    Zidane can do anything
    -heading
    -volley
    -penalty(he never missed)
    -freekick
    -long shot
    -dribble 4/5 players
    - unbelievable ball control
And best is he can control a whole match by his own against any big team in any match

Zidane is a product of "marketing" and they overhyped everything he do. Dont be angry, it doesnt mean he's a bad player, he's just a hypejob. If he's the best Real Madrid should have won 3 in a row UCL's or atleast twice but he didnt. Peace...

At this time, England was really strong. I'm sorry you could not win a tournament. It's unbelievable you could not even reach a final, because you really had a great team during the late 90's/early 2000's, with Beckham, Shearer, Gascoigne, Owen, Scholes, McManaman, Ince, Ferdinand, and later Rooney, Lampard...

I’ll never forget this match, my family visited my grandfather in the hospital, we watched the whole game, in the 89th minute my parents decided to go as visiting hours were over soon and as an Irish family they didn’t want to stick around to see England win. We got back to the car, turned it on and the radio went “and in sports news, France have had a late comeback to beat England 2-1....” we couldn’t believe it.

Agreed on Zidane being the better player, but I disagree on everything else you've said. It's dangerous to judge a players career solely on their international career, Zidane won trophies with France but he arguably had a better (and definitely more balanced) team than England. Zidane was phenomenal at Euro 2000 and in the final of France '98 but in the latter tournament he didn't get up to much before the final, getting sent off in a group game for a crazy stamp on a player and missing the next two games.

      +CorinOfAzaleaTown
There's more to that list, Gerrard did mess up big time in Euro2004 and WorldCup2014 but he also missed a massively important penalty in WorldCup 2006 which would've put England ahead in the shootout (then his fellow Liverpool friend missed after him as well, hence elimination) he was hopeless at Wembley vs Croatia in the last qualifying game for Euro2008 where England lost when only needing a draw and we would've obviously preferred to rely on other players but there were many big players missing for the game i.e Rooney, Ferdinand, Terry, AshleyCole etc... but that also gave him a chance to finally step up and deliver for England and you would've thought the captain's armband in that game and what was at stake would inspire him enough but it didn't, Beckham came on as a 2nd half sub and did so much more than Gerrard managed in the whole match (I wouldn't have continued involving Gerrard in the England team much from then on but if he was going to still be picked that definitely should've been his last appearance as captain but he was allowed to captain England after that in THREE tournaments????? just to continue fucking up).
WorldCup 2010 the whole team were poor so I can't single him out on that one (but he still couldn't inspire the team like people keep saying is apparently a strength of his just because Liverpool fluked 2 cups).
