- Join me as I travel to Gilmer, TX to attend a seeded civil war relic hunt hosted by The Relic Hunters of Texas. If you’re curious about metal detecting seeded hunts and how they differ from natural or open metal detecting events then give this a watch. Not only did we experience some beautiful Texas countryside and warm hospitality but we also recovered some interesting civil war relics.

Didn’t have a chance to mention this when we talked. Before the event, we also visited San Antonio. Saw the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Incredible history, museum and the Riverwalk was beautiful.
