I feel Adam needs a medal for how hard he must have worked to keep the band together. Definitely the glue in some ways that made things happen. Booking gigs basically acting as your manager I heard. Good drummer and can play many instruments. Top geezer..

Feel like I'm back in 6thForm. Loving the podcast boys, would be good if we could see people when being interviewed even if it is online, but I really can't complain as this is top notch.

Ahhh wow it must have been so stressful, It sounds like there were some horrible old crackheads hanging about saying yes to anything as long as there got one more pipe. So fair play to Adam for staying so Cool and grounded.

Do you think you will get a Pete Doherty interview over the coming months/years?

The podcast has definitely been cool, unearthing some cool gems. Big up to you all! However, I definitely think the guitar vibe is stronger than ever, with UK acts, such as Fat White Family, and even amazing cis female groups, such as Goat Girl. Trap music has evolved through hip hop, and incorporates 'metal', and 'punk' within the soundscapes. Experimental music beyond AV is hot for guitars; the noise scene is interesting, and everyone seems to be post punk, a la Idles. I just think the platforms are more diverse and eclectic. Hell you could argue sea shanties have been apart of the coral and Doherty and TikTok exploding with acoustic shanty acts! So, yeah, I disagree with the notion that bands or guitars is done!

Thanks for getting involved in the podcast, much appreciated. The more I've thought about it, and after speaking with people on the podcast, I definitely think there are a lot of good bands out there - it's just not as defined as it was in other eras. No doubt it's harder for bands to maintain, e.g Kiwi Jr currently having jobs whilst releasing their second album with Sub Pop, but if you look for it, it's there. I'd find it hard to agree that it's stronger than ever but I guess my era has been and gone, however, it's certainly good to hear! Harry.

@@22grandpod Thanks for your cool response. Maybe 'stronger than ever' was a little too wishful and blindly positive in my thinking; especially in this diverse on/offline society we currently navigate. Maybe the coolest last few years since 2006. I just definitely believe that it is out there, you know with FAT WHITE FAMILY, ICE AGE, THE VIAGRA BOYS, etc w/great female led groups, which was lacking in the 00's overall. I think there is also a statistic showing 'females' make up the bulk of guitar buyers, or something, which is only a positive. I have attended some really great shows and club nights, Yes in Manchester and Fat Out at the Islington Mill, plus in Leeds Wharf Chambers is where its at! Your time has not been and gone, I think Tom has released some material recently, I heard on Instagram and it sounds legit. Anyway, you guys can come together and jam again under a different umbrella, perhaps. Thanks again, and all of the best to you in every endeavour!
