know her family, and they'll play when he got back. They was up all night so they had plenty of time.

Yeah they’re all at fault, this episode really just shits on the whole notion of doing something your girlfriend wants. Then it makes Raj out to be the victim because he has to be around all these other people that have girlfriends (even tho they act like they’re a liability when they do something that inconveniences the guys even tho the guys are constantly doing it to the girls). Maybe I’m reading too deeply into this but this episode struck me as incredibly sexist
Well I wouldn't say Orange county is immediately next to Pasadena. There are cities 10 mi away from Pasadena that are closer to Orange county. Of course I don't mean this to be a defense for his hypochondria
Compared to the entire country or somewhere international, it's pretty close.
The Mass Effect series was so hilarious when you chose Renegade, I had so much fun with it. You could behave like a total prick and everybody was fine with it, and Shepard was like "ok ok, relax, imma save the friggin world, but you bet I'm gonna insult the living crap outta y'all while doing it!" 😆😆
The coupons are a scam, he does all those things for free and his own enjoyment.

I'm baffled that Raj is angered by having Bernadette with them. I thought nerds are amazed when an attractive girl shows interest in Star Wars considering how male-dominated the fandom is.
They generally don't believe you ACTUALLY like star wars or that you could possibly know as much about it as them...
He meant it to be a boys weekend, though, to feel like the old days when they were all single. Bernadette being there reminds Raj that he's still single and the others aren't

I am a fan of both. Saw all the movies and watched all the TV shows. But what is the major difference? Not talking about minor details such as different races or planets or equipment.

Poor Raj? He is the embodiment of a niceguy. He's mad that he isn't in a relationship but doesn't work on himself first. And I hate when people say that it bothers them if they are single. If bring single is too much for you, maybe you aren't ready for a relationship. People who constantly complain about being single while also yearning a relationship are so annoying
I mean sometimes that's kinda easier said than done. People can go to therapy and get some type of help, yet that doesn't mean progress will be completed. It's like having a drug problem, if you been struggling with drugs and finally took the time to get help, that doesn't necessarily mean that your cured. It's a constant fight everyday to not relapse, same goes with selective mutism. He see his friends in relationships and all 3 of them have their own problems, but they are in happy and committed relationships, so now he got it in his head, that something must be wrong with him and he just not meant to have love. Having that feeling implanted in your mind is dangerous and very real. If this was a drama show, he probably would have tried to commit suicide because of that💯.
From his perspective, he probably can't fix himself, so he need a woman to help him be repaired and wants to return the favor from her. There were times where he blew it with dates and times where he got treated wrong. But I do agree, you shouldn't be in a relationship, if you can't fix yourself first. I had to find that out for myself, a long time ago.

Sheldon is just so unlikable and hypocritical. He enforces a childish agreement to get everything his way but never fulfills his part of it. For god's sake, he has a girlfriend that, for some astronomically baffling reason, wants to spend time with him and he tells her to get lost just so he can play a video game that he can play any time he wants.
And for all Sheldon apologists: this has nothing to do with having autism or Asperger's. This is just being self-centered.
