Uzbeks love a nice plate. If I had more space in my luggage, and a bit more confidence in my packing skills, I'd buy some of their dishware. Very beautiful stuff being made here.
?? Maybe be due to my background and coming from Australia - I never experienced any rudeness, shifty pricing - very much the opposite, great honest (genuine) friendly people. The video started great but your negativity sort of was a huge downer, we have travelled to all parts of the world and never experienced a bad place, a few bad eggs nere and there, some taxis drivers, but that is to be expected, but people were always great - we showed them respect and went with the local ways without expecting our Western norm.
You have a quirky, oddball sense of humor and I have a feeling you drove your teachers nuts back in your elementary school days because as the Japanese say, - "the nail that sticks out, must be hammered down", or something like that.

Great country. We took a week long pitstop through Tashkent when moving from Cambodia last year. Would definitely consider living and working there.
