Also why did paimon become tired and faint like a sick person she litrelly didn't wake for half the quest maybe she is the one that saved traveler from the locked door which changed to abyss also she's the one tossed the fantastic compass when everyone thought there's noway is she hinting because she has connections with time so know what's gonna happen
Like she said to traveler that she's god of protection she protects traveler without anyone noticing also if she opened the door it'll be someone from celestia who throwed her out or surpassed her powers also as xiao said those illusions will become real if so paimon'd have died
Itto made this whole quest so much better! Also the way he calls Xiao "Little Dude"😭

I reaaally liked the domain puzzle in this one! And Xiao's dialogue with the illusion of Bosacius tears at my heart... "I won't fight you!" and the way he says it... You can tell how upsetting the whole ordeal was to Xiao.

Paimon's raising so many sus flags in this quest. She keeps evading questions, She's experiencing time way advance than the rest of us. She's refusing to go inside the door cuz she's "tired". And also dropped another "well never be separated " foreshadowing again.
Also remember the upside down statue and how we left it because Paimon said we should “get out of here”
This quest made me like Yanfei's lore so much more, before it, I always thought of her as somewhat free spirited and goofy character, yet she is frankly AMAZING
I was doing this quest really late at night so it was quite immersive when everyone was becoming as tired as me. Then I got lost in the bloody time loop maze thing for literal hours and felt even more immersed, like i was actually trapped they waiting to die. Good times

19:02 Damn. Looks like Bran experienced the cutscene glitch too. So far I have yet to find a stream or playthrough that was *actually* able to show the cutscene.
There was supposed to be a cutscene?!? I didn't get one eather. Was it with the twin? The one shown in the version trailer?
@@saradauchiha8466 yup that's the one. When it looks like the camera gets stuck in the floor, it was actually supposed to trigger it. Hoyo acknowledged the bug in their update notices section but bcuz there's no "redo quest" option, we can't exactly go back in once it's been fixed. It seems to have affected a LOT of players.

Its like events in Genshin Impact, we just stay where we are, until new event... we stay "ok" in game, but we are driven mad for new content. :D

But by that door, i think eighter its "being" that feeds on fear and once confronted behind the "vault" made by eighter Enakonomia people or even Kanriah people (design), they trapped it inside.... or maybe curse devaured Kenriah people in "vault" (as Itto stated) beyond "god level" (karma), which means Traveler is scared by abyss. Or Abyss is real "existence" and we just peeked upon it... feeding on others. This quest was short, but filled with mystery.
Oh and about the traveler, did he feared "us" (player) leaving (left in the abyss) - or do they are just so "empty", even *that* area didnt scared them: so it "spit" them out?
It can be even concept of "braking ground in game": player get, sky.... maybe Rex Lapis *did* broke the ground and broke the game, so it trap characters in a loop. :D
Or maybe trapped Yaksha was locked in space and time still trying to "lock" enemies in that place, no matter who or what... he sacrificed theirself to keep *anything in*.

I think what happened in Liyue, being attacked by dark beasts from Khaenriah, was connected to the 2nd story quest of Raiden. If you remember, she told us that Inazuma was also attacked 500 years ago by the dark beasts. Maybe in the future updates we might learn more how other regions were affected.... But how about Mondstadt??? hmmm I can't remember if there's something mentioned before....

Pratically the dark beast was the rifthound the avanguard of khaenri'ah and yelan say that they attached all the nation so khaenri'ah attached for First not the god of celestia meanwhile for monstaldt they have send durin since he is a creation of gold the most powerful alchemist of khaenri'ah while the rifthound probably was slayed by boreas
i put lumine zhongli and xiao in my party for this quest never been more glad to have them

if you want to try something challenging you should try the new battle event and set the difficulty to apex hostility it took me awhile to beat it but i think you would complete it faster

Only my own dialogue was cut and it's not to be rushed, it's cos I go on tangents when live lmao, any cuts in the in game footage would only be for glitches

Who the heck said Paimon has Kaslana brain?! That's an insult to Kaslanas, they're just airheads, not straight up brain dead like Paimon.
I seriously don't get why Hoyoverse feels to need to make Paimon repeat and dumbdown a plot point that's already very basic and easy to understand. It stops being helpful and is physically painful to listen to.
