I got mine 6 weeks ago, on Amzn, for £399.
Only downside could be when the battery comes to the end of it's lifespan.
Q:- "Could you tell me whether the tyres are Tubeless or not?" , and "Would solid tyres be a good option?"
(it seems EBikes are generally tubeless, but I have seen angled valve innertubes for 14x2.125 tyres, which would be necessary for the rear wheel). Sorry, if that's a noob question.

Looks like a fun ride, I bet quite a few would be ecstatic hopping on it and zipping about town. Having ridden to work using BART and then hauling my M2 Specialized bike up elevators and parking it inside, I can tell you I would love one just that size. Looks just about perfect, nice and nimble, fast and responsive in tight spaces. Perhaps an ESP32-S2 with tmp117 temp probe would make a nice safety device product, it could wifi you alerts if your bike gets too hot. Another stellar video - thanks! Perhaps you could do episodes on different bike riding uses(commute/shopping/exploring/exercising/socializing) and which bikes are better for each of those purposes. these individual bike reviews are great!

Great you are supporting cheaper bike for those who don't have millions of pounds to spare. Also brill for going through the safe charging/battery story, we really need to sort these myths out for everyone's sake. So what i need is an ebike to get to and from train station (4 miles each way) and to and from shops (2 miles each way) - both just far enough to default to car instead of walk.
    So ostensibly this looks great.
But i live between leeds and wakefield. Each of those small journeys involves hills of varying degrees from gentle but extended incline which it would probably handle fine but also steepness in both directions on the longer journey to the train station which i doubt 10Nm will even touch.
So... whats the best cheap option to handle a hill commute, rather than for cities which tend to be flatter? A rural home shops and public transport hub commuter?
Doesnt need to have huge range but needs to have power, and needs to be low cost.
*Throws down gauntlet with hopeful expression*

If the bike had a quick release lever to drop the saddle to the lowest setting, a folding mechanism at the bottom of the handlebars to drop them along the bike like the folding scooters do, and had a stand built onto the back to hold it upright once the front of the bike is lifted into the air then it would probably not take up much more floorspace than a folding bike other than the extra height which is probably just wasted space anyway when storing a folding bike. It could then be stood in the corner of the room, or the hallway or shed/garage when not being ridden.

Nice review. I recently ordered this electric bike from Amazon. It's scheduled to be delivered in the next few days. I'm almost 65 years young, retired, 5'9, 165 pounds, and workout 3 or more times a week. I decided to purchase this e-bike because of the cost, portability, and features(I wanted an electric vehicle I could pedal but that wasn't too fast.). My main uses for this e-bike will be errands in a small town in deep South Texas (about a 30-45 minute drive from the Mexican border). This will be my first time on a 2 wheeled bicycle(I ride a trike at a local park sometimes) after my motorcycle accident in 2015 where I was run over by a distracted driver and spent 3 weeks in the hospital. It's time to "get back on the horse that threw me" to use an old Texas euphemism...:)

I spent roughly 70 pounds trying to get hold if a tyre that would work in the end the best tyre i have found to get is from Halfords, it's not the same width but it will fit nicely, it's a 1.75 not the 2.2 but the tyre works really well.
So if you have one of these bikes and you need a new tyre check out Halfords they do a good range of tyres at hood prices, i could have saved around 60 pounds had i gone there first.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. czcams.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

These are great little bikes I ride one most of the time I've actually done over 4 thousand miles on my one, however saying that my one is not called dyu, it is called Kugoo, and in order to make the best use of it, you need the throttle.
There is no way you will get anywhere near the range stated, you might get 12 miles and at a push maybe 15 depending on your weight.
They don't like hills much but will struggle up them, it's good to see dyu took note of what I said about the seat post originally they had a bouncy seat post which was just plain terrible as all of these bikes originally had, the standard seat post is much better, I also with my one have different handle bars which makes it even better.
The worst thing about these bikes is getting hold of replacement tyres, other parts are ok on price but the tyres are a ridiculous price, and the tyres that come with it seem to be a magnet for punctures.
I've even tried reinforcing the rear inside of the tyre which didn't work still gets lots of punctures.
But overall it's a really good strong bike, you need to seal the motor or it will rust unless they took heed of that warning and fixed that as well, but that is a simple fix takes about 5 minutes to fix so long as you do it before it rusts up.

I happen to disagree with your opinion regarding the safety of consumer products. I have felt for a long time that it is important for items purchased to be unnecessarily dangerous. I disable my escooter's battery management system because I want it to start a house fire, destroying all of my property and potentially harming any of several people.

I had a Kugoo Khirin ebike just like this one (looks the same just has slightly different parts), It was great it some ways but i just want to say the bad things about it.
its abit wobbly at high speed which is dangerous and its also very dangerous if you crash or get hit by a car, compaired to a bigger bike. so i wouldnt buy one this small

That bike looks so sketchy and unsafe the way they designed it makes the handle bars wanna start wiggling. These companys need to realize that theres a stupid kid out there like me whos gonna take it down the steepest streets ever at a million miles an hour

Its called a tank slapper ona motorcycle and its from having to much weight in the back alot of harleys can have this problem if they start bouncing at high speed. Your actually not suppost to do the thing your gonna do and thats fight the wiggling handle bars i did that at 100 mph abd it tranfers to the back and it started drifting the motorcycle and evebtually threw me off.

I can’t contain myself - your riding position is appalling! That saddle desperately needs raising. There is so much guidance available to get a good bike fit. I think your channel is great, but riding position undermines credibility.

@@ElectroheadsI'm actually so glad you mentioned your height. Especially since this is the first time I saw your video. I purchased the Jetson Axle 12 a few days ago, put it all together but when I got on it my knees hit the handle bars so I had to return it! So I've been checking out the DYU D3F 14" for the last couple of days. I saw that taller people were on it and there is more of a distance between the seat and the handlebars. I am 5'8" and just watching your video now it really confirmed that it would work for me with my height! So thank you so much for the very informative video and mentioning your height! ❤️
